• Room was about the size of a broom closet. Hotel was older. TV was extremely small.

“I wouldn't return to this hotel again. Our room was the size of a large bathroom closet. The television was very small. The hotel was obviously older. The restaurant was a buffet and it was very expensive. There was no free continental breakfast.”

• The small room size, the soft bed was horrible, tiny TV.

“Please listen to the reviews people! This was an awful experience! The tiny room could barely fit the queen size bed. The TV was so small, maybe 19inch, we could hardly watch our movie (which cost $13.99!). Breakfast is not included, you'll pay at least $15 per person.The mattress was so soft, it was more like trying to sleep on a giant dog pillow! I woke up every hour of the night. My husband and I kept sinking into the middle. Please don't come here.”

• The room is not much bigger than two or three feet around a queen sized bed. Tiny!

“The pool area is not inviting at all. Very sterile set up. The rooms are TINY. Mainly rooms with one queen sized bed available, it's really only made to sleep. Nothing else. Two adults would trip over each other. The quality of the beds and bedding are excellent, though, and the staff was very friendly.”

• Extremely comfortable, clean, well appointed and economical.
• Needs free wireless internet access in each room.

“The room was some what small, however, I was only there to sleep and change clothes. It was the best hotel in the area and not far from all the planned activities I had to attend. The bed, pillows and bedding were top of the line and I slept very well. Did I mention how reasonable the rate was? I highly recommend this hotel.”

“When my husband asked about a rubber bath mat for the tub because of his balance difficulty, they gave us a suite which included a walk-in shower. Very accommodating and although the bedroom was still very small, the living room was outstanding.”

• Wedding reception with disc jockey till midnight directly below our window.

“Our first night at the hotel there was a very noisy wedding reception in the outside facility directly below our windows. Even seven stories up we could hear the disc jockey's music clearly and it could not be shut out until midnight. I feel taken advantage of by the Marriott, as they ought to have known about this and there was no warning that the reduced rate would come with this condition. I would have looked elsewhere had I known.”

• Convenience and location.
• Someone smoking in their room, turned on the B/R fan causing the smoke to enter the ventilation system.

“At 1 a.m., I made the staff aware of the smoke coming into my room and was told they would check into it. I fell asleep only to be awakened at 4 a.m. because the smoke was entering my room through the ventilation system again and then again at 7 a.m. when I finally fell asleep, about 8 a.m., the alarm, which I did not set, went off in the room! worst night I've spent in a hotel in a long time. Wouldn't recommend it to my non-smoking friends but might tell smokers its a great place to get away with smoking in the bathroom!”

• The beverage center on the second floor was extremely nice.
• These single rooms have barely enough room to turn around. Not convenient for more than one.

• I was unhappy with the quality of my room and they moved me to another.
• The room was extremely small; bathroom was a disgrace, dirty broken fixtures.

“I was expecting a 3 star hotel and the room I got was so small that you could barely walk around the bed to the to get to the bathroom. The bathroom itself had peeling wallpaper, broken toilet seat and cracked sink. The floor was dirty also. When I complained I was transferred to another room that was still tiny but at least clean and in good condition.”

• I liked the deluxe bedroom and the comfort of two bathroom.
• I did not like the lobby area or the fact that breakfast was not included.

“Overall this hotel is a great place to stay, you have the comfort of two bedrooms and two bathrooms and to TV. you are also provided with a newspaper daily, and some of the best lotion and soap from Bah and body. there is great fitness center, also you will truly enjoy the pool and sauna.”

• Cramped room, soft mattress not worth cheap price.

“The rooms are extremely small. The bed mattress was the softest I have been in 20 years. I had a miserable night of sleep constantly waking up due to the bed. No King size beds offered - obviously kings would not fit into rooms.”

• My husband had eye surgery and the location was convenient for us.
• Our room smelled like a nursing home. Bathroom was clean but could use some work.

“We needed a hotel close by (Naperville) as my husband had eye surgery and we live out of town (Davenport, Iowa). Upon entering the room it smelled like a nursing home. There were ceiling tiles that had water marks on them (one over one of the beds. The bathroom appeared to be dirty (floor in particular) but in reality was actually clean. Probably would not stay here again.”

“Rooms were very small and still had 1980s decor. For a Marriott hotel, this hotel is in dire need of a renovation. I think the corporate Marriott executives would not want to have their name attached to a hotel like this. My room was tiny and had an about 15 year old 19 inch TV set. Honestly, the room reminded me of my freshman dorm room in college from 15 years ago. Was a small and depressing room, so I spent most of the night out so I didn't have to be in the room until I went to bed.”

“The shower was dirty, and lost so much pressure twice that it went back to the tub faucet and we had to push the shower button again. In the morning they failed to put the quick checkout slip under our door, and the TV checkout didn't work either. A poor experience.”

• The morning breakfast buffet was the best. The staff was nice and friendly.
• The dinner buffet was only adequate. Long way to walk to rooms.

“This Marriot is what I would expect a Marriot to be. Very convenient for the business traveler. The addition of wireless access would be very nice. The complementary drink and coffee stations are very nice when coming in from a long days work or having to stay up working late.”

• They upgraded me because of my dissatisfaction with the small room.
• The rooms were not Marriott size rooms. My upgrade was an equally low quality room.

“This is a converted ATT building. The rooms are not in any way up to Marriott standards. I would not stay here again. The rooms made me claustrophobic. I was very disappointed in this "Marriott hotel" would not recommend at any price.”

“Always we have been given either a king bed or two beds. When I called the hotel about the accommodations, I was told they would put in that request, but could not promise more than one queen bed. Now, they did very graciously change us to a two bed room when we arrived, but if they had been booked full, Im guessing we would have been out of luck on the two bed request.”

• Great food, cheap, homey, great pies, friendly service.
• That there aren't more around.

“Nancy's airport cafe is not your typical diner. It is extremely cozy and the walls are covered with historical aircraft memorabilia. Their signature country fried steak with biscuits and gravy couldn't even stay on the plate. I had a slice of homemade peach pie and it was so good I bought two pies, one apple, and one peach to take home and share with friends. Nancy's is my new favorite on I-5, and I plan to fly there again in November.”

• The hotel provided free snacks and drinks in the common areas.
• While the room was nicely appointed and very clean, it was a tad small.

“Ideal place for a conference. Families that are staying at the hotel should drive to downtown Naperville (5 miles west) for entertainment, dining, shopping and a stroll along the river walk.”

• Needs updating, Rooms are very small, It reminds you of a college dorm.

“This place was a AT&T training facility. Wireless or wired wifi will cost you and you can not get a signal for your own wifi so plan on paying. I ended up having to work from my car in the parking lot.”

• The bed was super comfortable.
• You had to pay $12.95 + tax a day for internet access in your room.

“The rooms were very small, however, I didn't mind because I was the only one in it. The bed was heavenly! They do charge $12.95+ tax a day for high speed internet access in your room, which was a disappointment. Beautiful resort in a very private setting. Staff was friendly and their bar/restaurant was very good. They have free lemonade in the lobby all day long. I would highly recommend this hotel.”

“Problem is these rooms are not designed for double occupancy. This hotel was built by AT&T as a training center. For that purpose it is excellent. Not so hot for a couple on a vacation or leisure visit.”

• The beautiful room and swimming pool.
• The Hyatt lobby smells funny.

“The lisle Hyatt had extremely helpful staff and the room was much larger than I had anticipated. The Marriott was excellent and I really enjoyed the location and the adjoining golf course and the little river with the deer grazing in the morning. Pool and gym were excellent.”
