• Parking garage difficult to navigate.

• The location was great for what we wanted to do in the downtown area.
• Disappointed that there was not pool or hot tub.

“The room was very comfy and attractive. We had a great view. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The food was very good plus we had the extra advantage of watching the Holiday Parade right outside the window while we had breakfast.”

“I really enjoyed my stay here. My husband and I stayed one night to celebrate our anniversary. The location was so convenient to everything. You could walk anywhere you needed to go really. The staff was incredible, the bartenders made great drinks and also helped us to plan our evening! The room was nice and clean. The bed was very nice.”

• Newly remodeled with beautiful, comfortable, modern rooms.

“I had stayed in this hotel over 20 years ago and had good memories of it, but in it's new form, it's even better. The remodeling on the rooms is beautiful and the amenities are great, large flat-screen TV, i pod dock/alarm clock, storage in the bathroom, nice coffee maker, etc. We only stayed one night after a concert we attended, so didn't take full advantage of what the hotel had to offer, but I was blown away by it's new look. Great job!”

“This hotel, charged for internet and for parking, I was very disappointed, I would rather stay at super 8 s with not so much fluff and not pay for extras. Super 8s are cheap and parking is free and usually have free breakfast and a pool and internet, at this hotel you had to pay for everything. I would never stay in a Hyatt again.”

“Overall, not a great stay. We were told that our request for a king bed would be honored, but upon arrival were told we had to have 2 double beds. One bed was broken and mattresses were very uncomofortable. The room was littered with water bottles under the drapes. Also, our wake up call never registered.”

• The room was nice and big. I liked that there was a skywalk that led right to the mall
• It had a chemical smell in the halls because of the remodeling. The parking also was pretty expensive.

“We enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt. The beds were comfortable and the room was a nice size. I heard a little bit of noise from the hallways, but the air conditioner drowned that out pretty well.”

• Comfortable beds.

“I had a great stay. The staff was friendly and helpful (and even let me check in 4 hours early so I could freshen up before the wedding I was going to). Once in my room, I didn't hear any noise from anywhere else. The bed was really comfortable and the linens were top quality.”

“With the exception of two elevators not working (they're being renovated, I think), this hotel was outstanding in every way. The renovations are incredible in both the public spaces and in the rooms.”

• Nice room, very comfortable. Guy at desk was really nice and helpful.

“I have stayed here before. It is centrally located in the city. You can easily walk to the Third Ward to all the fun places. Even if you stay in the neighborhood there are tons of restaurants and bars to go to. The street parking is free from Saturday after 6 pm till 8 Monday morning. The rooms are very comfy and the bathrooms are really nice too. The guy at the desk that checked us in was ever so friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.”

“Its conveniently located and was recently renovated. The beds are great for sleep. However the huge TV screens are awkwardly situated, so that you are constantly straining your neck looking upward at the screen.”

• The staff was extremely friendly and courteous and helpful. We did have drinks at the bar area and the staff was fantastic.
• The parking was not free. It was additional to park your vehicle in a ramp which was a great disappointment.

“Our room had 2 queen sized beds which were very comfortable, a decent bathroom, one cup coffee maker, chair, TV and desk. We were on the 18th floor which would have been fine except 2 out of 4 elevators were not working and the hotel was very close to full.”

• Proximity to the Rave.
• The $80 fee for parking, not worth it.

“There was no mention of the parking fees on the hotel's website. I called the manager and was told quite candidly that every hotel has parking fees. I personally have never paid a fee to stay at any hotel.”

• The location is excellent for dining and light shopping. The room was clean and nicely decorated.
• Some of the cleaning people were lazy. Did not finish setting up our beds, refill coffee or give us enough towels 1 day.

“Overall, my experience at Hyatt downtown was OK. The night counter person was
rude. The cleaning staff on Sunday morning were not very consistent with there setting of the beds, replenishing towels and amenities. The only good points are the cleanliness and the quick service once I called front desk.”

• We liked the comfort of the bed.
• The bar wasn't open, the restaurant was limited access, no local sports channels in room, no good eating establishments and close to hotel.

“The hotel was under a major renovation and that would have been good to know before we arrived. I also believe that the $20 a day parking fee should be waived for people staying at the hotel.”

• Newly remodeled rooms.
• Loud work on the elevators at 7:30am!

“We seeing a show at the Pabst Theater and were looking for a place in downtown Milwaukee. The location was great, a short walk to the theater and the entire hotel had been remodeled. Our room was very nice and the new restaurant and bar looked nice, but we didn't get a chance to try them. The only down side was that the remodel isn't 100% complete and we were awakened to loud banging at 7:30 am, which seemed unreasonable. However, it looks like they are nearly done with the remodel, so that shouldn't be a concern for much longer.”
