• My initial room's air conditioning did not work, and staff upgraded me to a nicer room with working air conditioning quickly and without hassle.
• Did not have little shampoos in the room. But could ask for them if needed.

• The staff was courteous and they made me feel welcome.
• The room I was staying in had bed bugs, mites, or fleas. And as a result, I got bitten. I'm still working on the medication.

• Front desk staff was rude.

“We really enjoyed our trip and staying at this hotel. Check in was easy, the woman who checked us in was very nice. Check out on the other hand was not so pleasant. I had to stand at the front desk for 20 minutes because nobody was there. A sign said to use the lobby phone to call for assistance, which I did, but it just rang and rang. I finally had to walk throughout the hotel to find someone, which happened to be one of the maids; she was nice and tried to find the manager for me. Finally a guy came to the front desk and acted as if it was my fault I had to wait for him. He was very rude and because of him I couldn't give this hotel a perfect rating. Other than that, I would most definitely stay at the hotel again.”

• Convenient kitchen area and the motel was quiet.
• Because it was a leisure trip would have liked to been within walking distance of restaurants & etc.

“This motel is intended for extended stays & is equipped as such. If staying for a night, as we did, make sure to bring your own shampoo & such, as it isn't furnished. Overall, a clean, quiet motel with a friendly staff.”

• Loved having a suite even though it was small.
• Not the cleanest hotel I have been in (not the dirtiest either).

“We just needed a place for quick nights stay. Not the cleanest hotel I have ever been in but it served its purpose. The bed was comfortable. I was glad to have access to a refidgerator. The AC wasn't working great in the room.”

• Room dirty and quality of bedding was poor.

“The studio suite layout of the room is a good idea but the condition of it was poor. Had to move from first room because there was pet hair on chair/ottoman. It was obvious that there's never any real thorough cleaning (bathroom, kitchen area). The window screen was torn up so I couldn't open the window. Hallways were dirt and cluttered.”

• The desk clerk gave me ice out of the employee break room.
• No shampoo, no ice, no rollaway beds. Full sized bed instead of queen.

“Probably an ideal hotel for a business traveler who doesn't need much and who likes to cook in their room. Full sized bed was a first in a hotel. So was no shampoo or ice machine. Traveling with my wife and daughter, I would have not stayed here if I knew it was going to give me a full sized bed in a single room. I slept on the floor. The hotel was nice enough to give me ice out of the employee break room and an extra set of sheets to sleep on the floor though. Other than that, the worst experience I've ever had staying at a hotel.”

“Location and our purposes was excellent. The hotel has no amenities (pool, food, exercise, meetings). The rooms are only serviced once a week. Staff was helpful, friendly and met expectations. Noise was an occasional issue. But the price met our expectations for the trips purpose.”

• If I were staying for longer time, the Kitchen would have come in handy.

“I have stayed in cheaper hotels that were 10 to 20 times better. As for most extended stays go the accommodations were as expected, but the cleanliness of the room was very poor. When we got there the room had not been cleaned before we got there, and we were not given another room, nor was it clean while we were there.”

• The staff they went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable.
• The pillows. They were not fluffy. They were flat and kind of hard.

“What the hotel lacked the staff made up for it. I worked as a sales administrator at the Double Tree Downtown Memphis. So I have experience in customer service at a hotel. The staff at the Double Tree can not hold a candle to the staff this hotel. From the day I checked in to the day I checked out I was treated well. I do have to give a special "kudos". I locked my keys in my truck, he promptly assisted me. In this day and time, good customer service is rare. The staff deserve a blue ribbon.”

• The hotel I stayed in was very pet friendly. The great savings was amazing as well! Very helpful staff.
• Not a big area for business, no conference room. Having to pay for internet.

“I will definitely be staying in this hotel again! The rate at which we got it for is unbeatable. I love that I can bring my dog with me too. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I just wish that we had more room for business and/or a conference room we could go to and utilize.”

“They said no problem with getting 2 beds in room. Then called on way. They said no problem with 2 beds. When we got there at 1:00 am, man was very rude. He said none was available--only a king size was. Not customer friendly AT ALL! The place was also dirty and stinky.”

• Location was good, hotel overall was looks to be in a corporate location.
• First room I was given was hard to get in. Given another room and it was dirty. Did not complain waiting on survey.

“Hotel over all seem to be ok. My room experience was not great. Given two room and I had a problem with both. Hotel should provide paper cup. Everyone does not like drink out of the same cups. Even if you have to watch them. Everyone is not clean. If you are staying over night paper supplies are good.”

• It was in a quite location away from the freeway.
• The room needed detail cleaning. The wireless internet was less than desirable.

“It is in a good location. Off the freeway and is quite. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean but not deeply cleaned. The corners in the bathroom needed attention. The door to the bathroom needed replacing. The grout in the bath was discolored. The wireless internet was horrible.”

• Lights over bed and remote did not work. Bath was basic and not terribly clean.

“Overall the staff of this hotel was very nice and concerned when I called to complain about the lights over the bed and the remote not working. I chose not to change rooms as I was too tired. The bathroom was very basic but there was a lot of mildew in the bath tub. The room looked much worn and could use an updating of just about everything.”

“I was forced to book at a neighboring hotel when the hotel I was placed at did not have any rooms with more than one bed. Apparently they only have rooms w/ full size beds and have only one roll out bed that was in use. Therefore I not only lost the money I paid for that room, I was at the mercy of the hotel next door for any room available at whatever price they wanted to charge.”

“Every time we stay here we tell ourselves that it's only a 2 star. That helps us put up with things that are not just right. If someone needed to stay in the room for most of the day, Id say go somewhere else. But it's great for a quick stay & a place to sleep. Kitchen area is good for the hungry ones!”

• Clean, large room. Kitchenette.
• Does not have daily housekeeping service. That is unacceptable to me. No shampoo in the room. One does not expect that. Too basic of service.

“It is ok for one night, if you bring your own shampoo. If you are staying two nights, stay someplace else, because after a long day out making money you come back to your hotel room to find that the bed is not made and the towels are still laying on the bathroom floor where you left them. This hotel is intended for extended stay guests, not travelers for one or two nights. Unacceptable.”
