• The Kitchen.
• Did not have a pool or hot tub.

“The hotel over all was moderate. I recommend that you bring your own food (they have snacks and things but are very pricey), coffee, coffee filters, towels (the ones there are hard). This Location dose not have a pool or a hot tub so be prepared. They also charge 4.99 per stay to use the wireless internet (it's very slow) about 11.0 MBPS. They say that they provide cooking utensil's but they only give you two forks, spoons, bowls, plates, coffee cups, cups, a bad can opener and one pan to cook with. So if you plan on using more than the microwave, you should bring a few more things. I will have to say that have a small Kitchen was nice for a longer stay.”

“Large, comfortable accommodations with full kitchen in great location but no breakfast, pool, or exercise room (can use nearby Ballys, however) would be great for longer stay.”

• Its in a great location - outside, halls and lobby are very nice.
• My room wasn't fresh - musty and dusty - slept in my clothes because it didn't feel freshly cleaned.

“I don't think things were bad - the hotel just needs to know to correct the problem - and I did fill out their survey as well. It's bad enough we have to be on the road, but a room that doesn't smell or feel clean just adds to the frustration of business travel.”

“It was a decent place to stay nice and peaceful away from the hustle and bustle. Housekeeping did not clean the bathroom very well the toilet had water stains and around the toilet was very nasty.”

• Problems with toilet. No one at desk to report to.

“The hotel allowed us to receive our keys early, though we wouldn't actually be getting into our room until after midnight. When we returned, we found the room to be clean, well stocked and large. The bathroom had some immediate repair issues needed, but no one was at the desk late at night, nor at 8:00 in the morning when we left, so the problem went unreported. Great location, comfortable bed, and hot shower. That's what we were looking for and found.”

• There was only one bed and I needed to have two.

“The clerk at the front desk was only mildly helpful and was not very sympathetic to my need for a second bed. The hotel was full up and there was not much he could do but he could have been more sympathetic.”

“It was located in a nice area with many stores and shops in walking distance. It sits atop a hill in a nice location. It has a wonderful kitchen and it was clean and cheap. What more can one hope for?”

• Convenient location to shops and restaurants, the whole hotel and parking areas were very clean and comfortable.

“The room was ready for us when we arrived. It was clean and more spacious than we expected. The customer service clerk was very courteous and informative. I would most definitely stay at this hotel again, as well as recommend to friends.”

“Nobody at the front desk after a certain hour of the night. We attempted to call down at around 10:30p to inquire about a swimming pool but got a recorded message that the front desk was closed.”

• Rundown, smelled of smoke, terrible bed, rooms not ready.

“Booked 2 rooms for our friends and us. So disappointed. Requested 2 beds. Sorry, we have a construction crew at the hotel for 12 months; they have all the rooms with 2 beds. Requested non smoking, rooms smelled of smoke. Arrived after a 5 hour trip and 3 pm, and rooms were not cleaned. Hotel was full, they said, and had only 2 cleaning ladies. Young adults at the desk, very un-business like. Didn't care, and didn't help. Very, very, upsetting.”

“The price is great until you add on their charge for upgrading to two beds- because one bed was too uncomfortable for 2 people, charge for housekeeping (not included), and internet charge. We were there visiting our son in the hospital and needed to get our rest. That didn't happen.”

• I found from the room to the staff to be a very negative experience.

“The floors were very dirty. The sheets were wrinkled and ripped. The room smelled. The bed spread smelled of smoke and was faded, dingy, and had several cigarette holes. The dishes were dirty. The staff was rude and offered no extra help for the customer. I found my experience here to be very negative. I had to change my lodging for my 3 month stay here in Wisconsin. I do not recommend a stay here for any length of time.”

• Sheets had cigarette holes in them, wrinkled to point that I worried they might not have been changed and had two pieces of hair.

“Liked the rate of $39, Ryan was very nice. When I indicated I couldn't stay in a room that smelled so strongly of smoke, he indicated that previous customer staying there smoked continuously. He moved us to another smoking room not as bad (I have asthma). The glasses smelled funny and the sheets were wrinkled. Bathrooms clean. Nice, convenient location.”

“Not willing to reserve non smoking or 2 beds. I called 4 times to try. It was awful! We stayed in Brookfield and had an awesome stay at the Sheraton for $18 a night less and it was wonderful! Every room stunk! Bugs in the tub! Dirty toilet paper. Rude staff. 3 rooms booked together no where near each other! This was an awful experience!”

• Hair Dryers, large bathroom sink, comfortable beds, good coffee.
• No desk. Need to do anything office-related in the kitchen, on a bar stool.

“The beds are comfortable, the coffee very good (I like it strong), and even though it was a smoking room, the hotel staff had cleaned it well, and there were no odors. (We are nonsmokers who hadn't specified when we made our reservations). It was nice to see a hairdryer in the bathroom, as some of the other hotels in this chain do not have them. My only concern is for the business traveler. All the work needs to be done, essentially, on the kitchen table, which is part of the large kitchen area.”

• There was a cockroach on our floor that we had to kill!

“The room seemed clean enough, but then we did have to kill a cockroach. Ugh. I guess one of those can get most anywhere, but it left me will the shudders. There were no dishes in the kitchen area, so if we had wanted to use the kitchen, it would have been hard. There was soap for the bathroom, but no shampoo.”

• The room kept getting smokier and smellier each day and staff didn't care.

“Ok if you don't need a friendly staff to help you. They also were not there later in the evening. The smoke odor was so overpowering and I needed to keep the bath fan all night to clear the air.”

“Rooms were not ready at 3 PM as promised - one of the two rooms we reserved had mold/mildew in the shower, both rooms reeked of smoke despite being non-smoking rooms. It's a good thing it was so cheap as I would have asked for a refund had I not booked.”

• If it was clean, extended stays would be great. Full kitchen.
• Dirty. little run down. needed touch-ups through out hotel.

“Crappy. carpets were filthy. looked like the hadn't been vacuumed or cleaned in a long time. stains and even "chunks" were stuck into the carpet. chips missing from paint and on cabinets and counter tops. no shampoo and little soap. stains on walls by trash cans. just gross really. if they cleaned it up, it would be great if you were staying more than one night.”

• Room was very plain and a little "sterile".

“Clean and comfortable. Good location for short drive to Miller Park with lots of dining options nearby. Other than having kitchen area for longer staying travelers, it was a bit stark. Though not really necessary, shampoo in room would have been nice. Front desk staff wasn't unfriendly, but seemed a little disconnected and businesslike.”

• No amenities (shampoo, in-room coffee), housekeeping for added fee.

“ In the past year, we've booked 4 or 5 stays in this area. Usually we get the Hampton Inn or Baymont. Both of these offer free hot breakfast and in-room wifi Internet free of charge. This place had no features or benefits, and charged if you wanted housekeeping service. Additionally, the first room assigned hadn't been serviced - bed was unmade, dishes in the sink and food on the counter. It was disgusting! (Arrival time was approximately 5:00pm). ”

• Poor night staff. Room was worn.

“We had arranged for a late night (1am) check-in, and were told that the desk closed at 10pm, but a night employee would be able to check us in. When we arrived, nobody answered the phone for over 30 min. We were about to leave, or sleep in our car, when an employee finally happened to walk past the front desk area. The room was a little worn (torn furniture, dirty/chipped walls, etc.) and had only one bed instead of the two I'd asked for. But it was so late that we made do with what we had. The next morning, the manager was accommodating and gave us a coupon for a free stay when I told him about the experience.”

• The "pantry" closes at 10pm, most hotels with pantries, they are open 24 hours.
