• Plenty of space and great breakfast!

“This hotel was very much what we wanted for our shopping trip. We were close to shopping; the room accommodated two young girls, their mothers and their grandmother very nicely; the complimentary breakfast was fantastic; and the girls enjoyed the pool. I know we will choose this place next year.”

• Great atmosphere, clean and attractive. Breakfast was great.
• 2 double beds in room, not big enough. They should be queen beds. Bar drinks were way overpriced.

• Beautiful open atrium, nice in room bar area, extra sink and mirror in the bedroom were great!
• Atrium style interior carried sound from the main lobby area up to the rooms.

“Excellent staff and beautiful open lobby areas. The room was nice, clean, up to date and spacious. Even the fold out couch was pretty comfortable. The included made-to-order breakfast was wonderful. My only issue is if you are a light sleeper on the pull out couch the sound from the atrium below could be distracting, but a towel under the door fixed that for me and everything else was excellent.”

• Indoor courtyard was attractive and useful.
• Hotel room furniture could use some updating.

• Friendly and attentive staff, went out of there way to make us feel welcome.

“Was very impressed with this hotel. The front desk clerk was very welcoming. The room was lovely. We were hesitant to eat at the hotel as it did not have a lot of business and the location was prime for many closes by restaurants. We decided to stay put and just eat at the hotel and were pleasantly surprised. The food and service was very good. We were traveling to our son's college football game but felt like we were celebrating our anniversary. Would highly recommend.”

• The staff was very friendly and helpful.
• Absolutely zero ambience in the location--surrounded by parking lots.

“This is a somewhat dated--and faded--business hotel. While it is convenient to Motorola and several other area businesses, it is not within walking distance of any recreational facilities or shopping. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and that made our stay pleasant. I would not recommend this hotel unless one has business in the area.”

• Free breakfast buffet!, parking, and cocktails. Great workout room. Two-room suites.
• Nothing thought it was a great hotel.

“Very nice hotel within a reasonable distance from Woodfield. Room was quiet. Breakfast buffet was great with cooked to order omelets and other hot foods as well as the typical continental breakfast of cereal, fruit, yogurt and toast. Free cocktail reception in the evening. Free parking. True suites with two separate rooms with a door connecting them. There was nothing we did not like.”

• The staff was great. The free breakfast was the best I have ever had.
• The sofa in the room was not comfortable.

“I was very happy with my hotel. The hot made to order omelets were delicious and the staff was great. Very romantic ambience, but they had activities for children too. The pool was a little small, but sufficient, the hot tube & sauna were very nice. Close to the mall and other attractions.”

• My husband found the bathroom small, but this was a minor item.

• Friendly Staff and excellent breakfast bar.
• Moldy shower!

“The Staff was very friendly. The location was next to a wonderful mall and a variety of eateries. It was a nice distance from the city (~25min) which allowed us to enjoy the city amenities during the day and have safer family surroundings at night. Free Parking!! The only draw back was the shower was moldy- which was surprising for a hotel of this caliber!”

“The hotel has a beautiful plush lobby, seating area and nice spacious lounge off lobby. Rooms are very quiet, beds very comfortable. Hotel has easy access to that all important trip to the shopping mall.”

• Hot water issues, no alarm clock.

“We went to be in striking distance of downtown Chicago. The hotel has a shuttle to the nearest train station, but they do not run it after 10:30 PM so you need to get a taxi if you stay late downtown. The breakfast was great, get the omelets. The front office staff was very helpful, but half way through the week housecleaning took our coffee pot. Also the water took a long time to get hot and would fade from hot to cold while you were in it. I travel a lot for business and will give them an average rating.”

• The staff in all areas was very well trained and professional.

“Great hotel. Love the self check in and out. Employees manning front desk were very helpful with travel questions. Even though most of the guests were there for business, we felt comfortable. Would absolutely stay again. Appreciate the luxury of adjoining room availability. Great experience.”

• The free breakfast was worth the stay. It's very filling!
• We were given wrong directions to Wal-Mart.

“Great hotel with spacious rooms. The lobby was beautiful. Happy hour with free drinks and snacks was a big hit with my group. Free shuttle to surrounding attractions (IKEA, Woodfield Mall, Lowe's Movie Theater, etc). The breakfast was great and free. Just grab a free apple and then there is no need to even have lunch!”

• Very comfortable bed.
• Small bathroom. Remote for bedroom TV didn't work.

“Upscale hotel. Breakfast included (very good). Wonderful king bed. Liked the idea of the two room suite, but very tight & small bathroom (almost had to stand on toilet to close door). Otherwise very pleased with this hotel.”

“It was great, very clean, and comfortable, swimming pool was nice, breakfast was excellent. There were 4 of us and we all slept well. Nice to have the extra mirror and sink to get ready in the morning.”

• The interior was quite beautiful.
• My experience was tainted by a school group staying in the hotel.

“This hotel might be great for the business traveler during the week, but a weekend spent with a bunch of teenagers roaming the hotel was more irritating that I would have liked. The rooms were great, the hotel was attractive and convenient. It could have been very nice on a different occasion.”

• Nice lobby and rooms faced the center which was very safe and attractive. It reminded me of san Antonio¿s la mansion.
• Parking lot.

“Close to shopping and easy to find. Food was good the service was slow and forgetful. Other than that the bed was comfortable and staff was friendly. Great place to stay.”

• No maps or places to eat or see in the area. No Airport shuttle. The cab service was very slow.

• The room and bedding was quite clean.
• The parking was terrible for this site. Too far for small legs.

“We stayed the weekend of 6/2-6/4. Upon check in I noticed at least 50 young children in the lobby with no adult supervision. I was told that there were several youth hockey, lacrosse, and volleyball teams staying the same weekend. This staff effectively keep after hours noise to a minimum and that made for a great stay. The breakfast was excellent and we were unable to try out the on site Cajun restaurant.”

• The lobby was beautiful and comfortable.
• The emergency exit stairwells are gloomy, peeling: do not encourage stairway use.

“The location is great, just off Rittenhouse Square. Beds are not very comfortable and pillows only foam. Staff is very courteous. Hotel is clean except for stairways, which are gloomy, somewhat confusing (one floor required a magnetic card to exit onto), and the paint is peeling. The exercise room provides water and fruit: very nice. Our shower leaked and stain indicated this was going on a long time. The hotel allows you to request fresh bedding and towels, thus saving water (but then it's wasted with the shower leakage.) We rented two rooms and had only specified about one of them that we had no car -- somehow having a car seems to be de facto, as the presence of a car showed up on the bill for the second room. This took a few minutes to clear. Once again, staff is very, very courteous.”

• It's beautiful, the beds are great and the food included was excellent.
• Having to leave after only one night.

“Everything about the hotel is welcoming and friendly. There were several large groups staying at the hotel the night we were there, and you wouldn't even know they were there. Very little noise, very comfortable rooms. The pool stays open late, the made to order breakfast was restaurant quality and everything was spotless. Can't wait to stay there again.”
