• Staff was rude and unhelpful.

“Overall an average place. Nice central pool and game area for kids. Nice restaurant and bar. Many things seemed to be out of order, such as, vending machines and video games. The only thing that was really bad was the service at the front desk. Its just to bad that one employee can ruin your stay at a hotel.”

• Although an older hotel, rooms were kept clean and comfortable.
• Hotel charges daily for rollaway.

“Hotel does not watch over recreation area. People took huge blocks of tables and had potlucks by the pool. These people took all recreational equipment. Rooms are clean and comfortable.”

“This hotel needs renovation. The rooms appear to be directly from the 70's. The beds were uncomfortable and the heating/cooling controls were not working. I won't stay here again.”

• Location was great! Easy on /off from freeway.
• There room keys need to checked to make sure the past room has been completely deleted.

“I have stayed here in the past. At one time this was a very nice hotel. It is becoming dated. The room was a little beat up. The beds were obviously old and not very comfortable. .”

• Hotel was easily accessible right off the expressway-the pool was nice my 1 yr old enjoyed it.
• The hallway and rooms had such a humid feel and scent-my initial experience with staff was very un-warming.

“My initial encounter with the staff at check in was not very welcoming-the two ladies in particular seemed robotic (they weren't rude) it wasn't a hospitable welcome. The rooms-hall-elevator felt like they needed dehumidifiers - caused a damp feeling and smell (sometimes like urine) - but it was a good time - my family enjoyed it and my 1 yr olds' first experience in a swimming pool was nice.”

• Very dirty room carpets need a good cleaning.

“This is not my first choice of a hotel for the Brookfield Milwaukee area hotel needs a major revamping in the rooms the baseboards are coming off in the room and several of the tiles on the bathroom floors were cracked, carpets needed a major cleaning and bed was worn down from may years of use. This hotel needs a revamping. On the positive side pool/whirlpool area was nice; they always had more than enough towels and lots of tables around the pool area for everyone. They had a complimentary continental breakfast and you could upgrade to the hot breakfast for less than $5 per person not too bad.”

• The bathroom was very spacious.
• There was a water mark in the corner on the ceiling.

“For the cost of the hotel the accommodations were very good. It was nice it had an indoor recreation area with pool, Jacuzzi, and games. Overall a very nice hotel.”

• A hike from the lobby to the room.

“Excellent staff. I left $150 in stamps behind in the room. At the front desk worked with housekeeping to retrieve them for me the next day. They mailed them to me! I was impressed at their honesty and quick response. The best western is very businesslike, but cordial as well.”

• The bed was hard and the room was hot. I didn't sleep well at all.

“The hotel was in a very convenient location. It may not seem like much is around there, but we used our GPS and found a ton of things to do. The staff was also very friendly. I'm allergic to smoke, so I called to request a non-smoking room and they were very accommodating. The rooms were clean, but a little outdated. They were also very hot and the bed made me and my husband ache. You could feel the springs through the mattress. The continental breakfast went fast on Sunday and they didn't refill anything other than juice, so by the time we got there, everything was pretty much gone. Again, had I paid full price I would have been upset, but with the price I paid, I can't complain.”

• Easy connection to internet via free wireless in the room.
• A wait person at breakfast did not bring water after I asked for it. Noisy bathroom exhaust fan.

• I liked having wireless high speed in the room.

“Overall a nice hotel with a lot of amenities It seems to be a bit of an older hotel that could use a few more renovations to the rooms. Overall, I'd stay there again, but maybe not for as high a price.”

• I liked the selection of channels on the TV, as well as the ease of checking in and out!
• There was a broken scale in the restroom that didn't even weigh correctly.

“The king size room was very nice and the bed slept great! We had a great selection of channels on the TV and were provided a simple continental breakfast. The hotel was easy to get to and the staff was very friendly. Would definitely stay here again!”

• It was Motel 6 with a pool; not a 2-star hotel, let alone a 2-1/2 star as rated.
• Had a computer in lobby to go online and reserve another hotel up the road.

“I have already filed a complaint and request my money back. Have purchased many hotels and this is the first time I felt taken advantage of. BW Midway is not a 2-1/2 star hotel. Mon-smoking room/floor smelled like smoke, elevator smelled like a used toilet, and there was a wasp in our severely dated room. I would also request you to downgrade this hotel for future reservations. Thanks, Rick”

• No need to leave the hotel for fun and excitement with a pool, arcade, restaurant.
• The arcade was not very well maintained with updated games and cleaning of the machines.

“Very nice hotel, especially for the 2.5 star rating it was given. Enough fun on premises, you may not even need to leave! Great place to stay!”

• I liked that they had clean rooms and good toiletries, great water pressure.
• Getting to and from our room was very roundabout. It had one elevator and you had to walk through the pool area.

“This hotel was convenient, clean, and had a helpful staff. Great hotel for business or couples. Not ideal with young children. Would use again though because they had great water pressure in showers and you left not feeling as if you just spent the night in a hotel.”

“If you are a business traveler, this hotel is a definite must. Top two floors take special cards to access, which keeps the kids in the hotel from running the halls etc. If you are a leisure traveler, the bottom 3 floors are all child friendly. Pool, video games etc. available. Can't say enough about this hotel.”

• Everything seems old and low quality - rooms, furniture, decor, toiletries.

“Good hotel if you need a last-minute accommodation on a budget. Easily accessible from highway. Free continental breakfast with cheap upgrade to full breakfast, but I wouldn't recommend it. Everything about this place seemed old and cheesy, especially when you get up to your room. Didn't feel very comfortable staying at this place.”

• The location, the manager on duty
• No AC, AC was filthy, filter never cleaned, paer mgr. "compressor not working, yearly problem"

“The lobby was pleasant upon arrival and the person on duty tried to be helpful. The rooms all felt stifeling and in need of fresh air aside of air conditioning. We were appalled at the condition of the air conditioner. It appeared the filater nor any part of it had never been cleaned.”

• Very Efficient. Clean Rooms Good Service.
• Mattress could be better. back was sore when I woke up.

“Ideal location. Very good at cleaning Room. Had trouble with tv. They came with a different one. I would stay there again. Price was all I could afford. Nice continental breakfast.Very quiet room. No outside noises no shower noise from other rooms. Quietest Motel I have ever stayed at. I would highly recommend it to anyone.”

• Convenient location, clean, nicely decorated, borders on a golf course, breakfast voucher can be applied to hot buffet or just used for continental
• Liked everything about it

“This hotel is located close to interstate highway and also roads that lead towards the downtown area of the city should you choose not to use highway. It has a pool and hot tub in a pleasant setting. Rooms on the back side of the hotel overlook a golf course. Has all the amenities in the room. Would recommend it to friends.”

• The breakfast was great and the location was handy.
• THe beds were very small and the linens were too small. There was only lukewarm water for the shower.

“We most likely would not stay here again. The price we paid was not worth the small room, small beds, and noisy atmosphere. There were numerous people smoking in the pool area and not supervising children, even after the staff asked for their cooperation. ”

• I LOVED the amenities in the rooms, as well as, the work-out room.
• The pool looked like it had a layer of scum on the top, so I didn't venture in.

“This hotel was very easy to get to and the overall quality was outstanding. Room service was fast and delicious!!! I did receive a coupon for a free continental breakfast, but I didn't have time to check it out on this trip. The only negatives were the pool, which could have used a cleaning while I was there, and one front desk staff who seemed to forget why he was there... focusing more on the countertop than those at the desk waiting for assistance. Would I recommend this hotel? Definitely!”
