“Great location - close to airport. I expected it to be cleaner and better maintained. Needs a lot of work.” Aug 23, 2005 by
Lynn from St Johnsbury, VT
“I was extremely disappointed in the upkeep of the hotel. Clean enough, but very much out of date. Pool door by elevator, water on floor and in elevator, broken elevator. Weird smell. Would not stay there again.” Aug 23, 2005 by
Beverly B. from Moxee, WA
“Nice place and a great price for a place to just lay our heads for 8 hours and then leave. They were the fastest check in I have ever had.ALl the paper work was there and it was fast.” Aug 22, 2005 by
Rick from Falls Church, VA “Much lower quality than many other 2-star hotels that I've stayed in.” Aug 20, 2005 by
Steve from Alhambra, IL
“In general, a nice place to stay. Good location, friendly folks, more than adequate parking. Only minor drawback was general interior maintenance. I don't mean big things - I mean little things. For example, a loose fixture in bathroom, minor wallpaper peeling, etc..” Aug 19, 2005 by
Deborah from Mount Dora, FL
“Motel needs to go thru a renovation...I would not have stayed at this place, definitely not a 2 star hotel” Aug 19, 2005 by
Cheryl from Manitowoc, WI
“Good location. Right off highway. Near restaurants. Friendly staff. Room was bigger than I expected.” Aug 18, 2005 by
Crystal from Winona, MN “Great stay for the money!! It was Summerfest weekend and the hotel we stayed at was convienient and safe. There was also a park and ride very close!!” Aug 17, 2005 by
Michael from Denver, CO
“The Ramada Inn was convenient for my business needs, the staff were friendly and helpful. However, the place is a bit rundown and shabby. It could use a good scrubbing and some fresh paint, the hotels in the immediate area outshine it with their better maintenance.” Aug 8, 2005 by
Tom from Nashville
“This hotel had a number of significant problems which nearly surmounted any benefits gained by the reduced rate. There was much need for cosmetic (and some structural) repair in this none too gently aging building. The walls are thin and afford the visitor an excellent opportunity to hear the staccato banging of any neighboring headboards with great clarity. The charmless front desk staff seemed generally uninformed but resolutely sought to disguise this fact by offering little voluntary assistance. Evidently all involved take the "no frills" approach quite seriously and, to that end, succeed marvelously.” Aug 8, 2005 by
Tom from Nashville, TN
“ There is obvious evidence that this is an aging building in need of general restoration. The walls are thin enough to admit sound from rooms above. Front desk staff were generally uninformed and not entirely helpful. We might consider staying here again if management had addressed some of these not insignificant problems.” Aug 8, 2005 by
Juarlyn from Milwaukee, WI
“Overall this hotel was ok for the money I paid. I just didn't like the fact that there was no microwave or refrigerator. Clean place. Gas stations and food places really close. Cozy feel. Would probably stay there again for the price but, not a penny more.” Aug 4, 2005 by
Brett from Linden, MI
“I would never pay full price to stay there. It was still decorated like it was 1975. Green tile in the bathroom with an orange shower curtain.” Aug 2, 2005 by
Matt from Clintonville, WI
“Hotel Claimed to be 2 star, but we've stayed in Budget motels that are quite similar. The mold on the shower curtain was really the clincher!” Jul 31, 2005 by
Jan from Northfield, MN
“This hotel was okay for a brief one night stay but I wouldn't necessarily want to return there. The room was okay, but the hallways and lobby floors were dirty, and the window in our room still had sticky fingerprints from the last guests. The person at the front desk was very helpful, though, so that was a definite positive.” Jul 29, 2005 by
Erica from Lansing, IA
“The staff was not helpful, they wouldn't give us a luggage cart when we left because they were using it behind the front desk. Our bathtub drain didn't work, they promised to fix it, but didn't. They didn't clean our room at all, when I called to tell them, they said they were sold out and had no one to clean it!!!! It was a terrible experience and I hope that particular hotel goes under, they deserve to!!!! It was the worst hotel chain I've ever stayed at!!!” Jul 28, 2005 by
Phil from Reno, NV
“Ramada Inn South in Milwaukee is in dire need of renovation(s). The carpets in the hallway and rooms were old and dirty. Our room had strong odor (probably from too many smokers.) I was not impressed with the friendliness (or lack there of) of the staff. Location is convenient with close proximity to airport and downtown. Although the price was right, I would not stay at this location again nor could I recommend this hotel to anyone.” Jul 26, 2005 by
Brian from Naperville, IL
“The hotel was rundown and in disrepair. To say I was disappointed does not go far enough.” Jul 21, 2005 by
Diana from Copley, OH
“The hotel was extremely old and needs serious remodeling, bugs were in the room, room not vacuumed, room wasnt cleaned in the evening, beds were hard as a rock, and the hotel check in clerk was very nasty and unfriendly. also, this hotel also was a party center for foreign people and had parties every night. this hotel was the dumps and i shouldnt have to have payed such a high price for that run down hotel.” Jul 21, 2005 by
Laura from Dubuque, IA
“Overall, my children and I enjoyed our stay at this Ramada Inn. We used the pool and whirlpool, watched TV and were able to relax. It had a restaurant within the hotel (however, we did not eat there), which is handy.” Jul 21, 2005 by
Linda from Macedonia, OH
“I would NEVER choose to stay at this hotel ever again. Was VERY uncomfortable the whole time I had to stay there (one night). ” Jun 29, 2005 by
Kevin from Woodbury, MN
“It was inexpensive and was east to get too. Thier are many restaurants and stores nearby. The hotel did show some wear and tear.” Jun 27, 2005 by
Joseph from Dunbar, WI
“It was obvious this was an old hotel and they didn't put much money back into the up keep of rooms i.e. matresses, linens, lights, and furniture.” May 31, 2005 by
Edward from Tripoli, WI
“tired older hotel much in need of upgrade. front desk personnel also in need of upgrade.” May 30, 2005 by
G from Red Bay, AL
“Showers run from ice cold to scalding hot. There is no consistency in the water pressure. The drains, sink and tub, would not drain all day. I called for some Draino and it clogged up again the next day. The carpets and bedsheets were not clean.” May 22, 2005 by
Sue from Wausau, WI
“This hotel did not meet the high quality usually found in hotels we have stayed at.” May 21, 2005 by
Robert. from Cincinnati, OH
“Good location, somewhat mediocre. Did have good TV quality & number of channels. NO HBO or Showtime.” Hotel Representatives:
