“I liked this hotel because of the location and the fact that it was close to the hotels and not that far from Geyser falls which was where I took my children.” Jun 18, 2007 by
Debbie from Glenmora, LA
“Although the staff was friendly the rooms were worn and old. The bed sleep good but you did not won't to walk on floors without shoes on.” May 3, 2007 by
Steve from Prairieville, LA
“I wasn't expecting much, based on the 1 star rating. If there was a half star rating, Iżd have given it that. Nothing about the room was clean, or pleasing to look at.” Apr 9, 2007 by

“Met our needs for overnight stay.” Aug 16, 2006 by
Debbie from Virginia Beach
“Had rooms 236 and 234, adjoining because I have 3 teens. So let me begin with saying we were trying to cut corners on this trip as far as the budget, and well, you get what you pay for. This is no Holiday Inn or even Best Western. Not even close, however I thought it would be. So, here are the issues: 1) a/c kept cutting out (heat wave this week, avg 85 at night)...not good when you still have a 12 hour drive ahead and couldn't sleep well. 2) Internet access in 234 didn't work so we had to run it into our room, 236. 3) Floors very shaky and even though I didn't have toddlers running around, I felt sorry for the people below us. I could truly imaging the plaster coming off the ceiling onto the people below. 4) the phone didn't work. When I woke up at 4 AM because it was a blistering furnace in our room I wanted to inform the front desk. The phone was dead, dead, dead. Tried from my mobile phone and the front desk phone was off the hook. Finally had to go in 234 and use that phone to call the "operator". I felt like she didn't believe me. Actually spoke to me like I was a child and suggested I turn it on high and open the adjoining door and share the a/c. As if I was too stupid to not try any of that already. But that still didn't fix the issue. I'm surprised she didn't suggest I take off the blankets! 5) Iron, but no board. Useless. 6)Beds were hard as rocks. It was truly like sleeping on a cement floor. 7) Hair dryer won't work either. Good thing I brought my own, but my daughter didn't bring one. 8) Curtains but no shears. Would be nice to open the window without the world being able to see into the room. After arguing with mgr, took the dog for a walk before loading up, the woods surrounding the hotel is literally a dump. Oil drums. Gas cans. Extinguishers. clothing. trash.” Aug 16, 2006 by

“Literally is a dump. The woods behind is full of trash and other stuff. There were large oil drums, gas cans, coolers, qt. oil containers, liquor and beer bottles, fire extinguishers, clothing, hotel linen, and trash in the woods along the bldg. In my room the a/c cut out and woke us up by 4 AM. lobby disconnects the phone at night. Not working in my room, phone, blow drier, Internet and a/c. Holes in the wall. Molded "breakfast" food.” Apr 3, 2006 by
Donna from Ocean Springs, MS

“Need to offer wireless internet to customers. Cleaner rooms Bigger towels And a lot more smoke free rooms” Mar 7, 2006 by

“It's a place to sleep if you're just too tired to get to another place!” Hotel Representatives:
