“Great place for a one-night stay. I have had better continental breakfasts at other hotels in the chain. Don't know if I would recommend for an extended stay.”

• Very willing and able to fill our room change request to first floor when we checked in.
• In the room next to us the people came in at 3:00 am and their loud talking woke us up coming through the wall.

“All in all it was a very pleasant stay. Nice breakfast area, pleasant hotel manager. The hotel has recently changed over from another chain and they are busy upgrading things. It is located conveniently off the Interstate. The intersection is quite busy, so it was a little hard at first to find it. Would stay there again and recommend it to family and friends.”

• Room had terrible smell to it- waffle maker was broken for breakfast.

“We had stayed in other La Quintas and this was an amazing surprise! We know that this property was recently purchased by LaQuinta, so maybe that made a difference, but it was a much higher quality than we expected. The only downfall was the room did have quite a smell to it- but we were able to sleep with the windows open. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the lobby was pretty for a 2 star hotel. The waffle maker was broken for the continental breakfast, so we did go elsewhere to eat- but they did have other cereal choices if we had stayed.”

• Bed & pillows were GREAT. Plenty of room in the room. Breakfast was good.
• We were put into a smoking room .. we are not smokers.

“This was an excellent place to stay and the price was even better, especially during the Wisc. State Fair. Strongly recommend the La Quinta Hotel, Wisc.”

• The wireless did not work, the room had a stained carpet.

“The was an acceptable room for one night for business trip. The wireless did not work and the carpet was dirty in the room. Breakfast was good, staff was friendly.”

“This hotel is great for me as I do not spend a lot of time here, except for sleeping. The hotel is cleaner than I remember it when it was a Baymont.”

• The continental breakfast was good. the staff person was very busy keeping all items available.
• Very poor water pressure in the shower. The pulse mode on the shower head didn't work.

• The breakfast was good; lots of choices.
• Evening clerk didn't know, couldn't supply movies for theater next door.

• Walked into room and smoke smell was so bad my eyes watered.

“Our room was so smoke smelly that my eyes hurt. We went to talk to the front desk about changing rooms and she said you got it online so you take what you get! That was uncalled for. With a little persuasion my husband finally got us a different room, and that one was filthy. I cleaned it myself and we stayed in there. Not a pleasant stay at all.”

• The best sleep I have ever had in a motel. Mattress was softer and more comfortable than what I have usually experienced.
• The sink and vanity location right beside the room door did not give a sense of privacy.

“The hotel as well as our room was well maintained and clean. The service was friendly. The complimentary breakfast was actually good with fresh fruit included. I would not hesitate to go back.”

• Traffic to downtown Milwaukee is very heavy. Expect 45 to 60 minutes on a weekday morning.

“It's a decent place. The staff was friendly and the location right off I-94 is convenient to the west suburbs. There are quite a few places to eat within a short drive.”

“Overall, the stay was okay. Carpet was stained by door way and the sink. There were ants in our bathroom. I couldn't get the shower to work at first. I would not go back most likely, but the staff was friendly.”

• Price. The rooms were pretty spacious.
• Continental breakfast was gross!!

“Usually the hotels are excellent but this property was pretty disappointing. The main desk staff seemed pretty inept to answer questions or help a traveler in any way. The continental breakfast was suppose to have hard boiled eggs on it and they never showed up. The beagles were obviously not fresh and were hard around outside. The waffles stuck to the waffle iron and there was no staff present to help with that issue. The coffee was watered down!! Breakfast didn't start until 7 am on Saturday which makes it very hard on travelers who have to get on the road or have to be at early morning sporting events. They don't have roll away beds at this hotel which I thought was a hotel standard. My children ended up sleeping on the floor because of no roll away.”

“Though the staff was friendly enough, we were in a room that was not real clean. I could see heavy dust on furniture in areas behinds lamps and on lamps, etc. The phone in our room was not working correctly. I could call out but it would not ring with incoming calls. We were trying to help our daughter pack and move and needed to be able to receive phone calls from her. Finally, another family member with a cell phone was able to communicate for us. The staff at the front desk said they would try to "ring" the room. After an hour I called the front desk and they said 'yes' they tried. I told them it did not ring. I had to follow through. After that they did send someone to the room and the phone was replaced. This was about 1 hour before it was time for us to check out!”

• Very tiny ants ( about 25-30 ) on the desk and one in the bed

“We had to pay $5.00 extra for a king size bed. The hotel sprayed for the ants, but they came back. We were moved to another room after two nights. They did credit us $10.00. Very small sink area. No bench for baggage storage. Limited towels available. Room heating unit was quiet and effective.”

• It was quiet and not crowded.
• There was not a pool and the television selection was not up to par with other Baymont hotels. Breakfast did not include any fruit, healthy selection.

“A good place to stay if you are only going to sleep, shower and grab a quick bagel before continuing on your journey.”

• Wide room, lobby breakfast, washer and dryer in hall, clean, pleasant staff.
• Slow elevator, a little worn around the edges, not luxury, but then I didn't pay for luxury.

“You get what you pay for here. The decor is standard, no frills. It's an okay value for their standard rate.”

• The hotel moved us into a clean room the next day.
• We were put in a dirty room with the staff's knowledge that it was dirty.

“The room that we had the first night was dirty and we were told that the day that we were to leave they were going to have it cleaned properly. Why did they put us in a dirty room in the first place. When we told the staff, she just shrugged her shoulders. The next day after we told the morning staff we were put in a new room.”

“The site was easily accessable right next to off ramp of Interstate Hwy, Even though our room faced the off ramp "approx 100 feet" from it, but it was surprisingly quiet. The check in staff was indifferent and could care less that they did not have the room type we reserved and basically said, here is what we got take it or leave it. The general appearence of the site at first seemed to be well maintained but only took a few moments in the site to see that only surface and general cleaniness and absolute building maintenance was conducted.”

“The hotel was just fine for my needs--basically, a comfortable bed, coffee in the morning, and a functioning shower. I did not need amenities, so I don't know what the hotel had. The room itself was actually nicer than I would have expected--the artwork was legitimately attractive (an unusual thing).”
