“Newly refurbished, excellent spacious rooms, continental breakfast, free parking. Staff was very helpful.” Aug 9, 2009 by
Angela from Pierre,SD
“Almost late to meeting while waiting 20 minutes for a working iron to be delivered to room in the morning since no one on staff had a key to the housekeeping room and there were no housekeeping staff on site.” Jun 28, 2009 by
Dennis from Naperville,IL
“Nice hotel.” Sep 26, 2008 by
Tara
“I would not recommend this hotel until all the remodeling is done. The rooms were big but very outdated. The breakfast was served in totes of ice and on a table by the elevators and usually empty. But the staff was very friendly.” Sep 18, 2008 by
marie christian
“This hotel was very not upgraded and uncomfortable, we felt like this was more of a motel stay, not recommended.” Sep 13, 2008 by
Bob from Chippewa Falls, WI
“The hotel was under construction, the location was not at all convenient, there was little or no continental breakfast and there was only one bed. The hide abed was terrible.” Sep 13, 2008 by
Jerry from Riverdale, IL
“The check in area takes away from a very nice hotel 3 star. Rooms below standard, lobby to say the lease.” Sep 9, 2008 by
Jody from Janesville, WI
“The hotel room was fine and it was under serious renovation. Expected usual conveniences such as access to a computer in the lobby, but considering there was no lobby, there was no computer access.” Aug 29, 2008 by
Paul from Dubuque, IA
“This hotel is under major reconstruction. I would not recommend it at all. The construction started at 6:30 in the morning out side or our window and then at 7:00 am they started out two rooms two doors away with their hammers. By 8:30 they decided they did not need to work on those two rooms anymore. They could have waited to start construction to maybe 8:00 or 8:30. In my town, you can't start construction until 7:00. There were no facilities at this location due to the reconstruction. At best, if you can put up with the construction, this is a one star hotel.” Aug 26, 2008 by
Erica from Green Bay, WI
“The room was a normal room- spacious. The rest of the hotel was under renovation.” Aug 23, 2008 by
Annette from Perry, IA
“This hotel was one of the worse hotels I have ever stayed in. I was very disappointed that we were not notified the hotel was under renovation. During the day the construction was very loud, which made it difficult for my young child to take a nap. The sheets and towels were very worn. The furniture was beaten up.” Aug 18, 2008 by
Gina from Ringle, WI
“The hotel will probably be nice after the construction.” Aug 16, 2008 by
Jason from Windsor, ON CA
“The big problem that I had with this hotel was that it is going through a major change right now. At 7am they start there work for the day the room next to us was getting dry walled the 2nd day the room across the hall was getting it next 3rd was the room 4 doors down. Now for the outside of the work they were using cranes to get the steel beams in place which happens to be our side of the hotel and at our window. Our last day there they were using a jack hammer on the brick directly under neath our room that was at 7am which again woke me up and being up that earlier when you have a 7 hour drive is not a good thing.” Aug 13, 2008 by
Paula from Brussels, WI
“Bad rooms, hallways, entry at 6:45 AM. Construction on a day you can sleep in is not cool.” Aug 8, 2008 by
Ian from Burlington, ON CA
“Disappointed that the hotel was under major renovations when we arrived, will be nice when completed though. Hotel resembles and old apt. building style.” Aug 6, 2008 by
Debra from Ellsworth, IL
“The hotel was neat, clean, and spacious. Since the breakfast area was being remodeled, the continental breakfast was on tables near the elevators.” Aug 5, 2008 by
Diane from Fitchburg, WI
“It is not fair to evaluate the hotel in all aspects as we visited during a major renovation. Therefore the public spaces were not really available to us. However, our room was clean and met our needs. Having the continental breakfast in the area outside the elevator was handy in the morning since public spaces were closed.” Aug 5, 2008 by
Linda from Noblesville, IN
“Possibly due to overall construction confusion small things were left undone by housekeeping. Would hope when construction is completed services will be better.” Aug 4, 2008 by
Jamie from Dubuque, IA
“The hotel was outdated with an awkward entryway. In fact, we drove by the hotel the first time because we didn't think it was a hotel. As it turns out, the hotel is under renovation so in the future it may be a 3 or 4 star hotel, but in its current condition, it was not above a 2 star hotel in my opinion. This was the first time I was disappointed.” Aug 1, 2008 by
Joan from Spencer, WI
“The hotel is apparently under renovations, so it was not very attractive and had lots of construction on and around it. It should be nice when finished.” Jul 28, 2008 by
Naseer from Oshawa, ON CA
“The hotel was undergoing renovations, so no public spaces were available for guest use, such as a lobby. So it was very basic.” Jul 24, 2008 by
James from St. Paul, MN
“The hotel was under construction, which is excusable. We asked for a non smoking room and had a smoking room. Also, there was no water for sale at the front desk or in a vending machine - very disappointing.” Jul 23, 2008 by
Susan from Countryside, IL
“The hotel was in a terrible area. I did not feel safe at all. It was not clean. There were bugs on the counter in our room. The staff was rude. The bed was uncomfortable and I did not feel comfortable even sitting on it due to the uncleanliness of the accommodations.” Jul 23, 2008 by
Lynn from Austin, MN
“The hotel was under renovation. The rooms were clean but the amenities we thought the hotel will have, were not there. Would not stay there again.” Jul 11, 2008 by
Barbara J. from W. Lafayette, IN
“It was a nice stay. I however, unfortunately, miss quoted the dates of my stay. I will be more careful next time. Thanks.” Jul 9, 2008 by
