• The evening receptionist was quick to give me clean linen after I complained.
• Room was absolutely filthy.

“The cleanliness of the room was terrible. There was mold on the shower curtain, trash in the wastebaskets, the bed was unmade, and the bed had body hair on all of the sheets and blankets. This was the most unclean extended stay I have ever seen.”

• This hotel was not very clean and needed updating.

“The staff of the hotel was very accommodating and the location was great for needs. The rooms and the hotel in general were not clean and they need updating. The carpet was very worn, and the bedding was thin and very worn. Also the shower curtain was very old and moldy. Just new carpet, bedding and a clean shower curtain would make a great improvement. The rooms should have a much more thorough cleaning also.”

• It has gone downhill. Dirty and lacking supplies.

“This hotel needs a major overhaul. It was dirty and we had no glasses, silverware. The rugs were gross and so was the entry. The trash outside was always overflowing and so were the ashtrays. The dogs were more plentiful than the guests and it was sad!”

• More than adequate for very reasonable prices and excellent customer service.
• Room needed vacuumed, toilet tissue and towels were not sufficient. One towel and no hand towel for 2 people.

“We were not told there's an additional $10 charge for 2-bed room before bidding. There's no sign on the main roads how to get to the hotel. The kitchen utensils looked & smelled dirty. The housekeeping kept forgetting to offer us coffee and didn't offer enough towels. The TV & windowsills are visibly dusty. My wife got stomachache from the 1st night stay.”

The TV & windowsills were visibly dusty. The elevator goes to 3rd floor when we pressed 2nd. My wife got a stomachache from the 1st night stay.”

• Nice kitchen and good sized rooms.
• They had not cleaned my room well hairs in the bed and a stiletto under the bed.

“Easy location off the freeway, but if you want to go west on 90 it takes 15 minutes to get to the onramp. Service was decent but when I found hairs in my bed and a stiletto (bad combination) they offered to switch my room at 12:30am but did not apologize and didn't help move my luggage. Rips in the carpet and chairs and the room was not in the best condition.”

• Smelled of cigarettes.

“Decent place for the money. Smoking was permitted here (I guess) and hotel and my room raked of smoke. Guest in neighboring room was smoking so heavily it infiltrated my room.”

• Pillows need work! Room not stocked with essentials.

“This was a great place for what we needed. The kitchen allows us to save money on food while traveling. The room was clean and quiet and the staff was great. We did have to go to the desk to get things that should have been in the room like coffee packs, towels, dish soap etc., but we had also changed rooms so perhaps this one wasn't prepared yet.”

• I like to have a small kitchen with a stove and refrigerator.
• The staff at the front desk was missing upon checkout and I had to leave my key without a "checkout confirmation".

• It was disgusting.

“The smell of the hotel was horrible from the moment we walked in the front door. The staff seemed unhappy to be there. We had to hold our breath in the hallway to our room because the smell was so awful. Our room was the worst Ive ever stayed in, there were clumps of hair all over the floor, the bed spread was also full of hair. We thought the pillow cases were dingy, but when we took them off we saw it was the pillows themselves, they were so yellow w/ stains that it showed through the pillowcases. When we asked for new pillows they were so lumpy you could barely sleep on them. In the cabinets were tons of food crumbs. Inside the dresser drawers were leftover items from the previous people including hair items full of more hair. The bathroom door and inside wall were filled with bugs and the floor was so dirty it was almost black. When we went downstairs for service we waited about 5-8 minutes and nobody ever came to the front desk, and that was after we opened the front door for the bell to go off alerting people we were there. We ended up cleaning up the hair off floor as well as the bathroom door and walls because it was literally making us ill. The condition of that room was unacceptable for even a motel or economy room. We stayed the next night in a hotel across the street owned by the same company and it was perfect.”

• The kitchenette was nice, though we didnt need It for this trip.
• There were no washcloths.

