• Good quality.
• No free breakfast, no lobby area with tables to be able to bring in food and eat (the tables were set for the next morning with glasses and coffee cups).

• The rooms seemed clean and it was quiet liked having a couch in the room.
• The desk chair was broken; thought there should be a free breakfast like other hotels paid enough money for OT.

“I liked the hotel fine however when you think of a Courtyard you think higher quality. This hotel was nice. I have stayed at cheaper hotels that were nicer than this one and also got a free breakfast every morning.”

• The front desk lady was very nice.
• Very hard to find.

“Our room was very small. We had called the hotel directly and requested a room with 2 beds, since we were traveling with our niece. We were given a king. So, my niece had to sleep on the couch. It is a little confusing to find the hotel since it is not on the main road. The lady at the front desk was very nice, and the hotel was basically clean.”

• Free warm chocolate chip cookies at check in!
• No complaints.

“The hotel was not on the main drag, so it was a little difficult to find at night. The room was clean, comfortable, and well decorated. Warm chocolate chip cookies were a welcome surprise when we checked in. I would definitely stay again!”

• Coffee, hot chocolate and tea available all the time.
• The pool area was cold and I really appreciate a complimentary breakfast.

“We checked in and this is the last hotel on our trip. We had great service everywhere, but when we checked in here, we asked for a king bed instead of two, double beds and the women said she couldn't change anything. I told her that all the other hotels made changes for us and she said they could not and would not.”

“I went down and started breakfast that first morning. I had taken about two bites when a waitress from hell asked me if I had a voucher. I said I didn't know I needed one.”

“We were somehow led to believe that there was included a complimentary hot breakfast. After we ate minimally from the buffet we were handed a check for over twenty dollars for about a three dollar meal. Very disappointing. Will ask more questions if there is a next time.”

“Hotel was very clean and attractive. It looked high class, but we were shocked when the TV was only about 17 inches. Not a lot of extras. Bed was very comfortable.”

“When we checked into the hotel no one told us that the breakfast was not included - the next morning we sat down and ate a wonderful buffet breakfast - then we were served a bill $9.95 each! What a shocker!”

• Hard to find. There are no signs off the main street; the hotel is hidden behind trees, and other buildings.

“Our trip was satisfactory. I found out that there is not a free breakfast in the morning. We could eat there, but they would charge us $9.95 per person. I think that is horrible. I think the breakfast should come along with it.”

• Standard level of quality you'd expect at a Courtyard by Marriott
• No breakfast buffet, and no signs telling you the buffet is $10.

“My wife went down to the breakfast area not knowing the meal was not included in the rate. She got a bowl of cereal and a waitress came up to her and informed her the cereal would be $3. While this was not out of line, it was mildly embarrassing to my wife. I think the hotel should put up a sign on the buffet explaining it is $10 and that individual items can be had for separate prices. This hotel is also rather difficult to find and the signage on the main road is inadequate. Beyond those complaints, the room was clean and the quality was fine for a 2.5 star.”

“As far as Paducah goes this is a nice area and an Okay hotel but the rooms seem broken down (more than one would expect of a courtyard by Marriott) and the front desk/reservation agent was very rude about our room preference. Things in room didn't all work and for some reason hotel staff don't make a habit of using trash bags (leaving the guest to see/use dirty trash cans). Indoor pool looked okay.”

• The staff was very friendly.
• There was a party of young boys that was left unsupervised.

“In general the stay was pleasant. The party of the young boys was disturbing because they slammed the doors late at night and early in the morning. They were unsupervised in the pool area so that I had to remove my children so that they would not get hurt.”

• The rate I got this room at was reasonable.
• It took until after 4:00 for us to be able to use our room.

“After being kept out of a room until after 4:00, the person working at the desk didn't even apologize that our room wasn't ready. Our toilet would flush correctly. There was always the fear that it would overflow.”

• We had to call the front desk to get the mature channels taken off our TV.

• Very clean, nice staff.
• The room we were put in was right by the elevator shaft.

“Hotel was nice, but the room we were put in was right behind the elevator shaft so we could hear the elevator all night. Luckily we were very tired due to a late arrival so we slept through some of it. Definitely made us feel that we were "getting what we paid for". We arrived at 2am so I was not going back down to the desk to complain.”

• Location off the interstate was excellent. Overall the stay was comfortable.
• Slight problem with a slow draining bathtub, but as I was by myself, it really didn't matter.

“Very dull property. Front desk staff are rude and unprofessional. The property sits back off the main road and it is hard to find if you don't know the area. Overall, very poor quality and service for a Courtyard. You have to pay for the breakfast buffet.”

• Breakfast cost us over $50 a day extra- we expected at least a continental breakfast, but we had to pay $8 a person plus tip.

• Liked it completely.

“It was set back from the highway, wasn't noisy. Staff called about 5 minutes after we arrived and asked it everything was okay. Just a nice hotel, with excellent staff.”

• Once I found the hotel it was nice enough for the price.
• It was very hard to find, and the sign was barely visible when I did.

“The only problem I have with this hotel is the location. It's probably visible from the interstate, however there is no large sign to help you find it. I saw may others as I looked for this one at 11 PM. They all had large lit signs proclaiming their whereabouts. I finally had to stop and ask directions because it was off the main road behind the other commercial property. In summary, a large lit sign would help them greatly. The stay was otherwise great.”

• The public areas were nice.
• The mattresses were worn and of very poor quality, air condition was noisy.

“This hotel did not meet my expectations for a 2.5 star rated hotel. While the exterior and public areas were attractive, the mattress was of very poor quality and appeared to be worn out. The air conditioner was very noisy.”

• I liked that the left 2 mints in the room and having more than 2 pillows was wonderful.
• The pool closes too early. We were late arrivals and we had a meeting first thing Sat. morning and we really wanted to swim when we arrived.
