• Our maid was generous with towels; maintenance man was friendly.
• Dirty, hot common areas, worn out everything, RUDE staff, overpriced, not family-friendly, generally rundown, cheap quality all around, no amenities.

“This hotel was independently owned by obvious cheapskates! There was second-hand furniture in the common areas-worn & musty & out of date; my husband said there was no stuffing in the booth at breakfast! The entire place felt like 1 step away from a crack-hotel where you rent rooms by the hour. The staff were rude & not accommodating in any way. There were no roll-away beds or cribs but we had to pay extra for two double beds instead of 1 king for two adults, 1 child & an infant. If this hotel is a 2-star, then Motel 6 is a 4-star resort by comparison.”

“Obviously an economy hotel trying to portray itself as a better class hotel. Elevators/hallways extremely dirty. Security latches broken on doors. Easy to hear others walking above. Nasty bed covers.”

• Good price, large comfortable room.
• Poor maintenance, unresponsive staff.

“For the money, not a bad hotel, but I've stayed at better for roughly the same price. It is very convenient, but there were questionable guests and circumstances during our stay. The staff didn't seem to know what they were doing, and they really weren't customer service people, we couldn't even get extra towels! But again, if you're looking at price, it's not a bad hotel.”

• There was not anything that I liked about this hotel.
• Bed was bad, room was dirty, no pet policy, smell.

“I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It had a lot of bad looking people around. The room was dirty. The bed was worn out and the beds did not even have fitted sheets, so they would not stay on through the night.”

• Right off interstate.
• Got the room with Jacuzzi, but once Jacuzzi drained gobs of hair from other visitors were left at the bottom.

“The hotel staff was excellent. Had to change rooms because the first room was suffocating me with the smell of smoke. Hotel staff moved us quickly to another room. The hotel was an ok hotel. Jacuzzi was not inviting and it had big, gapping holes at the bottom of it. The hotel overall wasn't very appealing, but the front desk staff was really nice.”

• Liked the remodel job they did during the past year.
• Can't think of anything that I didn't like.

“I stayed here about a year ago but wasn't aware this was the same hotel until I pulled up out front. I was concerned that the remodeling may not have been completed. I was pleasantly surprised to see that, not only had the remodel went well, the riff raff were nowhere to be seen. The room was beautiful, extremely comfortable and the wireless internet worked perfectly. I would stay there again if I had to go to Mobile.”

• Continental breakfast could offer more hot food items (eggs and sausage).

• The hotel smelt like curry and smoke. the bed was so uncomfortable.

“The hotel was really stinky. The smell almost knocked us out when we walked in. Our bed was so uncomfortable. It was a very bouncy bed. Me and my man left with our backs hurting. Someone kept knocking on our door saying "room service" when we did not call for any room service. I was walking down the hall and I saw some man that worked there knocking on someone's door saying room service with food in his hands. He had on shorts and a white undershirt with no shoes on. This place was so gross.”

• Most of the light switches & shower worked.
• Halls were dark and dingy, walls in room stark, bare.

“Homeless people cooking food in the back parking lot. No security present.”

• It was convenient to the interstate, restaurants, and shopping.
• The accommodations were not up to your usual 2 star level. The beds were merely passable, lines unacceptable.

“Each area of the country must have different individuals grading the facilities because this property was not up to your usual standard. Also, I requested a two bed room and upon arrival was offered a king bed. To the best of my memory, king beds are always more expensive than a standard 2 doubles. There were two men traveling together and we required separate beds. The desk person was not American and we had a communication issue. Overall, I just was not satisfied.”

• It was convenient to the Lincoln Museum with convenient parking.
• Full size, uncomfortable beds.

“I would recommend the hotel upgrade their mattress quality, size and bedding. The room size and cleanliness was good. I did appreciate the walking convenience to historical sites and convenient parking.”

• Hotel is falling apart. Strange smell. Had to pay more upon arrival.

“Hotel is in need of upgrading. Mold\mildew on ceiling. Toilet not working properly. Smell in room was very unique. Breakfast buffet was good. Staff was friendly.”

• I liked the fact that it is close to shopping, dining, and attractions.
• The toilet was slow to flush and the doors did not open and close freely.

“This hotel has gone down since I last used it many years ago. It used to be very clean and smelled clean, now it has a musty, dirty smell in some areas. In addition, this hotel used to offer a full, hot breakfast. Now, it is a continental breakfast which closes on the dot. Also, when they ran out of milk, we were served some milk which had spoiled. The bed was lumpy and the fitted bed sheet would not stay on the mattress. I guess that is the things that you get for a hotel priced as such.”

“It was a bad experience. The room wasn't clean. There was mold on the AC fixture. The hair dryer in the room had rusted prongs. You could not turn on the hot/cold water in the sink. Was not the hotel pictured on your site? Was not offered to change rooms. The ironing board was also broken.”

“Staff gave me wrong directions to get to hotel. Then when I started to leave refused to give me a receipt for my paid stay so I could place on my expense report. I had to get involved with upper level management to get a freak in receipt. That was after over an hour on the phone with 2 absolutely useless customer service reps. It seemed their job was to put you on hold so many times that you would finally give up and hand up.”

• Room not particularly clean, hair all over the bathroom.

“Location was convenient and layout was fine. Wasn't informed of the breakfast hours and as a late night arrival I was disappointed at the 9:30 cut-off time.”

• The room was very nice/clean-some hair on bathroom floor.
• Breakfast was missing waffle batter. Pool was somewhat dirty, no shade/umbrella at poolside.

“Inquired as to whether or not we could return on Monday, July 9 and get a similar room for the same price. We were assured, but when we returned we were informed that that was not true and the room we had would be more money.”

• There was absolutely nothing to like about this hotel!
• When we first pulled up to the hotel to check-in, two squad cars were there due to a disturbance in the hotel. Also, it smelled and was dirty.

“I am so disappointed! We were unable to stay in this hotel and had to find another hotel because it was so filthy. The cops were called on people staying there, we suspected there were drug deals going on in the stairway of the hotel, and the staff and hotel was very dirty! Very disappointing!”

• The beds are very comfortable and they give you plenty of comfortable pillows.
• They do not check rooms behind the cleaning staff.

“I picked up my room key and left to go eat. Upon returning and going to the room I found the bed unmade and the room nasty, to include used towels in the bathroom. It took me explaining three times to the clerk before he switched us to another room. The room he switched us to was wonderful.”

• The room was very nice. The bed was very comfortable and had four very nice pillows.
• The room had an ironing board and a wall mount for an iron but no iron.

“Check in was super easy. The room exceeded my expectations for the price. Hotel staff was friendly. The continental breakfast was poor. ”
