“I enjoyed my stay there tremendously. The staff was very friendly, the hotel was attractive and clean, and the free breakfast was excellent.” Sep 15, 2008 by

“Needs a lot of work on walls and ceilings, and could be cleaned better.” Aug 31, 2008 by
Shanna from Columbia City, IN
“The hotel was very clean and quiet. Having our pet with us is very important to us. We look for hotels that allow pets. The breakfast was great too!” Jun 25, 2008 by
“Hotel with good amenities, friendly staff - it was homely, not so fancy, but I was satisfied with the condition of the hotel and pleasantly surprised by all the bonuses.” Jun 16, 2008 by
Pam from Springfield, IL
“The hotel was conveniently located to dining establishments and shopping centers. The room had an undifined odor but I went out and bought a candle. The furniture was worn with tears in spots. The bathroom was tiny. Overall for the money and location it was a good place to stay.” Aug 6, 2006 by
Mike from Faribault, MN
“I did not like the room layout as much as at Amerisuites in Grand Rapids MI where the bathroom is between the living/office room and sleeping area with a TV in each area.” Jun 5, 2006 by
Valerie from Arlington Heights, IL
“This was my second stay in the Amerisuites in Arlington Heights, and once again I was extremely pleased with my stay. The hotel is immaculate, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the beds are heavenly to sleep in. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who asks!!” Jun 5, 2006 by
Carol from Baraboo, WI
“This hotel far exceeded my expectations. The rooms were like new, absolutely spotless, with very attractive decor. I told the concierge that my stay was absolutely delightful!” Jun 1, 2006 by
Mary from Ozark, MO
“Over all the hotel is very good.” May 30, 2006 by
William from Matthews, NC
“Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean, although the word "suite" is pushing it. Definitely recommended.” May 30, 2006 by
Caryl from Rochester, MN
“Easy location. Near many restaurants. Nice breakfast buffet, although many dishes ran out and took awhile to get them refilled. Nice sized rooms.” May 29, 2006 by
Steve from Cerritos, CA
“Have to get rental car to stay here. But nice hotel.” May 27, 2006 by
Ted from Verona, WI
“As always at this location, fewer channels than the basic cable I had growing up and one is all Japanese all the time (admittedly a popular hotel for Asians visiting Chicago, so no problem with that). But there's no FOX NEWS but there IS CNN and PBS. Obviously, the manager at this place is a flaming Liberal who likes his/her news and commentary "Hillariesque" (the new "Clintonesque"). Oh, yeah this was the first time I had to take my eggs and sausage back to my room. My fellow guests ate and then stayed to read the paper. A polite hint from staff to eat and leave (move to the sofa or chairs, but away from the tables) would be a nice touch.” May 9, 2006 by
Ewa from Urbandale, IA
“Nice and clean” May 5, 2006 by
Ted from Verona, WI
“I drive a great distance further to stay here than, say, in Skokie...for the breakfast and in-room fridge and microwave. But the TV channel selection really sucks! CNN, but no Fox News. A 100% Japanese language channel, but very little sports programming. The only channel I care to watch is TNT for back to back episodes of Law & Order, but with the NBA playoffs, I have to settle for a really lopsided game between Memphis and San Antonio. Wow. Great. All I want to do is fall asleep and wake up for the scrambled eggs and sausage. (Why is it that the cheapest places like Motel 6 get 50 channels and AmeriSuites gets about 10?” Apr 20, 2006 by
Dan from Waterloo, ON CA
“Suite not as large as I had hoped and temperature hard to adequately control. In effort to save on water, toilets tanks seemed to be half full and took more than one flush to do the job. Ultimately, not that energy efficient.” Apr 15, 2006 by
Evie from Sun Prairie, WI
“The hotel was nice, the room was spacious. The high speed internet could have been a little stronger. Also, the water temperature of the shower the second morning was not good. It was so hot we couldn't use the shower. Even after turning the dial to cold for over 5 minutes. When I told the person at the front desk upon checkout, she didn't seem to really care too much and made a comment like she didn't believe me.” Apr 15, 2006 by
Ted from Verona, WI
“Although I was working with downtown clients both days, I purposely searched Arlington Heights so I would get AmeriSuites. When I had to stay an extra night for a Buffalo Grove client a couple months ago, I stayed at the AmeriSuites for the first time and, just restarting the Atkins Diet at the time, loved the scrambled eggs and sausage...particularly because I had used up my hardboiled eggs already per my previously-scheduled, but now extended, time away from home (low-crab) cooking. As long as AmeriSuites keeps making eggs and sausage. I will visit Arlington Heights for every Chicago trip and anxiously await every morning between 6:30 and 9:30 a.m.!” Apr 10, 2006 by
Bev from North Topsail Beach, NC
“Staff at front desk went above and beyond by charging my car phone in the hotel van for me. I had a rental car with a malfunctioning cigarette lighter and was unable to recharge it myself.” Apr 3, 2006 by
Connie from Bloomington, IL
“The hotel provided what was needed for our stay. I would not stay in this hotel for a longer period of time. Furnishing and comfort were poor.” Apr 1, 2006 by
Carol from Ottawa, IL
“Lobby clean and updated, good breakfast. Rooms are good size. Beds are not as comfortable (new) as I would like. Overall a good experience.” Mar 25, 2006 by
Baek J. from Champaign, IL
“I think this is good business travelers hotel. Location and amenities are good but not very romantic for lovers. I agree that family would like this hotel because they could save the money with breakfast.” Mar 24, 2006 by
Jason from Princeton, MN
“The hotel is nice, clean and a great value.” Mar 5, 2006 by
Joon from Farmington Hills, MI
“It was better than I expected. The complementary breakfast was good too.” Mar 3, 2006 by
Jennifer from St Joseph, MI
“Excellent location. Check in was simple. Fantastic room. Very accommodating staff.” Mar 1, 2006 by
Iris from Urbana, IL
“Breakfast is pretty good. Clean room. Good location.” Mar 1, 2006 by
Jiabin from St. Louis, MO
“Good service, low fare, convenient, quiet, close to shopping centers, mall and highway. 10 minutes to Chicago O'Hare Airport. Plus, the hotel also provides free breakfast, indoor pool, laundry and gym facilities. Highly recommended.” Feb 27, 2006 by
Dale from Grandville, MI
“The room I was in obviously hadn't been used for a while as evidenced by the ring of mold or bacteria growing in the toilet with someone else's hair attached to it. There was also a dripping leak from the toilet water supply line that made a puddle along the floor from the toilet to the tub. Except for this and charging for local calls, all was well, and I would stay at this location again.” Feb 22, 2006 by
Robert from Newport News, VA
“Overall, winning team. Great, friendly service. I would stay again in a heart beat.” Feb 21, 2006 by
Cyndi from Marcellus, MI
“We were very satisfied with our stay at this hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff very friendly. Well worth the price!” Feb 20, 2006 by
Ted from Verona, WI
“Quite a distance from Buffalo Grove, but very direct route. The breakfast was really good. The microwave was rather small and old (no turntable and timer dial), but the fridge was quite adequate. Surprised to see no sink in kitchenette. Not a very good selection of TV channels, particularly on a bad night of programming. If not for the Marquette-George Washington BB game, I'd have had to go to bed at 8 from boredom. Junk the all-Chinese channel for Fox news.” Feb 12, 2006 by
Wallace from Lucasville, OH
“This is one of the finest hotels in the area better than I expected. I will return.” Nov 16, 2005 by
Susan from Hartland, WI
“Overall good location, friendly staff, terrific breakfast. Maid service wasn't the best, items used were not replenished.”