“This Is a basic hotel - clean and simply decorated. It has a small kitchenette with stove, sink, microwave, and fridge, and Iris, coffeemaker. It would be a nice hotel for a longer trip for those who do not want to spend an outrageous amount. We did not experience any problems while we were there and would stay again.”

• It took 50 minutes for a desk clerk to show up to check me in.

“I walked up to the front and there was a group of men standing outside the front door smoking and drinking beer. I walked in, a woman alone and had to wait 50 minutes for the desk clerk. I tried to ring the lobby phone to alert someone, but no one came. One of the men who were standing outside informed me that the desk clerk "was not really into his job and should be back soon". .”

• The location was convenient.
• The sheets and towels were visibly dirty.

“You get what you pay for! It was supposed to be 2star. I was very disappointed. The room was actually pretty clean; however, there were stains on the sheets and towels. We got in at 2 in the morning and there was no one there to check us in. Fortunately, we were able to find someone to ask for new sheets and towels, which we changed ourselves. It is nice to have the kitchenette, but there are no hotel amenities. Not even a hair dryer at the front desk like all other hotels. I will definitely stick to 2.5 stars next time so I don't get stuck in another one.”

• There was a kitchen & they allow pets.
• The hotel staff isn't very welcoming or informed.

“It was just like any other extended stay property I've stayed at. The hotel staff left a lot to be desired, though. The kitchen was nice, though actually cooking something proved difficult, as our room was only provided with half the cookware/cutlery/dishes it was supposed to (I'm guessing that previous guests stole some of them and the hotel never replenished the supply). All-in-all, it was an okay stay. It definitely should be a 1 star, though, not a 2 star, imp.”

• Phone calls to reception go to voice mail saying it is past business hours.

“We lost our way while driving to this hotel and called to get the directions and I was shocked to see that my call was directed to the voice mail saying the normal business hours are between 6 am and 11pm - I was calling few minutes past mid night. I have never heard a hotel having limited number of business hours. Then I had to talk to the national support and they took my number saying someone will call me with in five minutes and that did not happen. I was at a total loss with my family in the car not knowing how to handle the situation. Finally I managed to find this place myself and all we wanted was a few hours of rest in that place to continue with our onward journey to Wisconsin.”

• Location of the hotel, big space in each room and their good free offer to use bally fitness and they help friendly if need copier or fax machine.
• Dishes had stain on when checked in, carpet in the room is too old and not clean, no greetings from staff, house keeping hasn't attended after 8 days.

“I think this hotel has a great location, good building just need to be more disciplined (cleaning the room timely every week, greeting the guests), I believe the thermosphere is more like a place to stay for a while as a temporary residence not like a formal hotel which you expect a timely by default good quality service.”

“The hotel offered to upgrade, at a price which later changed to a higher rate, had missing amenities, and a wireless service that charged for access, had the wrong information on printed sheets in the room, and even when contacting their customer support for 2 hours (off the number scratched on a note at the front desk) was still only able to stay connected for 5 minutes max. The evening staff could not speak English in but very limited ways (Where is the ice machine? no clue, found out later they did not have one). The last person we talked to there finally took the issues seriously - and to their credit for this one good employee - refunded the entire stay.”

“This is a basic hotel. Nothing fancy, but certainly not a dump. Just a basic, clean, regular hotel. The kitchen facilities in the rooms were very handy, but for shorter term stays, a continental breakfast option would have been nice. The staff seems hit or miss. Of the three people I spoke to, one was nice, one didn't seem to care, and one was difficult to communicate with. Overall, it was a decent stay and I¿d be more than willing to go again given the price.”

• The first room they gave me was messy, therefore I had to go back to the front desk and ask them for another room.

• The kitchenette was incredibly nice.
• The hotel desk workers were very slow to acknowledge and help you.

“If you want convenience and kitchen facilities, this is the place for you. If you want courteous prompt help from the staff, this is not the place for you. Be prepared to wait at least 10-15 minutes for any question you may have (extra washcloth, extra key, etc). ”
