• Whirlpool jets at odd angle.

• Rooms were a bit outdated and smelled a bit musty.

“Friday night was great. Room was fabulous. Fireplace/house sized refrigerator/stove - comfortable bed. Loved it. Saturday night was an absolute nightmare! Underage party all night. Total lack of sleep.”

• I enjoyed breakfast.

“This hotel was an old apartment complex turned into a hotel. Walls were very thin and the noise went right through them. We had to walk outside in poor weather conditions to get to our room which was on the second floor of this apartment complex. Stairs were icy and no elevator.”

“The hotel is fine for one person looking for no extras. It is unremarkable. It is very clean and the staff is friendly. The pool is outdoors and small and only open in the summer.”

• I loved the privacy of the rooms. It felt more like a home, than a hotel room.
• It would be difficult if I was in a wheelchair to get around the hotel.

“I stay at 30 different hotels each year, for the past 5 years and this was one of my favorite hotels. It reminded me of renting a condo in Colorado. Private entrance, fireplace, great breakfast the next day and very friendly staff. It ended up being my favorite romantic getaway and it was right in my own backyard!”

• Spacious room with kitchen facilities. Soft sheets and towels.
• Outside was under construction.

“The Residence Inn, Green Bay was a perfect place to stay over a holiday weekend. There were no business travelers present, there did seem to be some groups of young people (student groups?) and families. Many people enjoyed the outdoor pool till 9 at night, but I could not hear the noise in my room. My room was very comfortable. The kitchen facilities were a nice extra. The hotel was perfect for my stay which was just a stopover. Please note: the Residence Inn is actually in Allouez not Greenbay. It is just over the border, but this confused me when I tried to find the hotel.”

• I really liked the unique layout of the room and the full kitchen.
• I only wish that there were more pillows that weren't down, since Im allergic.

“Everything was perfect. The staff was so nice and the check-in was lightening fast. I've never felt so welcome at a hotel, it was great. The room was perfect. Clean and quiet. I highly recommend this hotel!”

• Very friendly and helpful with directions to other locations such as shopping and dining/gas stations.
• Kids in the pool after 9:00, it should be adults only after 9:00.

“It was very fast to check in. The desk was very helpful with directions to everyone who asked. The extra large breakfast that they served was a nice start to anyone's morning. I would stay here again when I visit this area.”

• Hotel that badly needs an update including safety repairs.
• Murphy bed broke.

“Good staff, good breakfast, good pool area, nice laundry facilities. Handrails need paint to prevent slivers of wood getting into hands. Pool area has railings that need re-anchoring. Many minor issues with safety due to the fact the hotel need an update. The Murphy bed in my room gave way and almost hit me in the head.”

• It was clean, bed was comfortable and bathroom was large & clean.
• No indoor pool, in the winter would miss that.

• It was like an apartment. Rooms smelt like smoke.

“It was a hassle finding this place being from out of town. It leads me to the middle of a neighborhood across town. I hope this direction issue is fixed soon so the next person using it doesn't get lost and frustrated.”

• I loved the fireplace, kitchen and luxury linens and bedding.
• That it did not have a pool or hot tub for the winter months.

“It was a wonderful surprise when we walked into the hotel room and found it to be so clean! the wood burning fireplace was also a surprise. we loved the breakfast the next morning. it overall was a wonderful hotel stay for us.”

• The hotel reminded me of home. I didn't want to leave.
• No housekeeping offered.

“The hotel itself was great. The room was extremely clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel offered several services which made the stay seem like home. The hotel also has a hot breakfast which was tasty.”

• Attention to detail, ex - microwavable popcorn, mint jar.
• Maintenance issues, 1stroom no A/C, 2nd room toilet/shower issues

“I was very impressed by this hotel. Due to the A/C not working I experienced 2 rooms. The first was a standard with an amazing bathroom, nice bed, good size kitchen and living room. In both rooms the desk triples as an extra kitchen prep table and a dining table. The hotel really thought about the guests needs and has some really convenient items such as the power strip and internet access plugs built right into the desk. The second room was a double queen suite. This is the most spacious hotel room I have ever experienced, it's about the size of a mid-sized apartment. The staff even provides a grocery list for you to submit and have groceries delivered and billed to your room, however you won't need to buy and breakfast items because the complimentary breakfast was delicious. If my boyfriend and I went to a discount economy hotel and out to breakfast we would have paid more than the inclusive price we got. This is my first experience and despite a few maintenance issues I am a very pleased customer.”

