• New carpet.
• Over chlorinated swimming pool, hold put on CC for incidentals.

“The hotel was OK. Would I go out of my way to stay there again. No. The pool was over chlorinated and gave me a headache and my daughters friend respiratory issues. When we got home I checked our credit card to find that they put a $20 hold on the card for incidentals. I have never had that happen and we stay at a lot of hotels.”

• Very comfortable beds.
• Not much bathroom counter space.

“This is the second time we've stayed at this hotel and thanks to Priceline. The room was comfortable, the heater/air conditioner worked well. This is a very quiet hotel, although it was crowded, we didn't hear neighbors in their rooms. There were lots of kids staying and enjoying the pool but they were not a disturbance. Staff was professional.”

• Well lit spacious lobby areas and comfortable beds.
• The TV was not opposite the bed. No microwave or refrigerator in the room.

• Quiet & close to where I needed to be.
• Breakfast costs! Even the cheap hotels do free breakfast!

“The layout is terrible. You have to lug your bags several miles to the elevator and then several more miles to your room. But all Courtyard Marriott’s are that design. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was tidy and nice-smelling and I had cable, blessed and sweet cable.”

• No refrigerator and no continental breakfast was included with room.

• Clean, good location.
• Very cold hallways, rowdy pool, not relaxing, rules not enforced.

“This was a good hotel for the price. Clean, good location, comfortable beds. Sadly, we went to the hot tub at 10:00 pm and the place was over run by kids and parents that did not provide adequate supervision. Loud screaming in the pool was unacceptable and the hotel really needs to do a better job at enforcing pool rules and curfews clearly posted on the walls.”

• Nice clean hotel with a good internet access.
• Waking me up by housekeeping 2 hours before check out time.

“I liked that hotel and I stayed there a few times already. Last stay though I had an unpleasant experience with housekeeping. A young lady pounded on my door 2 hours before the check out time. She woke me up brutally. When I complained about that to the front desk person I caused nothing but a smile on his face.”

• All the fresh water you can drink displayed in the lobby in a beautiful decanter filled with freshly sliced lemons, apples and kiwi. Nice touch.
• Road construction made access somewhat difficult.

“Clean and comfortable. They allowed my daughter to stay with us free. We enjoyed the pool. Very friendly wait staff at breakfast.”

• No fan in the bathroom, noise level (inside) fairly high.

• Very friendly staff, great bed, met expectations and more.
• The bus ride is $9 roundtrip to - from Summer fest per person.

“The hotel is very nice, friendly staff and has internet. Service for breakfast in the morning as well as free coffee and newspaper. Hotel is clean and has comfortable beds. I would highly recommend this hotel. The only inconvenience was the bus ride to/from Summer fest, as well as a $18 fee for 2 people. Still very satisfied with our stay! A+.”

• There is a nice fitness center.
• The pool was too crowded with children.

“This is a very nice place. It was clean and comfortable; however, it is a long way from downtown, and I would not want to stay here and commute into the city on weekdays. Although there were youth groups staying there, we were not bothered by noise the rooms were quite soundproof.”

• Enjoyed the showerhead and space available in the room.
• Breakfast option was overpriced.

“Nice Courtyard location with spacious rooms. Large showerheads provided for relaxing showers. No complimentary breakfast. The buffet breakfast was probably what I would consider along the lines of 'deluxe continental breakfast' so it was overpriced compared to other hotels. However, with the buffet you can order small omelets which were nice.”

• The restaurant staff was fabulous-very accommodating to my small children.
• Everything was great-no complaints!

“The hotel is perfect for any type of travel. There is an indoor pool and restaurant. I was very impressed with the staff for the breakfast buffet. The chef was wonderful-interacting with my toddler, bringing her juice in a bottle and making sure all our needs were met. I only wish we could have stayed another day!”

• Location to dining and travel is excellent, amenities such as weight room and pool/Jacuzzi nice, breakfast good.
• Only negative is heavy pool use by kids distracting if rooming across the hall.

“The staff is efficient, facilities complete location very good for what you need, breakfast was above average with cordial staff, access to room was very easy and laundry access was convenient. My entire experience was very pleasant. I stay in hotels most of each month and this was conducive to everything.”

• The last morning when hotel was more full, water started coming up the sink drain.

“If the plumbing problem is fixed (see 14) and the water would run faster in the shower, this is a decent 2 1/2 star or even 3 start hotels.”

• The bedding felt especially luxurious, and the very good free coffee in the lobby & lobby computer with internet.
• There was nothing I did not like.

“I thought this a very welcoming and clean, well decorated hotel. It is especially nice to have a computer for use in the lobby as well as very pretty pool, hot tub, etc. Just a very good experience.”

• It needs updating in public areas.

“Both I and my kids were in town for a soccer tournament. The hotel was good for the price/value proposition. It is aging, but clean. I recommend that Marriott put some money into updating the interior and pool areas.”

• Location, accessibility, swimming pool hours, and lobbies refreshments.
• The extensive maintenance ongoing with little or no respect for the guests. The bathrooms are outdated.

“Had the power washing, caulking, painting of the exterior had not been ongoing the experience would have been outstanding. At each entry was a sign taped to the floor which was meaningless unless you happened to speak some other dialect of English. I don't recall the exact wording but the Spanish translation was poor.”

• I have no complaints.

“We came in from German fest late. The staff was very polite and professional for 1:00 in the morning. There were noisy halls of kids, yet could not hear them in the room, which isn't too bad to put up with. I definitely would stay again here. Very clean hotel with plenty of towels. Have a head full of hair. I always need 2.”

• The staff was excellent in every way.
• Housekeeping was a little too anxious to get into our rooms to clean. Besides knocking on our door they called us as well.

“I was very pleased with everything. Staff went out of their way to help us find our way around Milwaukee. They changed us from a one bed room to a two bed room which was more appropriate for our needs. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The whole experience was great.”

• Good location, reasonably priced breakfast with good food, nice pool area.
• Pool should be warmer, hot tub should be warmer, beds not that comfortable.

“This hotel has a good reasonably priced breakfast, has a good location, sunny pool area, and a pleasant workout room area. The rooms need updating and the beds are not that comfortable and TV¿s are old and small with not many channels to choose from. The free internet access is nice. Cleanliness is ok at best and could be a bit better.”
