• I liked the convenient location.
• No indoor (or outdoor for that matter) pool.

“Extremely conveniently located. Room was clean. No coffee-maker in room. Complimentary coffee in public areas until 11AM, no coffee available after 10pm. No pool available. In-hotel breakfast expensive. Plenty of restaurants, theatres, etc within walking distance of hotel. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff.”

• The bed and bedding was so comfortable.
• What wasn't to like?

“I found the renovated Hyatt to be very luxurious and wonderful to stay at. The rooms are beautiful ~ the new beds and linens are fabulous! I wish my trip would have been longer so that I could have enjoyed more of the amenities that the Hyatt had to offer. It will definitely be on my list of hotels to stay at again in Downtown Milwaukee.”

• I got hit with the flu on the plane and I slept in the wonderfully comfortable bed all day. Room service was awesome.
• If I had felt up to it, a pool would have been nice&

“Our overall stay was exceptional, I'm not one for heights and 16 floors was high. But it was away from the lobby noise and I did appreciate that. Hopefully the next time we visit Milwaukee, I wont be fighting a nasty flu bug.”

• The nonsmoking room and hallway had smoke stench.

“The Comfort Inn is well kept and clean. The hotel would be better if it could separate the smoking from the non smoking rooms. Location was convenient to the expressway, and not too far from the City.”

• Location in Downtown was good, room was clean.
• Stayed for two days and did not get housekeeping at all.

“We went up on Thursday. 3-20-08 and planned to leave the next day, but there was a major snowstorm and we ended up being stuck for another day. They let us continue to stay in the same rooms, but said if we wanted the same rate. Fortunately, there was a room right off the lobby where guests can use the internet ($3 for 10 minutes). The hotel was nice; rooms were clean, attractive lobby and a convenient downtown location. On the flip side, we did not receive any sort of housekeeping during the two days we were there. At the very least, it would have been nice to get the trash cans emptied. I guess I could've called down to the front desk and requested it, but I felt like I shouldn't have to and we ended up just dealing with it. Also, there were no vending machines (other than overpriced soda pop machines). One of the nights, we went looking for vending because we wanted a late night snack, and we were unable to find anything. It cost us $20 per day to park in their parking garage, which seems a bit outrageous to me. I would say it was a more positive than negative experience though and would probably stay there again if we were going to be overnight in Milwaukee.”

• Huge interior courtyard, glass elevators, heated walkways that connect to many downtown shops and hotels.
• Exterior windows weren't clean.

“I think I expected a little more for this being rated a 3-star hotel. It was close to downtown attractions. The bathroom was a bit cramped. I nearly smacked my foot on the toilet while getting out of the shower. If you are going to an event at the Bradley center, us cellular arena or Milwaukee auditorium, this hotel is perfect. It is right across the street. I thought $20 for parking was a little steep, but it is convenient.”

• Convenient location for the play we were going to see.
• Revolving restaurant closed at 11:00 pm; alternate bar facility was small and crowded.

“Although this hotel has a good downtown location, it left a lot to be desired for a brand-name hotel. It's star attraction is a revolving restaurant on the 19th floor and yet it closed at 11:00 pm. Our play did not get out untill that time, so we missed an opportunity to have a drink and see the nightlights. The remaining 'sports bar' in the lobby was small and crowded since it was the only 'night spot' open in the later evening hours. Our heat was set at 72 when we arrived and the responding maintenance person said the only way to adjust it was to turn off the thermostat and wait for the room to cool down! Sunday morning breakfast was very good - the highlight of our stay.”

• Great location to Bradley Center, a mere 2 block walk. Can't beat that.
• Other than a lack of vending machines for a late night snack run, that is about it.

“Fantastic hotel, very much recommended. Only downside is with a giant atrium noise tends to heard throughout the entire hotel. Otherwise, amazing location, great rooms, great views the whole nine yards.”

• Wonderful Lobby. The beds were really comfortable with lots (7) of pillows.
• No refrigerator.

• They made our honeymoon sweet!
• Absolutely nothing.

“From the valet, the bell hop, the front desk, the room service, the housekeeping to the managers. This is THE place to go and stay in Milwaukee. Much better and much more modern than the Hilton. We left the Hilton on the 2nd day of our honeymoon and finished it up at the Hyatt. Kudos to the staff.”

• Spouse and I are biz travelers, so we look for the best of both worlds. This hotel was fair for our needs.
• $10/day for Wi-Fi, $20/day for parking. No indoor pool or soda machine. Pricey food.

“The buffet breakfast they offer for $16 each is worth every penny! Plenty of quality offers for all lifestyles - even vegans will find plenty to enjoy, and in Wisconsin, no less! The fitness center was very clean, private and orderly, and the view we had was wonderful, in and out of our room. Near everything in Downtown, including beautiful boardwalk. Major bonus that almost everything Downtown is connected through indoor pedways, including other hotels. Great for conventions! (Check out Stanley's indoor fruit market! Super cheap, fresh fruits and vegetables, even in winter!) However, the convenience store was highway robbery and kept strange hours, the sports bar way too pricey ($5 for a domestic IN MILWAUKEE is outrageous) paying $10/day for Wi-Fi and $20/day for parking is very unfair, when most other hotels provide that complimentary. Very, very basic cable in rooms - bring your DVD player! Also, continental breakfast for $9 is way overpriced - that should be included in stay as well. No pool to speak of, so this hotel is really best for conventions and business travelers. Good for what it is, beautiful (if dated) decor, excellent customer service.”

• It is in a great location in downtown Milwaukee and the room had a great view!
• The rooms with two queen beds are slightly cramped compared to the rooms with one king bed.

“Every time I have stayed at the Hyatt in Milwaukee the staff has been extremely friendly and helpful. The staff greets you and asks if you need any assistance from the moment you enter the hotel. The hotel is in a great location in downtown Milwaukee and only blocks from the Bradley Center. All of the rooms have a great view of the city.”

• The location was very convenient to the Downtown area.
• I did not like the fact I had to pay to park my car at the hotel. The overnight parking was $20.00.

“Our last 2 stays we have been quite unhappy with housekeeping. This time our room wasn't made up one night and the other room we booked wasn't made up the other night of our 2 night stay. Trash was left in the hallway for several days. There are coffee machines on each floor to use each morning, supplies were not refilled so you had to go from floor to floor to find cream, sugar, cups, etc. Too bad nice hotel, friendly staff, great location. They really need to work on housekeeping issues.”

“As a business traveler I have come to expect a coffee pot in my room even at a one star hotel! Then for them to tell me a pot of coffee delivered will be $11.00 plus gratuity is ridiculous! Twenty dollars a day for parking!”

• Front desk clerk was very accommodating.
• Elevators seemed inadequate for size of hotel.

“I've been staying at this Hyatt for over 20 years. Although it has lost some of its vibrancy over the years, it is still a comfortable and well maintained hotel. The beds are very comfortable and the size of the sleeping rooms is adequate. The bathrooms are a little small by today's standards.”

• The wonderful restaurant, top floor, rotating view of the city, superb steak!
• Accidentally left new dress in bathroom, called management, nobody found it.?! Manager tried to be helpful though.

“Beautiful hotel. Excellent service. Nicely decorated, roomy rooms. Front desk was exceptionally helpful. Centrally located, close to everywhere you want to be in Downtown Milwaukee. Was a perfect stay, with the exception of me losing my dress.”

“It was in a great location. You can walk to the sporting venues nearby and they had a shuttle to take you to the casino nearby. Very friendly bell hops and valet parking at the same rate of self parking.”
