• Clean quiet and a safe enviroment!
• A bit tricky to get to due to construction and heavy traffic.

“The hotel was clean and very roomy. The beds were extremely comfortable. There was plenty of room to spread out and relax. With two televisions my son could relax and watch sports and my daughter and myself could relax and watch what we wanted. The added security of entrance from outside using our room key was comforting since we were travelling without my husband.”

• Bathroom door did not close all the way.

“The hotel is conveniently located near several restaurants and not far away from the Fox Valley Mall. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool and whirlpool were also nice. The hotel was very clean. The suite has a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker.”

• Nice pool, nice breakfast included.
• Left a dress in room, staff unhelpful in returning it.

“This hotel was nice and quiet, clean, nice breakfast, pool area, games for kids, etc. Also, good location, close to mall and restaurants. My one complaint is that I forgot a dress in the room and know right where I left it. I called the hotel the next two days and the staff was extremely unhelpful in finding it much less returning it. So, even though it was my fault in forgetting something, I feel this hotel is terrible in customer service.”

• Cleanliness, design & décor. Features in the hotel and room. Hot breakfast with real eggs, easy computer and printer access.
• All was great.

“Excellent hotel & service. Very nice exercise room. Hot breakfast with real eggs. Friendly service, easy access for shopping, travel, leisure. Bed was very comfortable. Hotel had excellent decor which was very inviting. Room was small but very nicely done with a Queen bed and sofa sleeper in a separate area of the room (like a den) for guests. Have already recommended the hotel to a friend and will continue to do so. I would definitely stay again.”

• The staff was very friendly and the rooms had more amenities than we expected.
• The decor is a little outdated.

“I have stayed at this hotel 2x now - I really got a lot of bang for my buck - the second time I stayed there, they upgraded my room free of charge because they recognized that I had just recently stayed there - I would go back no questions asked.”

• Free breakfast.
• Carpet was steam cleaned in our first room so it was still wet, had to get a different room.

“Great hotel, great location, the room they gave us had just had the carpet shampooed and the steam cleaner was left behind, the floor was still a little wet and the staff suggested Oh, is that going to be a problem? When we said "Umm, yeah, we can't set anything on the floor and don't want to get our socks wet." They did give us a different room and the rest of the stay was fine, especially the complimentary breakfast.”

• Quiet, clean and comfortable rooms.
• Toilet was stopped up in one of our rooms, but staff came right away to fix it when called.

“I would recommend staying at this hotel when visiting Appleton. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The location is convenient for shopping and eating. They had a great breakfast included in the room price. I would stay there again.”

• It was pretty quiet, staff was very accommodating.
• Room was very warm 80degrees a/c didn't work and they couldn't turn it on because the boiler was still on, then the next day didn't have heat either.

“Was very nice, except room was very warm over 80degrees and they couldn't fix it, something about the boiler was still on? Then the next 2 days it snowed and we had no heat! When we asked for the bedding to be changed it wasn't. But the room was very nice, and the front desk took $10 off the price of the rm. If these issues hadn't happened we would have rated excellent. Had a great breakfast also.”

• I liked the breakfast, the appearance of the hotel when you walked in and the friendliness of the staff that I inter-acted with.
• I have a bad back and for me the mattress had some spots that were hard for me to lie on.

“I enjoyed my experience at this hotel. It was clean and there were safety measures in place. I liked the decor of the hotel as well. All in all I had a very good experience at this hotel, as did those I was with.”

• The swimming pool is very large for a hotel pool.
• Continental breakfast was lacking.

“Our room was huge. This room would have been great for a vacation. We just used it for a one night get away. Separate bedroom from living quarters and have a kitchenette with a dish washer.”

“Found the staff was very friendly and the continental breakfast was quite good. The room however left much to be desired. Cabinets doors very worn with 1 ready to fall. The bedding was deplorable - terrible mattress, weak pillows and a sheet we found torn. The parking lot had 2 separate pot holes deep enough to do damage with no warnings at all.”

“Room was very nice and spacious with a wet bar separating the bed area from the living area. Bathroom was a little cramped. Everything clean. Very good morning breakfast with plenty of space to eat. Very nice recreational facilities, except the sauna did not work. Additional recreation area - pool tables, ping pong, air hockey - also a very nice addition. We were very pleased with what we got for our money!”

