• The hotel staff was excellent- exceeded my expectation.
• Wish the hotel was more pet friendly- would be able to stay there more often- very difficult to find someone to watch our dog who is part of our family.

• The arrangement of the room kept hall noise away and room was across the hall from the elevator.
• We were disappointed to find moldy-caulk in the bathtub and poor lighting in the bathroom.

“The refrigerator was making a rattling noise, so we turned it off. We thought the bathroom could have used more lighting for the shower area. As a whole, we were very pleased with the arrangement of the room to allow for privacy and low noise from the hallway.”

• Very nice looking room.

“The hotel and the staff were very nice and I have stayed there before. The only problem we had was with the sheets having brown stains on them which we did not notice until it was very late at night. After noticing the stains, we pulled out the couch and slept on it. Due to this experience, I am not sure, I will stay there again at least without examining the sheets before we get settled into the room.”

• Quick and curtious check in and check out.
• Being female and traveling alone, I felt a little isolated since the hotel is off the busy street (perfect though if not traveling alone).

• Quiet.
• Very dirty and small.

“The hotel room was average size. The beds were very small (just a full size for two people). The most upsetting thing was that after my 9 month old baby was crawling around on the floor, his knees and hands were black from all the dirt. (We took pictures to prove it). He wasn't even on the floor for more than a few minutes. The floor appeared vacuumed but obviously was still very filthy. Made me wonder how clean (or not clean) everything else was..”

• Clean.
• There was a charge for everything, no continental breakfast even charged for the bottle of water in our room.

“We enjoyed our stay; it was a little noisy being by the elevator. Was shocked by the fact there was a charge for everything. We are use to the continental breakfast and they left a bottle of Dasni Water for you but if you used it there was a $3.00 charge. No perks with this stay.”

• Had to wait for room; when we did get a room, we found out it was already occupied.

“Clean, quiet; nice pool. Employees were unorganized. Had to wait for an available room that was over our check-in time. The room assigned to us was already occupied; had to go back and get another room.”

• Very nice hotel, clean and comfortable, friendly and helpful staff.
• For a nice place the elevator was really creaky and jerky, was surprised by this.

• I like the room, nice, clean, and the beds were AWESOME. So comfortable!
• That you had to pay for your breakfast! Bad! Need continental breakfast.

“People were very nice and friendly. The coffee was always fresh. The breakfast was very good, fresh, but you had to pay $10.00 a piece to have it, I did not like that. The breakfast was however, very convenient, and hot. The rooms are nice and roomy; beds must have had feather tops on them because they were awesome to sleep on. The hide a bed was not so comfortable, poor mattress.”

• Comfortable rooms and very friendly and helpful staff.
• We were looking forward to the Jacuzzi after a long day of driving but it was too hot to use.

“The room was very comfortable and all areas where went were clean. It is close to Interstate 24, easy to get to, plenty of parking and close to a wide variety of food choices from fast-food to great steak houses and ethnic foods. There is also a convenient mall and other shopping within a mile of the hotel. We arrived late in the evening and was looking forward to using the Jacuzzi. It was clean and no one was using it so there was plenty of room. We could not get in it though because it was too hot. The staff apologized but even turning down the heat it would not have cooled enough to use before it would be closed for the night. Very disappointing. However, we would go back to this hotel because of the comfort of the room and friendliness of the staff but would call ahead to have them check the heat in the Jacuzzi and turn it down if necessary.”

• Very uncomfortable sofa sleeper. Something needs to be done to improve the quality of sofa sleepers if guests are expected to sleep on them.

“Not real easy to find off the interstate. I don't like the idea you can't request type of sleeping beds when making reservation. We had 3 adults in our room and all we could get was a king size bed and sofa sleeper (very uncomfortable). Only thing complimentary was the coffee bar. Drury Inn's are much more considerate of guests needs. Had nice pool. Staff very friendly.”

“Expected much more for a Marriott hotel. Small 19 inch TV. My wife and I were laying in bed when a man and woman walked into our room. They backed out with an apology. The desk evidently didn't remember it was already taken.”

• Staff and management on duty had no flexibility.

“Hotels have always been accommodating in providing us a king size bed. even though they admitted to having availability manager would not budge from her rules. I told her we would have to use both bed since she wouldn't provide us with one king. she said she was sticking by her rules. thanks to her we slept terrible. I think if they have rooms they ought to want to please their customers.”

• For our purposes  nothing.

“Overall this hotel was perfect for our overnight stay during the long drive from Illinois to Florida. This was especially important since my goal was to drive for my elderly parents so they could continue to enjoy their winters in Ft. Myers. .”

• The rooms seemed clean and it was quiet liked having a couch in the room.
• The desk chair was broken; thought there should be a free breakfast like other hotels paid enough money for OT.

“I liked the hotel fine however when you think of a Courtyard you think higher quality. This hotel was nice. I have stayed at cheaper hotels that were nicer than this one and also got a free breakfast every morning.”

• The front desk lady was very nice.

“Our room was very small. We had called the hotel directly and requested a room with 2 beds, since we were traveling with our niece. We were given a king. So, my niece had to sleep on the couch. It is a little confusing to find the hotel since it is not on the main road. The lady at the front desk was very nice, and the hotel was basically clean.”

• Free warm chocolate chip cookies at check in!
• No complaints.

“The hotel was not on the main drag, so it was a little difficult to find at night. The room was clean, comfortable, and well decorated. Warm chocolate chip cookies were a welcome surprise when we checked in. I would definitely stay again!”

• The pool area was cold and I really appreciate a complimentary breakfast.

“We checked in and this is the last hotel on our trip. We had great service everywhere, but when we checked in here, we asked for a king bed instead of two, double beds and the women said she couldn't change anything. I told her that all the other hotels made changes for us and she said they could not and would not.”

“We were somehow led to believe that there was included a complimentary hot breakfast. After we ate minimally from the buffet we were handed a check for over twenty dollars for about a three dollar meal. Very disappointing. Will ask more questions if there is a next time.”

• Bed was comfortable.
• Hard to find. There are no signs off the main street; the hotel is hidden behind trees, and other buildings.

“Our trip was satisfactory. I found out that there is not a free breakfast in the morning. We could eat there, but they would charge us $9.95 per person. I think that is horrible. I think the breakfast should come along with it.”
