• Very clean and was very modern.

“The hotel was pleasant and comfortable. The only thing I was unsure of was breakfast. A lot of hotels offer continental breakfast and I didn't see any signs indicating there was a continental breakfast available at this hotel. There were signs indicating a restaurant and in the morning it was set up as a continental buffet (the same items i.e. cereal, fruit, waffles, etc), but it was located in a corner as if it was only for employees and no where was it specified that it was included nor did the staff indicate. This is the only reason why I didn't give the staff a 10 on friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely return in the future!”

• You could park and enter at different locations.
• I think it was too far off the main highway.

“It was a nice clean hotel with a friendly helpful staff and I would stay here again. I will tell my friends about it because overall our stay was enjoyable.”

• Beds were great.
• Bad delivery food and bad desk worker.

“The room was great, but the menus that they put in the rooms for guests to order are terrible. I ordered twice and the food was terrible. I complained to the front desk person and she said she liked the quality of the food. She should have said she was sorry we were not happy and she was somewhat rude. That I did not like!”

• New decor, excellent staff - many of who remembered us from a prior visit.

“Excellent value - pleasant decor, impeccably clean. We have stayed here several times (my in-laws live near by) and it is always comfortable and the staff is friendly. The care that is taken in keeping this hotel in good repair seems to be exceptional - it is far better than other hotels of this type (including other Courtyards). We visit only a couple times a year, yet the staff (many of which have been there for 10 years or so) remember us - which is kind of nice.”

• It was very clean.
• Misleading about breakfast, intentional or not.

“The website description of breakfast is vague and can be easily misconstrued. Also, the "restaurant" is deceivingly unlike a restaurant and no prices are posted. We ended up paying about $20 for breakfast that we thought was included, as, apparently did many others as we heard the hostess declare in the kitchen. It is hard to say if this is intentionally deceptive or not (on the website and at the hotel), but it put the wet towel on our experience at this hotel. It was overall very clean though.”

• The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and appealing.
• The signage to locate the hotel, from the main road was nonexistant. They really should remedy this. Thank goodness for mapquest.

“The hotel is conveniently located with access to major highways. The staff is efficient and courteous. Room and lobby was very clean. Breakfast is a nice touch. I would stay here again!”

• The staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very well kept.
• It was a little hard to find. It was off the main highway on a frontage road.

“We had a very pleasant stay. It was hard to find, but once we were there, the staff was helpful and friendly and the rooms and lobby were clean and well kept.”

• The restaurent inside the hotel is very nice.
• The mattresses are getting lumpy and it would be nice for the restaurent buffet to be open other times than just the a.m.

“The hotel setting is very pleasant in an urban area with easy access to main arteries. The staff is friendly and accomadating. The a.m. buffet is delicious with a wide variety of choices.”

• Very clean and maintained. Pool was great. Staff was friendly.

“The Courtyard by Marriott was a very nice hotel and was conveniently located near the Hwy. The staff was polite. The kids loved the pool. The breakfast buffet was superb. I only wish I knew it cost an add'l $10 per person.”

“The Courtyard (Arlington Heights) was a wonderful hotel. It was nice, clean (we didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel) and comfortable. The location was great. The only thing that I didn't like, is that the restaurant was closed most of the time. For the money, I am totally satisfied. The clerks were very friendly making checking in and out as simple as possible.”
