• No wireless internet and outdated rooms, furnishings.

“This was a nice hotel that the kids enjoyed. The atrium was very nice and we all enjoyed something to drink and a snack in the evening and a very nice selection at breakfast, worth getting up for. The pool was also very attractive, clean, but not quite as warm as other pools in spite of the warmer outside weather. The location was good for shopping, had to drive to get mass transit into the city. We¿d repeat this hotel trip.”

• Incredible price - we'd stay here at twice the price!
• Several families had a herd of unruly children - parents' fault - not the hotels.

“This was our first stay at an embassy suites hotel. I'm telling all of our friends about it. We'd definitely stay at an embassy suite again. The cooked-to-order breakfast was one of the best ever. Sure beats the other hotels at the same price!”

• They wouldn't find a do not disturb sign for my door, and the amenities in the room could be updated.

• Starting to look worn out at the edges.

“Shopping, movie theaters, loads of restaurants across street. Easy to get to downtown Chicago in about 25 minutes by car. Very accommodating staff even though somewhat inexperienced.”

• I like the fact that the Hotel offers a full free complimentary breakfast.
• I didn't like that as a guest I could not find out about late checkout until the morning of. It would have been helpful to find out the night before.

“This hotel is very nice and very user friendly. I also like the appearance of the lobby and the garden-like atrium. The rooms are also very spacious with nice views of the city. If given the opportunity I will return to this hotel.”

• Everything was great and I wish I could have stayed there longer after I renewed my stay.
• Only thing I didn't like was that I thought I should have gotten more then six wings for $13.25.

“Its a great hotel to stay at on business and or vacation. Its like a mini resort the only thing u will have to leave the hotel for is sight seeing. The landscaping was fantastic and the people were so friendly I had a lot of fun.”

• Suites have two TV's two separate rooms in suites.
• I wasn't asked if I wanted smoking or non, I was first in smoking then in wheel chair accessible then in a reg room 3's the charm!!!

“This hotel is fine but seems the rooms are in need of a freshen up with more than just pillows there is an "old funky smell" that was in all three of the rooms we were directed to, they can really do better.”

• The lobby area of the hotel was beautiful with an atrium and live fish. My two year old son loved watching the fish.
• The Manager's Reception was not what we expected. We thought hot appetizers would be provided, but only broken up chips and drinks.

“This hotel was nice, but it is an older hotel so the rooms aren't real "sparkly" and the carpet is pretty worn. The pool area was very nice, as well as the lobby with all the plants and fish. The location was wonderful, right in the heart of all the shopping. They made to order breakfast was awesome!”

• The continental breakfast is the best.
• The pool was a bit chilly, but we warmed up in the hot tub.

“This is a wonderfully located hotel if you need access to downtown Chicago. The traffic isn't too bad and it's close to a mall, get those kids out of the car for a stretch. We love the room set up. We can put the kids down and have some time to ourselves in the living room area. The breakfast is wonderful with not just a basic continental breakfast, but including an omelet chef as well. The pool is a bit chilly, but we warmed up in the hot tub. The TV channels are limited, but that's ok for us. The kids love to walk in the atrium and cross the bridge observing the fish in the stream. Overall we have been very pleased both times we have stayed at this location.”

• It was convenient, beautiful, comfortable and made to order breakfast was an exceptional bonus! Access to the computers was also a nice bonus.
• There wasn't anything.

“My stay was exceptional. The hotel exceeded my expectations, not only with its convenience of location, its superb rooms, and pool area but the made to order breakfast, the happy hour and the access to computers for directions or looking up local attractions were outstanding bonuses!”

• Very nice decor both inside and outside of the room. Internet available is a nice touch. Room size is large.
• I hope that they have kids channel in the TV as other hotels do. Pillow not that good.

• Antonia, working at breakfast, smiled so pretty and helped by taking our picture.
• Only visible from sitting in the tub, I could see the toilet could use further cleaning.

“Easy to get to. Close to shopping and restaurants. Parking easy and close. Beautiful atrium, staff appropriately friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious! I especially liked the water feature in the atrium. It made it possible to have a conversation there without the sound carrying throughout the area.”
