“When we checked in to our room we noticed that the lock did not work as it should and that you could use the card to key to open it. All you had to do is slide the card up through the outside and door popped open. We had brought two laptops which we did not feel safe in leaving so we took them in the car where ever we went. Also we ended up staying an extra night and when we went to the pool the breaker had blown and there were not lights in the pool area. This really upset my kids because it was not a safe situation for them to swim in. Overall I was disappointed with the stay but I did like the room sizes and the two TVs.” Feb 24, 2009 by

“The hotel was nice and neat. Rooms were great size. The location was easy to find. The staff was less than friendly and not at all helpful. The bathtub was dirty and there was some dirt in the floor from the ceiling tiles in front of the tub. And the breakfast was less than I expected. There was none. Overall, this hotel was one of the nicest I have stayed in despite the few things I found wrong.” Jan 5, 2009 by

“Smoking rooms really smell. Staff was unable to change my room to non-smoking. However, moved to me another smoking room which was not as bad.” Jun 4, 2007 by

“Door dead bolt locks did not work. Door not hung correctly. TV Remote broken. Doors slammed shut. Noisy plumbing (toilets, showers etc). Continental breakfast on hold due to renovation (dust).” Apr 17, 2007 by

“The first room had some contruction work that had not been cleaned up. The second room heat & bedroom lights did not work. The third room there were chemicals left in the bathroom. This is the only thing wrong in the 3rd room. Rooms need to be checked by supervisor before occupancy” Mar 20, 2007 by

“The first room they put us in smelled terrible but they did move us wed we asked them to.” Mar 14, 2007 by

“They are in the process of changing from Ramada Suites to Paducah Suites and they are a work in progress. Pool empty but being upgraded. Hallways not super clean and the rooms have a bit of a stark appearance but staff is friendly and perhaps will improve once the change is completed.” Feb 25, 2007 by

“First off, this hotel is not even called Paducah Suites. The marquis outside said it was a Ramada and there was a handwritten sign taped to the front door that said something about Comfort Inn Suites coming soon. The entire hotel was under renovation. The pool and many common areas were not even accessible, and the whole hotel reeked of construction smells, i.e.: varnish, paint, carpet - very hard on the sinuses. We received our room assignment by a less-than-enthusiastic young girl at the front desk dressed in sweats and dragged all our luggage to the 2nd floor room only to find out that we were given a smoking room without even being asked. We requested a new room (non-smoking) and found out at 7:00 the next morning that we had been put right next to a room with 3 adults and 4 extremely unruly children with extremely inconsiderate parents. There couldn't have been more than 5-10 rooms being used that night and yet we probably had the most undesirable room. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone.” Hotel Representatives:
