• Beautiful interior, lots of character.
• When I called to confirm the staff member was very rude.

“It's not very attractive from the outside, but the lobby is beautiful, if small. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again. The only unfortunate aspect of my experience was the woman who I spoke with when I called to request a king size bed. She was rude and argumentative.”

• Daughter left teddy bear, staff was great if finding it and saving it for 5 days!
• Room was so small could fit roll away in and walk.

“An older motel but kept okay. It was horrible that you had to pay to swim in hotels indoor play pool, even if a guest. ”

• The registration area was beautiful & we enjoyed the complimentary cookies & punch.
• It was hard to know where to park.

• Parking $18?? Mid-week in Milw?? Ripoff!!.

“The old Marc Plaza is a good choice if attending any even in downtown Milwaukee. It is connected via Skyway to the Convention Center and is a short walk to the NBA Arena. The waterpark is pretty small but a nice transformation from the old pool.”

• Near public bus for transportation to the State Fair.
• The room could have been darker, outside lighting is on all night.

• High cost of parking vehicle.

“Hotel was built in the twenties and has a very deluxe feel with lots of marble. Room was very well appointed. Personnel at checkin very helpful and friendly. Restaurant not tops in appearance but food was good.”

• I needed to change rooms due to noisy kids next door. Quick & accomodating, and great, quiet new room immediately.
• The first room the commode was a little dirty.

“Beautiful, well maintained hotel. Friendly staff. Loved the wait staff at the restaurant. Great food, nice view. Very comfortable bed, room, etc. I would very much like to stay there again when we travel to Milwaukee.”

• I really loved the lobby's decor and the newly renovated look of the hotel.
• The room was clean, but the bathroom sink had toothpaste on it and I killed a few bugs in the room.

“We loved the decor of the rooms and the lobby of this hotel. We loved the older look of the hotel, yet it was newly rennovated which gave it a classic look. The room was much smaller than we expected, but overall it was a nice experience.”

• no FREE pool - parking fees outrageous

“Wonderful hotel w/ great rooms and very clean- there are parking fees of $18 per night to factor in... and there is no FREE pool. (Hotel has an indoor water park)”

• There was no view to speak of from our room - a small problem.

• This was the greatest experience in a hotel I have ever had!
• It was perfect.

“It could not have been better. The staff was very accomodating, and efficient. Everything was clean and well-kept. If anyone needs to stay in Milwaukee I would recommend them to the Hilton Milwaukee Center every time.”

• the convenience to Summerfest & the shuttle
• the waitstaff at the Miller pub was extremely slow, both afternoon and evening

“In general, I would definitely stay there again. This is the 3rd year I have come to the Hilton to attend Summerfest, and hopefully will be able to take advantage of the same offer next year.The hotel itself is beautiful and comfortable; and the hotel staff was courteous and helpful. The only complaint we had was about the waitstaff at the pub, which may just need more experience handling larger crowds. Next year we plan on staying an extra night if possible, and trying the steak house for dinner.”

• There was continuous loud noises from the room next to our room, which continued until the early AM hours.

• No ventilation in the bathroom, parking is heavily overpriced, $18.00 a night is too much. They are in the hotel business not the parking business.

“I would stay here again, though the parking for guest is out of line. Staff were very attentive and polite.”

• The location was excellent. The room was exceptionally quiet & beautifully maintained.

“The Hilton Milwaukee City Center is a beautiful hotel conveniently situated within easy walking distance of many downtown destinations. Parking in the adjacent ramp is convenient, with access directly to the hotel lobby from the second level of the ramp. My only complaint is that my schedule permitted only a one night stay.”

• Beautiful lobby, amd the desk clerk gave us free admissions to the water park.
• The concierge knew very little, and the gift shop was hidden in a temporary location.

“Beautiful old architecture, gorgeous ballrooms to peek in on, and a pretty good location, close to the Milwaukee Public Museum. The tourist trolley stops right out front. The room was kind of small, but comfortable. There is an urban shopping mall one block away. The water park was only entertaining for small children.”

• It was so easy to find things to do with the location of the hotel. The people who work at the hotel are very helpful.
• The $18.00 overnight garage fee! This will probably stop us from ever staying at the Hilton in downtown MI again.

• Staff was helpful in removing invalild phone and breakfast charges on bill.
• Didn't use phone or get breakfast, but there were charges on bill. Staff removed them without trouble.