• It's in the middle of everything! You have your choice of the mall or any restaurant.
• You could tell that the room hadn't been thoroughly cleaned. There were coffee spots on the bathroom floor.

“We have stayed here many times, and for the price that you pay, it's a great hotel. You get a full breakfast for free, the pool is nice and clean, and the location is great! You definitely will not run out of things to do.”

• I had surgery at a near by hospital; thats why I was there, my husband liked it because we were in a suite, and could go to the outer room as not to disturbed.

• Poor maintenance - wallpaper tears, etc.

“This is my second time in this particular hotel. Both rooms were very spacious and the beds comfortable. There were several maintenance issues in both rooms. Simple to fix things like a hole in the wall, tears in wallpaper, etc.”

• Lobby was beautiful, nice suites with separate bedroom with two queen beds.
• Confusing as to what La Quinta to go to there is another one next to this one that was a Budgeter previously.

“Good location, very nice rooms and lobby/sitting area. Very clean. Nice staff. I like the separate bedroom and living room. Had a refrigerator, microwave and sink in between rooms. Numerous restaurants close by some within walking distance. Nice pool area. Nice breakfast.”

• We were very pleased with room and the extras included in the room!
• The pool was being replastered, so we were a little disappointed in not being to swim.

“The hotel was friendly helpful and in a great area. Close to shopping and the conference that we attended. When we visit the area again we will stay at this hotel!”

• Very nice public spaces and rooms.
• The pool area was closed for repairs.

“This was a very nice La Quinta hotel. The room I stayed in only had a queen bed, but had a separated sitting area and sleeping area. It also had a refrigerator and microwave. The pool/hot tub were closed for remodeling while we were there, unfortunately. The dining/recreation area was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was nothing special, but nice to have available. The hotel also offers free internet which is nice. Overall a nice stay.”

• This was a roomy suite that allowed us to gather with fellow travelers.
• Tiny bath soaps and scratchy toilet paper. Otherwise excellent!

• I was impressed by the room. I did not expect such a large room for the price.
• Because the hotel is set up like a campus, it is a little confusing at first.

“My experience was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was able to get all my questions answered. My only complaint is that it was so busy, it was hard to get through to the front desk.”

“This is the third time we've stayed at a La Quinta, and each time we have been more than satisfied. Our most recent visit was no exception; very friendly front desk staff, the room was much larger than expected and as usual everything was in good order and the room had been thoroughly cleaned. The hot breakfast was nice as well. We will definitely be back!”

• Best rooms for a business traveler to Appleton- I've been coming for six months. Much better than Radisson!
• Breakfast was so-so but plentiful.

“Great pool and hot tub. Large rooms with plenty of room for a business traveler. TVs allow for external (IPOD) video/audio in, which is important to me for the Monday-Friday stays. Applebee's in right next store and a decent steak house across the parking lot- both allow call in orders to take away. This location is not 'downtown' but rather a very easy, straight-show down College Avenue drive to it. This hotel beats the Radisson (four stars? Loll) for value, services, room quality and comfort.”

• The size of the room and the balcony. Very private.
• The entrance was a little hard to find from the main road.

“We had a wonderful experience at the hotel. We stayed there in order to go to a Packer game the next day. The room was quiet and very comfy. The view from the balcony was like a winter wonderland! We would stay there again without question.”

• The breakfast, pool and hot tub, the suite with frig and wet bar.
• They used to have a free cocktail hour but they don't anymore.

“It was great we found out they would accept our dogs with no added cost. The whole place was clean, quiet and made you feel you were staying at a high class hotel. The breakfast was great with make you own waffles, fruit, eggs. Pool and hot tub. They have a fire pit in a court yard that can be used in the summer.”

“The hotel staff was very helpful, and called to make sure we were happy with our room. I have never before had some ask if I liked the room. It was the cleanest, and freshest smelling hotel room I have ever stayed in.”

“The room I was given was much nicer then expected, the pool was warm, the staff was friendly. I had to look for a down side but it was that the hot tub was very small so I never got a chance to use it, the breakfast bar was less healthy then others, and the timer on the waffle maker woke me up.”

• Over all it was a comfortable, easy, just right.
• My wife arrived at the breakfast area a few minutes before 10 am (closing time) and everything was put away and she was told, "we close at 10".
