• The hotel was beautiful. The beds were extremely comfortable.
• There wasn't a mini fridge in the room.

“The Marriott in Mobile was both beautiful and accommodating. The staff went out of their way to make this an enjoyable visit for us. I was very pleased with the beds and towels. The room was immaculate and comfortable. We had a great visit.”

• The curtains blocked all the light so I could sleep in.
• The shampoo smelled horrible.

• Attractive.
• The carpeting needed cleaning. If you walked on it you left black footprints on the light tile bathroom floor.

• Staff was uniformly pleasant.
• Air conditioning cut off at night and I could not adjust it, nor could I reach anyone in Guest Services.

“Nice hotel, close to shopping, very friendly staff, but both nights the air conditioning automatically shut off each night and I could not get the room cool again. On Saturday morning my alarm rang at 6:15 a.m., obviously from the prior guest. Bathrobe on the concierge floor was a nice touch, but towels were scratchy. The manager was very responsive to my comment card.”

• Service was not good/room was to small for money

“We were looking for a romantic weekend. They put us in a room with 2 double beds. We called and they told us they would send someone right up. When the bell hop came up he asked us if we "did anything" in the room. That was a little embarrassing to me. You could see that we did not even sit on the bed. He walked to what would be our room and the key did not work he left us in the hot hall rather than allowing us to sit in our original room. The room was very small and just did not seem to be worth the price we paid. We have had much more success purchasing a room blind for a cheaper price on hot wire.”

• Front desk staff is the best. Location is great, bell man wonderful.
• Parking could be a little better, but it's not terrible.

“Terrific front desk staff, manager involved in guests concerns, wonderful service and attention. Haven't yet tried the restaurant, but I'm certain it's on par with the rest of the service. Concierge level is wonderful, very friendly and helpful concierge staff. ”

• Doorman was friendly.
• The bed must have been 20 years old. Awful.

“I believe that the Marriott brand is slipping. I have stayed in Marriott's all over the world and the last 3 stays have been less than acceptable. I won't be staying at Marriott again.”

• Very attentive and friendly staff.
• Parking is not good. I would recommend adding valet service because of bad parking situation.

“I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. Room service breakfast was delightful, and I enjoyed lunch in the lobby restaurant. I consider this hotel a good value.”

• Great location, beautiful clean spacious rooms, and excellent friendly staff.
• No heat lamp in the bathroom, but they sometimes get too hot anyway. The iron didn't work good and leaked, but it worked well enough.

“I only have good things to say about this beautiful hotel. I hope they are added to our list of hotels we can use every year for our annual Jehovah's Witness convention at the civic center. Our attendance was over 6,000. Thank you very much for a wonderful weekend.”

• Beautiful and clean, spacious rooms, lots of little touches
• The pool area is small, no hot tub

“Very nice! Excellent service, food and amenities. I would visit again and reccommend this hotel to friends or family.”

• I requested a three star hotel, and that is exactly what I got.
• I was disappointed in the pool - not large enough, and not standard for a three star hotel

“The staff were very courteous, prompt and professional. The food was delicious. Our room was clean and cool. There was no odor from the airconditioner or elsewhere.”

• a great experience, super staff, great room, and wonderful breakfast dining room staff.
• not all the elevators seemed to be in service

• Staff was excellent, always opening doors with a smile!
• Shower could have been cleaned better.

“This was a very pleasant stay. The staff really went out of their way to help with anything from luggage to holding the elevators to giving accurate directions, and all with a smile!”

• View of the bay. Atmosphere in lobby & bar.
• A little too much furniture crammed into room. Noisy neighbor. Wouldn't let us check in early.

“Elegant lobby with first rate personnel. Everyone was very helpful and eager to please. Beautiful views of the bay and downtown in the distance. Centrally located to museums, athletic fields, colleges, shopping and restaurants.”

• I liked the down comforters that were on the bed instead of a blanket.
• The bath tub was a little dirty due to staff being short that particular day.

“We really liked the fact that the hotel replaced the regular blanket for a down comforter, also the top comforter was down filled.The Bistro had wonderful waiters and staff, and the food was enjoyable. The hotel was central to the interstate for easy access, it was located next to a mall and only a short distance from the downtown area. Overall, it was excellent.”
