“The hotel was very nice. Shower was good - we are used to a more roomer bathroom. I appreciate the front desk for choosing a room away from the wedding party or banquet area. Location was great - we could walk to the mall and dinner.”

• Wide variety.
• Had a used water bottle in my room that had not been replaced - front desk gave me extra.

“Enjoyed the stay. It has a wide variety of services, but don't expect them to be extensive. For example, great TV (plenty of channels), great fitness room (almost 10 bikes and treadmills) but no fancy channels and no weights or weight machines. Nice suburban location for good parking, but a little far removed from Downtown.”

• The shampoo, LCD, weight lifting facility (not just cardio machines).
• Room cleaning service attendants couldn't speak or understand English. Not prejudice but think it's important.

“I loved how the staff referred to me as, Mr. last name. The section of the hotel that I stayed in did have an odd odor. Over all I really enjoyed it. Again, I loved the shampoo and the LCD TV.”

• I loved the Mandarin and mint soap and lotion.
• There was a distinct smoky smell to the room.

• Large, new flat-screen TV in room.
• Did not see a free business center for internet, but was available for fee in room.

“Nicely appointed with modern furniture and decor. Bed was the most comfortable one we slept on during our three-night, three-hotel trip. Located very close to shopping and restaurants.”

• We loved the beds. The bedspreads were comfy not stiff. Loved all the outlets on the desk.
• One of the "clean" towels had a stain. There were only 2 of us so we did not need. I felt that the maid staff should have noticed it and not used it.

“We loved it. We were in Milwaukee to visit Marquette University. It is right off of the freeway yet very quite. I love to two pools and how the fitness center overlooks the pool. Being by the mall was a plus as well. It was very easy to get to Marquette and Miller Park (We love baseball) without having to get back on to 94. We will stay again! The staff very friendly. Everyone greeted you.”

• Hallway noise. Some remodeling on our floor so there was a smell of glue.

“I'd recommend this hotel and will stay here again. Shopping mall within walking distance and a couple of golf courses nearby. Short drive to Miller Park!”

• Wide screen LCDS with high def channels, very well updated.
• The floor plan has the rooms spread a great distance.

“The property has been remodeled and looks great. The pool might be a bit small and the floor plan is spread out too far, but the rooms are great, the beds are great, the HD TVs are great and the service was fantastic.”

• Very complicating alarm clocks.

“We have stayed here before, and it looks like they have updated the hotel/rooms. We loved the HD flat screen TVs and decor. Also received a crib promptly. We have had problems with alarms clocks here in the past, with them going off in the middle of the night, and it happened again. Finally just unplugged it! Very convenient location to shopping/shopping/Miller Park.”

“I drove there in a blizzard! When I got there I expected half the staff to have called in and a wet lobby. NOT EVEN CLOSE! The lobby was warm and inviting - the staff was great and the room was perfect. I was looking for a mini vacation and I got a luxury!”

• I liked having a king sized bed.
• The bathroom in the room I had was small and awkward.

“Staff is friendly and the overall presentation of the hotel is very nice. I arrived during a large snow storm. Although it was difficult to find parking, plows were out clearing stalls as quickly as they could, and helping customers dig out their own vehicles.”

“Desk staff was friendly and efficient, recommended restaurants when asked, I opted for the hotel restaurant and found it to be clean, pleasant decor with a friendly staff. Food was good and plentiful (salad and New York strip steak. Check out was automatic and I would recommend the hotel to anyone.”

• Bed was extremely comfortable, staff courteous and attentive.
• No shower/bathroom facilities with the pool/hot tub room TV beautiful flat screen but no TV guide to know what was on.

“Very nice, formal lobby w/ coffee and bar a few feet away, lots of business people allowed for a gathering place for meeting others and conversations with new "friends". A nice alternative to just going to your room.”

• The rooms were phenomenal--luxury pillow-top mattresses and linens, flat-screen TV, ample desk space, pull out sofa already made up, plenty of space.
• Not their fault, but there were a number of middle-school age kids there for sporting events. Running, playing in elevator, crank calls, etc.

“The hotel room itself was one of most nicely appointed, clean and comfortable we've stayed in, and we travel a lot. Gift shop allowed us in even though we got there slightly after closing time and the door was locked--very accommodating.”

• Location to Milwaukee was excellent and comfy beds.
• Pool was kind of small, should have free wireless internet.

“We loved everything about this hotel, our room was good sized, comfy bed, although we wish the pull out couch would have been a double or queen versus a single. Our kids had fun in the small pool, they're very young so anything bigger would have just been overwhelming. We had an outrageously noisy and rude hockey team (probably more like 6 hockey teams and their parents) staying in the same hallway as us, I understand it's beyond the control of the hotel how these kids behaved, but it would have been nice to have been in a different wing, although I'm sure that if we had asked, the staff would have happily obliged. The hotel security did ask them to quiet down at one point, not at our request, I'm sure other people were complaining as this team was out of control. It was nice that the hotel had three computers set up for guests without lap tops, you were entitled to an hour of free internet on these computers. They also had outlets for laptops available at a large table near the restaurant for free wireless internet, very nice to have since you have to pay per night to have it in your room.”

• The exercise room was fantastic.
• The parking and hotel entry to the rooms didn't seem very well thought out.

“The room was nice and came with an HDTV with a decent selection of channels. The exercise room was much better than I've seen in hotels for a long time with very modern equipment and HDTV on the wall. There is a shopping mall across the parking lot and plenty of restaurants within a short drive of the hotel.”
