• It's location was conveniently located for the gathering we attended.
• The room location (6th floor far end of hall) made carrying luggage difficult.

“The room was roomy, bright and clean with an impressive view of the Fox River. My wife and I enjoyed the walking trail next to the river. A good bargain for us senior citizens.”

• There was a Sports Bar on the corner.
• My room was on a smoking floor.

• The lobby was neat and nicely decorated, and the wait staff in the restaurant were very attentive.
• The bathroom drain ran very slow, the AC was noisy, there was hair on the shower wall, and no bag for the ice bucket.

“The hotel was listed as a three star. It was at best a two star. The rooms are small, drab, and way overpriced.”

• Better maintenance in the bathrooms.

“I still like the location. For the most part still comfortable. However the room I was in needs some up dating and maintenance. It was still comfortable and clean.”

• Nice pool area and laundry facility.
• Pool had black algae.

• Comfortable, clean, had a sofa as well as a bed.

“I was greeted professionaly at the front desk and given a room with a river view. The room was clean and well stocked. Location is right downtown.”

• The room I stayed in overlooked the river and was automatically non-smoking.
• I did not like the hotel restaurant.

“I really liked my stay, but I did not like the hotel restaurant. I ordered a small breakfast (a bagel with cream cheese and hash browns with cheese), but it took more than 15 minutes to be brought to my table. The waitress did not check on me, did not bring me water, and I waited almost 20 minutes for my check after I was done eating. As far as the hotel, the staff was friendly, helpful, and made my stay pleasant. I enjoyed being put in a room overlooking the river. This hotel was close to several great restaurants, and short drives to my family that live in the area.”

• Good parking!
• Woke up to discover partiers trying our door!

“Overall our stay was satisfactory. Had a smoking room but was able to use air conditioner to vent my cigarette so smell wasn't too bad (I would prefer a balcony outside the room). Staff was great, friendly, and helpful with driving directions. Overall - for the price, I guess it was an okay hotel.”

• Close to Coaches Bar and Grill.

“The property is in the downtown section of Green Bay by the Fox River with an easy route to the airport. For late night arrivals Coaches Bar and Grill is very close and they serve until midnight.”

• The staff at this hotel was very friendly and helpful.
• Hotel is old and a bit run down. Rooms are not very nice.

“This hotel is ok if all your looking for a room to stay in. Their is not much going on in downtown hotel so location is not very good. This hotel is old and the rooms are a bit run down. Bed is not comfortable and the pull out bed in the couch was absolutely unusable (mattress was completely worn out and you could feel the metal bar in your back). I ended up just sleeping on the couch itself and let my wife and kids have the bed. This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and it hasn't gotten any better. The restaurant in the hotel is very pricey if you are staying with kids and there is not much else family friendly near by.”

• I loved the view of the bay!
• The restaurant/bar closed at 9. What?

“My honey and I really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again. The rooms were very clean and the beds were super comfortable. The best thing about the room was the view we had of the bay - it was very romantic!”

• Breakfast delivered to our room.
• Pool was cloudy, no towels, dirty room, no cots.

“The hotel was not at all what we had expected. When we put it for a 3 star hotel (3 being the high-test) it was anything but. We were very disappointed. The room smelled, the chair had 2 holes in it. The hotel did not have any cots, towels for the pool or extra towels for our showers. The pool was cloudy and not clean. We were afraid to let the kids swim. If I paid the hotel directly, I would have demanded a refund and went somewhere else.”

• Convenient location, great pillows and the staff made a nice gesture - they upgraded us to a better room.
• Layout was a little funky with the restaurant right there as you walk in the doors.

• Great staff, good location in downtown and
  next to Fox River.

“Holiday Inn in downtown Green Bay is an older, but well-maintained 3-star type hotel. Located on the Fox River, there is a scenic river walk right in front of the hotel. It has a good restaurant and an inside swimming pool/hot tube. My kids really liked the pool. The staff was great, very helpful. Their breakfast was excellent.”

• They were very accommodating to allow me to extend my stay without issue.
• It could use some updating. There is a smell.

• The hot tub was terrible as well as the sauNA

“Will not go back as they did not offer a price reduction do to the hot tub temperature only being 85 degrees.”

• The Front Service desk very friendly and helpful.
• The outside noise clearly can be heard inside of the room.

• It was different than a hotel, it was more like a condo.
• It had a few things that needed to be repaired.
