“Construction/remodeling going on. Soon to become a Radisson. Somewhat outdated decor, but I suspect that with the remodeling, that it will improve. Beds were somewhat hard. Poolside rooms can be noisy on weekend nights.” May 19, 2005 by
Janice from Chicago, IL
“The hotel was easy to find from my location. It was clean, the staff was friendly. Their was no charge for local calls. The Hot water tank broke but that can happen at home and was repaired on the same day. ” May 15, 2005 by
Andrew from Virginia, MN
“The Manchester East Hotel is rather odd, but in a good way. The rooms are much different than most hotels. They are spacious and quiet with a slight exotic feel; All have interior windows that overlook a beautiful atrium with a pool, whirlpool, and social area. The Hotel has upscale shopping 2 miles north. A library 3/4 mile south, Bayshore mall 2 miles south, and a grocery store 1 block away. Olive Garden is 7 miles West. I felt guilty for getting the room as inexpensively as I did.” May 6, 2005 by
Zygmunt from Chicago, IL
“I would recommend this small comfy place to everybody. Very good and free internet.” May 2, 2005 by
Linda from Tampa, FL
“This hotel was definitely a bargain - for the price I paid, and for even more. It was centrally located, and the staff I dealt with were all friendly and professional.” Apr 19, 2005 by
Richard from Deforest, WI “The hotel lobby was very nice. I was not at all impressed with the rooms. Dark, drab, very poor bathroom / shower. Not at all what I expected for rating of three stars.” Apr 18, 2005 by
Heidi from Eldorado, WI
“Other than location, I do not have a lot of positive comments. The bed was small and uncomfortable the non-smoking room reeked of smoke and was not clean.” Mar 9, 2005 by
Ken from Ann Arbor, MI
“I would not give this property a 3 or 4-star rating. Definitely a 2-star property. Location is OK. The hotel is in need of an update. There was a ethernet outlet in the room, and an extra phone, but neither functioned at all. In one hallway, water was leaking into a bucket through an electric light fixture -- a serious safety concern that was not repaired for the entire length of my stay -- 1 day. Would probably opt for a different hotel in the future.” Sep 8, 2004 by
Deborah B. from Ballwin “We have stayed at other three star, upscale hotels in the Milwaukee area. I don't believe that the Manchester East Hotel fit that category. It appeared to be an older hotel needing updates. The staff was friendly and courteous, but the amenities were not consistent with other three star, upscale hotels that we have stayed in.”