Theresa from Oshkosh, WY
“We both were really pleased with the hotel in general and we will keep it in mind for our next trip to Milwaukee.” Jul 8, 2008 by
Nate from Manchester, NH
“Decent place to sleep. Large rooms, probably larger than needed for a place to crash during a road trip. A restaurant guide would've been nice. (Ordering pizza becomes impractical when the Yellow Pages list 3 dozen numbers to places that won't deliver). Another weird thing. The letter in the room mentioned all kinds of extra amenities that weren't available at that hotel.” Jul 2, 2008 by
Relf from Mississauga, ON CA
“Hotel was decent. Nothing extraordinary, but not bad either. Just a basic hotel that allows for a comfortable sleep at night.” Aug 16, 2007 by
Cara
“Excellent hotel for the price. Breakfast is about the best I have ever had at any hotel.” Aug 15, 2007 by
Mary
“I expect the bathroom fixtures to work when I check in.” Aug 2, 2007 by
Kris from Marshfield, WI
“A big part of the reason we chose this hotel was because of the good reviews but I was fooled. When we checked in shortly after 3:00 and got to our room, it was musty and damp smelling and feeling (the hall was cool and dry feeling). It was over 90 degrees outside and the air condition was running on high and blowing slightly cool air. We left for our function around 4:30 pm and figured it we leave the air running that it would be better when we got back. We got back around midnight and the room was just as musty and damp smelling and feeling as when we left so I went to talk to the front desk to see what could be done. The person at the desk did not seem a bit surprised about the room and offered me a fan (which they happened to have sitting right there to give out so they knew of the problem). I asked about getting another room and they said they were all full so then I asked about a discount and he said I would have to talk to the manager the next morning. The air conditioner ran all night and the next morning it was still not as nice and fresh as the hallway was. We held our door open for awhile to let some of that cooler dryer air in. Other than this situation, the room was looked clean, but I did notice cheerios and sunflower seeds on the floor between the bed and the nightstand that were not cleaned up from a previous occupant. Another thing was we were on the first floor and I had to go to the 2nd, 3rd or 4th floor to get ice.” Jul 13, 2007 by
Jacqueline
“I will come back to stay their again.” Feb 11, 2007 by

“Easy to locate, clean, close to diverse selection of eateries, staff friendly.” Jun 8, 2006 by
Jeff
“Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was ok but nothing nearby for dining / shopping, etc.” Apr 25, 2006 by
Judy
“We liked the room arrangement my husband got up early and could read with the light on, and I didn't even know it also, just having the microwave and refrigerature was great. If we were staying longer. I also liked all the food items, and wine, etc for your guests. We bought a camera. The front desk people were so helpful. I needed help with the computer, plus they did a mapquest to a furniture store.” Nov 1, 2005 by
Phil from Jacksonville, IL
“This hotel is great for business/leisure. No swimming pool does not make it family friendly. The free internet access was helpful in checking email and searching for activities in the area. We did enjoy our stay and the cost was very good.” Oct 3, 2005 by
Andy
“Hotel is located in industrial area of Milwaukee/Wauwatosa, and is close to several fast food restaurants. Rooms are well equipped for business travel with desk and internet. Kitchenette was also useful. Make a point to go to their included breakfast - it includes Belgian waffles, eggs, and just about everything else. Staff was friendly and helpful.” Sep 28, 2005 by
Ken from Chesterfield, MO
“Excellent highway access (hotel backs up to the highway), but generally wasn't an exciting location.” Jun 10, 2005 by
James from Springfield, IL
“Cheap and satisfactory. This place was exactly what we were looking for. If you are going to a Brewers' game, you might want something a little closer.” Apr 18, 2005 by
Jennifer from Winona, MN
“Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was rather short, we arrived at the hotel very late(this was planned that way),and had to leave early in the morning. The room was very clean, and everything was kept in order. In the morning, they had a huge continental breakfast, which served hot food along with fresh fruit, and other great breakfast foods. I felt rather safe, because the doors all required a key for entry after 10 PM, and there was a security guard in the parking lot watching things when we got there.” Apr 16, 2005 by
Sharon from Weston, WI
“Staff were pleasant and helpful. The lobby was cheerful and appealing. The rooms were really nice. I liked the amenities: Laundry facilities, exercise equipment etc. Actually I really liked the fact that the TV could swivel between the little living room area and the bed area. Nice touch. Thanks” Mar 25, 2005 by
Mike from Stevens Point, WI

Edward S. from Tripoli “The Amerisuites MKE West was definitely more than the 2 1/2 star hotel we bid on. Everything was first rate...including a hot, made to order breakfast included in the room rate. Definitely hit a home run with this one.” Sep 21, 2004 by
Nancy E. from Mercer, WI “We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at the Amerisuites Northwest in Milwaukee.” Sep 6, 2004 by
Duane H. from Marinette, WI “The hotel we stayed at was the best. The rooms were very clean and this was the first time I have been at a place that covered the blanket on top and bottom with a clean sheet. No allergies bothered me at all. Thanks to Amerisuites Milwaukee West” Sep 3, 2004 by
Kevin S. from Dane, WI “The hotel was awesome! For the price I would have thought we were going to get much less of a hotel. The Cook to order Breakfast included with the room saved a family of 5 a bunch of money. Thanks!”
