• Staff very friendly and helpful.
• Shower was broken in room.

“Very nice staff. Room clean and neat. Shower broken but staff quickly changed us to another room. Good room for the price considering it is near Chicago. Cub Fans bus to Wrigley close by, runs to stadium 2.5 hours before game.”

• Very small bathroom, area used for continental breakfast was too small; could not get around people, tables.

• Hotel & room was clean & beautiful, excellent location, exceeded my expectations.
• Orange juice machine was broken for first morning.

“My wife & I stay in several hotels throughout the year, different cities, Our stay at La Quinta was delightful, Room was clean, spacious & quiet. Ice machines were conveniently located. Housekeeping did an excellent job of keeping room straight. Very satisfied.”

• Nice and convenient to 2 Mall-type facilities and to Ikea. First visit to Ikea and loved it being so close to our hotel!
• Maybe have a detailed map showing customer's how to get to the Chicago area when choosing not to travel by highway. Printed detailed map.

“My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed staying in this Hotel. We loved that it was convenient to 2 Malls and to Ikea. We loved the spacious bathroom and the closet space, and the fact that the room had a recliner in it.”

• The woman at the front desk was very friendly and also gave recommendations for dinner. She was a very nice woman.
• I have nothing bad to say, it was a must pleasant stay.

“I have stayed there many times before and I am sure I will again in July or for a weekend getaway to Chicago.”

• Very good maid service.
• Dirty stairwell carpet looked like a mess from someones animal not cleaned during my stay.

“Large modern room with everything you would need. Very nice bathroom, storage, desk and bar area. Clean and comfortable.”

• It was close to our destination Woodsfield mall.
• Dominos pizza in the hotel was bad.

• The rooms were nice, clean, and spacious.
• Did not have restaurant in the hotel.

“The price and location was great. It is one block from a huge mall and just a couple miles from the train into the city. The hotel was very clean, and the staff was very helpful. Will stay here again on a weekend trip to the city.”

• Clean. Staff was pleasant. Decent location with restaurants nearby.
• Someone had a dog upstairs that bothered me for about 20 minutes.

“The staff was pleasant. The rooms were clean and well kept. That asked twice how things were in my room when I came across someone or called about something. That was nice of them. There was a Wendys and Denneys next to the restaurant so food or a snack was readily available. Nice place.”

• The room was fairly large and the hotel was very quiet.
• The people at the front desk were playing around while I was trying to check in.

“I think it was a very good stay for the money. It's located near wood field mall and has access to the highway within a block of the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.”

• Added to the cleanliness of the hotel and friendliness of the staff, the free breakfast was a very big plus!
• It was a bit inconvenient to get into the actual parking lot. You had to go through the restaurant lot, but it wasn't so bad.

“Overall, we were well pleased with the hotel. The free breakfast is always a plus for us and the room was comfortable and attractive.”

• Excellent staff - very helpful and friendly. I will stay here again the next time I head to Chicago.
• The pool was small, but that was the only issue I can come up with.

“The hotel's location is fantastic, as the Woodfield Mall, and other malls, are within 5 minutes walking distance. If you want to head downtown, the train is about a mile away, but the hotel staff happily provided shuttle service at our request. The area appears safe and well lit within a suburban metro area. Traffic was busy, but that was expected. The front desk staff and drivers were excellent and most welcoming of us. A great experience at a great price!”

• Clean and easy to get into your room.
• The pool had way too much chlorine in it and burned our eyes. No bathrooms close to the pool.

“It was pretty nice. I am a smoker and was glad to be able to open the window to let fresh air in. Breakfast was pretty good.”

• Not very clean, grounds littered with garbage, needs some refurbishing.

“Was not really pleased with the hotel as far as using it for a vacation, but for my purposes, which was to be near the mall and to shop and therefore just to sleep there, it was ok.”

• Easy in and out access and very clean and quiet.
• No indoor pool and the barking dog in the next room.

• The staff was very helpful.
• Connecting to the train was not easy.

“This hotel was clean and nice for the price. It was very difficult to catch a train and get to the United Center from here. For the suburbs, it is a great location. Right by Woodsfield Mall and had restaurants nearby. No indoor pool.”

• The cleaning staff forgot our clean towels on the second day. Also, the room wasn't as clean the second day.

• Not easily accessible from eastbound Higgins road.

“Clean rooms, quiet atmosphere and nice continental breakfast bar. Parking is plentiful and easily accessible except when eastbound on Higgins road. Multiple restaurants within easy walking distance and a nearby theater. High speed internet access in the room for your laptop and cable television to entertain you. Located near the Wood field mall and Schaumberg businesses. Good value for your traveling dollar.”

• The gym hours were too short.
