• Right in front of the mall & close to freeways.
• Not very good in keeping premises clean.

“Decent sized rooms, friendly staff. I was given a smoking room (which stank) despite requesting a non smoking room. It seems really noisy on weekends.”

• Beds were great for sleeping.
• I didn't notice a computer to use for free Internet to check my email.

“Great hotel! Loved every minute. I really like the hotels that have temperature control dials rather than individual heater/air conditioner units right in the room. The individual units run constantly and are noisy. Very clean hotel. It was very easy to get a good night's sleep here. The mall across the street made it convenient to go grab a bite to eat.”

• Great value and very comfortable.
• Loud children! we were surrounded.

“Beautiful hotel. Fitness center and pool or hot tub area was well equipped and very spacious. I appreciated the attention to details, i.e., iced lime water and banana chips in fitness center. The hot tub was exceptionally spacious and when we commented about the temperature of the pool, the attendant called to have it adjusted immediately.”

• It was in a great location.
• Staff was not very friendly at check in.

“Even though the staff wasn't friendly when we checked in, maybe having a bad day. The staff on check out was very friendly. At one point I noticed food on the carpet in the middle of our hall. I went downstairs and told the staff so it wouldn't get ground into the carpet and wouldn't be all over the rest of the carpet. After going to get coffee and reading my book for a bit I decided to go read my book in the chair by our floor's elevator. The food was still there. I ended up warning several people about it so they didn't roll their suitcases through it or step in it. So after a bit I returned downstairs and reminded the person about it. Someone very quickly went and cleaned up the mess. The beds in this hotel are extremely comfortable.”

• Big comfy rooms.
• The hallways, minor dirt, needs paint.

“This is a very nice hotel, it's staffed with very friendly people and the rooms are quite big and comfortable. It is also very well located (across the street from the Oakbrook Mall). Overall a very good experience.”

• Location, Starbucks on property, lobby was nice.
• Room without view (small windows overlooking roof of wing to hotel), remodelling of property made access confusing

• Although under renovation, very well kept and clean.
• Trouble with the phone system sending calls directly to voicemail even after maintenence came to repair it.

“Very safe and nice area. Hotel itself offered lots of amenities and surrounded by restaurants and shopping. Room was very clean and exceeded my expectations. ”

• The motel sign(s) were in a hard to find place

• Location is excellent, many high end restaurants nearby & shopping.
• Understaffed at front desk pantry. I and 2 other guests had to wait over 30 minutes to purchase products.

“Mariott Oakbrook is a very high quality hotel. Across the street is a high end shopping mall as well as several very nice restaurants. I partook of several during my stay and would be pleased to stay at this hotel again in the future.”

• I liked the location because it was right next to a shopping mall.
• My Room was not cleaned for two days in a row until I asked ...after 5:00 p.m.

• Very clean.
• The beds were not as comfortable as I had hoped for.

• spacious pool area exercise room
• There was a large, noisy convention the night I checked in.

“Very accomodating staff at check-in, placing me on the 12th floor because of the noisy convention. Wonderful work-out and pool area, well equipted. Very nice, all-hour room service options. Welcomed help in locating shops I needed at Oak Brook mall. I would definately stay again if I had a choice.”

• The room service was fast and great.
• The sign for the hotel could not be seen from the direction I was coming from.

• Rooms were very nice and so was the pool and workout center
• Call ahead and asked for close rooms with king beds did not have my info in computer. We were far away from each other.

• Outstanding service, location, and quality!

“This hotel was perfectly located next to Oak Brook Center Mall, a great outdoor-indoor mall, and real closed to Brookfield Zoo. The staff was very accomodating and friendly to our needs. It also has a wonderful indoor pool which was great for the kids. And Luxury was present through out the hotel. I was very pleased with my stay at the Marriott”

• Convenient, quiet, spacious, attractive.
• The carpeting, wall paper, and some of the furnishing need replacing. However, I believe they are in the process of refurbishing the rooms.

“Since I frequently travel to the Chicago area, I plan on staying at the hotel making my reservations.”

• The location is wonderful. The parking is free
• Rooms are small

• Rooms are very dated, small bathroom. Nearby Hampton has much better rooms.

“Rooms need major update. Lobby okay. I find it hard to accept they charge for high speed internet while lower priced hotels don't.”