• Some things in disrepair and the AC didn't work.

“Generally, the room was very comfortable and inviting. A couple things in the room were in disrepair, but worst, the air conditioning didn't work. The desk said that was a common complaint for that day (they didn't say why). There was no solution either. It was a very good stay, except for that significant problem.”

• I loved the spacious studio suite & its comfortable for a long or short term stay.
• The swimming facilities are located outside.

“I had my mother, sister and grandmother staying with me. In a suite with one bed and pull out couch, in which the mattress was dirty. Overall the stay was pleasant and thank you for your services.”

• Clean, spacious, and comfortable, able to support short stays as well as extended ones.
• Walls and floors are somewhat thin, can hear neighbors relatively easily.

“This spot is tucked away from the main downtown section of Green Bay, though just across the Fox River from anything you might need. A short walk in one direction takes you to the riverfront trails; the other direction takes you to a local pub and restaurant. The staff are courteous and solicitous, the complimentary breakfast buffet is filling, and the rooms have just about everything you need to make your stay pleasant and worthwhile.”

• Room was beautiful and staff excellent.
• Too far away from anything, nothing to do.

“The hotel itself is great for just sleeping, but we were looking for a hotel where we could eat, have pool, hot tub etc.. Also we were looking for a bar and restaurant, actually a place where we could have fun, drink and not worry about driving. My husband and I take a mini vacation, once a month from our stressful jobs and would like to let our hair down, the moment I seen this hotel, I knew that we would have to make the best out of a not so good hotel stay...”

“Overall, this was a nice hotel. I wouldn't pay what they were offering it as. The room needed some fixing up. It had broken tile and also in the closet were the hot water tank is was disgusting. All in All it was a nice place. I would recommend it to friends.”

• 2.5 star hotel with no pool? (indoors).

“Almost everything was perfect. although my husband made a very obvious joke about us being loud to the front desk clerk and almost immediately she had a "no party contract" for us to sign. I was a little offended. we are in our 40s! Then when we got to our room there was a dog in the room next to us barking for at least an hour. I wonder what they were asked to sign? We would stay again though.”

“The hotel was very nice and had large rooms with fireplaces, and I arrived at about 4 am and they have a little store right behind the front desk, I did not have to leave to go to the store. I bought a pizza and cooked it in my room.”

• Continental Breakfast was incredible.
• Advertised pool, hot tub and business center. It did not have any available.

“I was disappointed in the hotel because when you visit a cold state like Wisconsin, you would assume that the advertised pool and hot tub would be inside. The pool and hot tub was outside and were both drained for the winter. Also, a business center was advertised but when I got there and asked about it, they did not have one. They had internet connection in the room but I did not bring my laptop because I thought I would just use the business center instead.”

• It felt more like a condo than a hotel, very homey.
• Unit could have used some minor repairs in the bathroom.

“Very nice, as stated earlier very homey feeling, even had a fireplace. No noise was heard from the neighbors. Excellent breakfast. Staff was great and friendly. The quality that I have come to expect from a Marriott property.”

• Unique to the Residence Inn is the availability of the kitchen with all the wares.
• The shower was a little low on water pressure, probably from the type of shower head used.

“It's similar to renting out a furnished apartment for a few nights. Will definitely reserve again in the future.”

• Air conditioning did not work. Got new room.

“The Mariott Extended Stay experience was all in all fine. With a bit more overall caretaking prior to selling rooms, this would definitely be a great mainstay for travelers to Green Bay for both long and short stays. Unfortunately, my first room did not have a functioning air conditioning unit, so I had to switch rooms. The second room did not have a functioning micro wave. These things should be checked out prior to having guests stay. While the initial issue was solved by a room switch, it was an inconvenience nonetheless.”

“The room was great, the pool was super. Clean and bright. Shower was awful, no pressure and could not get hot enough. Spoke to front desk clerk who was very accommodating and apologetic. Hopefully, maintenance can repair/replace water heater.”
