• Had to pay for internet access if not on first floor, that's where the wireless was.

• Outstanding value given price, quality of facility and service.
• No negative comments.

“If you are staying in Milwaukee and if an outlying location suits your needs, the Marriott Pewaukee is clearly the best hotel you could possibly choose. Clean, quiet, nice exercise and pool facilities, nice, spacious restaurant. Remember that Milwaukee is a convenient, compact city and getting around is generally easy. The only exception is getting Downtown at the present time (the freeway is under construction) so if your activities or business are Downtown, Id recommend the Hyatt.”

• Very friendly staff, always smiling and accommodating.
• Breakfast buffet was not full and the chef disappeared so we could not get omelets or waffles made.

“The staff is friendly and courteous. Everything was clean and inviting. The breakfast buffet was very disappointing for the price since it was not fully stocked to begin with. At $12.00 a person it was a little pricey for just potatoes OBrien, cereal, and sweet rolls. If the buffet closes at a certain time they should let you know that when you order instead of just having the chef disappears.”

“This hotel was located right off the highway but in a remote location. The hotel lobby was very attractively appointed. The room was nicely furnished with very comfortable beds & bedding. The room service menu was priced fairly, and they had the best crème Brulee I have ever had. I got a great deal on this hotel and would stay there again.”

• The staff was very helpful and the pool was open late great for kids.
• There were not enough lights in the parking lot to provide security for people/vehicles.

“My kids and I found it very accommodating and enjoyed swimming. The staff was very friendly and helpful as everyone we passed said hello. It would have been nice to have a fridge and microwave in the room, as we arrived late and brought food and drink with, but had nowhere to keep it overnight so it went bad. I kept the phone # in my cell and will stay there again.”

• Rooms were very clean and bed was comfortable with new linens.
• Server at restaurant never arrived to pick up our bill.

“Convenient location immediately off the expressway. Check-in was very quick and desk staff was friendly. Lobby and public areas were clean. Room was large, clean, and had big full length windows to outside. King size bed had new sheets and comforter and was very comfortable. Checkout via the TV did not work, so we had to check out at the front desk. Breakfast buffet was very tasty with lots of options, although once our bill was delivered, our server disappeared and we had difficulty finding someone to pay the bill to. A chef was available at the buffet to cook up omelets and answer questions.”

• A non smoking building!
• Smokers were congregated at the front entrance, sometimes 15or more. As a non smoker I had to pass by them.

• It smelled great. Reminded me of being at a nice spa.
• A little too far from downtown Milwaukee, but not too bad.

“Overall, this is a great hotel. The restaurant and bar had above average food with great service. The pool is indoors (nice in Wisconsin) and the hot tub was spacious and never crowded. The beds were soft and very comfortable. I enjoyed everything about the hotel. I did not have a laptop with me, but I think the only bad thing was having to pay for Internet. Not sure of this, so please verify it before you go.”

• Hotel was quiet and clean and conveniently located.
• Housekeeping removed the little bottle of shampoo and never replaced it. They also put one of our personal pillows on top of a wet beach towel.

“Other than the shampoo and wet pillow issue, the hotel was very nice, quiet and clean and the staff was friendly.”

“For the price we paid, this was a very nice hotel. We do not understand why the sir conditioning stopped during the middle of the night. This caused our room to be quite hot during the night.”

• Front dust staff not very helpful. Also tied up my credit card with a high authorization amount for incidentals.

They also charged a large amount to my credit card for authorization for incidentals. Then charged my card for the actual charges also. This tied up my card. Overall, this was a nice hotel. ”

• Bellman very attentive and friendly. Hotel was immaculate. We enjoyed the comfy bed linens and the swimming pool the most!
• There is nothing we did not like about this hotel.

“This is the nicest hotel our family has stayed at. It was immaculate in cleanliness. The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The amenities were wonderful. The lobby was very beautiful. The bed linen was extremely comfortable and clean. The housekeepers did a great job in our room daily. Also the bathrooms were immaculate which is hard to find at a hotel! I would recommend this hotel to anyone. ”

• The facility is attractive, nicely decorated, excellent pool.

• Hotel staff was extremely accommodating and made many unsolicited offers of assistance.
• I was spoiled by the accommodations! The following hotel in Chicago did not compare to this hotel; I felt disappointed and wanted the Marriott.

• Great place to stay! Staff was very accommodating!
• My hotel room was promised to not smell like smoke, but it did! The pool was too cold to swim in.

“The staff was very professional and accommodating. I needed a fridge and they brought one up to the room ASAP. I ordered Chinese and the Chinese place forgot our forks, so the hotel staff brought us up silverware to our room for us. The only things I didn't like was that my boyfriend wanted a smoking room, but I didn't because I didn't want the room to start out smelling, but the receptionist promised it would smell as you first walk in, but it did! I sprayed my perfume everywhere and that helped a little. The pool was very cold. I couldn't stay in it very long. The hot tube was nice!”

• Lush bedding, even my children couldn't wait to leave the pool and get in bed.
• No fridge or micro or wiFi in room.

“A true example of the quality you expect when you stay here. When you aren't able to sleep in your own bed you can sleep in sleep in one that is even better. Everything was clean, neat, beautifully designed. It is where we go for our last vacation of the summer.”

• It is west of Milwaukee and would not be a great selections for downtown activities.

• Shortage of children channels nor was there a channel guide.

“Lovely, clean hotel. Nice hours on pool/exercise room. Personally, I found beds to be too soft, son liked them. 13-year-old son lacked his favorite channels (only cartoon network) and there was not a channel guide, not even HBO guide (constant surfing). For the room price, I thought $10/day charge for Internet access was high. I have been remodeling the house and was looking for a nice hotel to just lounge in luxury for the weekend (escape construction zone). This was not the place for that thinking, ideal for business traveler, but not children.”

• It was clean and stylish. Beds were good and there was plenty of space in the room.
• Kind of far from Downtown and Activities, but close to restaurants I guess.

“Everything was great. There wasn't a continental breakfast but the buffet looked good. The Internet connection was at a charge for guests. I had to use it but we were not charged. This hotel offered everything and more than we needed.”

• Restaurant opens a bit late on weekends, 6 am would be preferable at least on Saturday.

“This is an outstanding hotel. It is clean, with upscale accommodations, room appointments and amenities. Quality toiletries, towels, bed linens and restaurant food. The service is outstanding and very accommodating to special requests. I would highly recommend this hotel and this was a wonderful place.”

• Big room, great amenities, good location.
• Could use a better restaurant, or something more casual and pub-like.

“Excellent hotel. I had a king size bed and the room was large. Everything was clean and the amenities were very nice quality. Toiletries from Bath and Body Works, a robe in the closet, a nice white rug by the bathroom sink in the bathroom, lots of pillows on the bed and even a tea pot. My room was quiet and the stay was a very pleasant one. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.”

• While I stayed there, I enjoyed the free use of their business center to look up information on the provided computer. Quite convenient.
• The only downside to the hotel is that it's located in the middle of nowhere, but there are several places just down the freeway.

• I was a very elegant hotel.

“It was a great hotel. Probably the best I had ever stayed in. I would not recommend bringing very young children though. I have twin boys that are almost two and the hotel staff was great about helping out with them. I would like to go there again but without the twins.”
