• It was convenient and
  clean.
• It had a bit of a musty smell.

“The hotel was conveniently located on my trip route for a few hours of sleep to break up a long drive. Parking was visible from the room and easy for getting in and out to freeway. It had a slight musty smell, but was clean.”

• Easy access to interstate and area food and entertainment.

• Carpet was very dirty TV. Did not work; phone was not by the bed I could write a book about how bad this motel was.

• It was quiet, clean, the AC worked well. It was convenient to dining and it is close to Rush Foundation Hospital which was important to us.

• Room smelled, carpets were dirty, remote(s) didn't work.

“Easy access of the freeway however the hotel was a bit outdated, smelled, carpets were dirty, there were objects left around from the last occupants, when I turned down the bedspread two flies came out. I've stayed at other La Quinta Inns and this was by far the worse one I've seen.”

• Very friendly employees and really helped with my handicapped daughter in making her feel welcome.
• Rooms to small.

“I would recommend this hotel to my friends. It was out of the way from the congestion of town, but in a good location near everything in town. The employees were all friendly and that is what makes you want to go back again.”

• The continental breakfast with waffle maker.
• No complaints based on price.

“This is a great hotel to stay. It is not a luxury hotel. But it is clean, has an excellent breakfast and you can get under the blankets without worrying if they are clean or not. I was just passing through Meridian and this was an excellent place to rest. I used the laundry also which was reasonable priced. Their are also plenty of restaurants surround this property.”

• The staff was wonderful, and the beds comfortable.
• The carpet in the room.

“We had a really great experience at this hotel. Other than the carpet in room - it was so bad I went and bought a pair of flip-flops to wear, and would not let the lady in my care be without her house shoes. To have such a nice staff and wonderful rooms, even the bathrooms were clean. I was saddened.”

“This property used to be a Baymont Inn and has recently been acquired by La Quinta. It is in need of repair (In our room: broken door frame, broken electrical plate, dirty/ stained carpet, cracked toilet bowl and missing seat cover and generally not clean). The staff said a remodel is planned soon!”

• Upon my arrival, the check-in staff were friendly and courteous.
• Viable unsecured locks on doors, Complaining maid.

“I was unable to gain access to my room with key. The maid on floor begun to give me a negative history of the hotel and the key problem. I had to relocate to another room. She informed me of the poor renovations, and just general complaints. I was tired and wanted to just go to my room and relax. She told me all of her problems, and I was made to feel more uncomfortable about the viable constructions and unlocked doors. I was told that the swimming pool was dirty, and I did not take a swim. I would left, and relocated to another hotel upon arrival, had I not paid in advance. It was a terrible experience.”

• Carpet turned feet black in less than 30 minutes.

“I traveled with my 11 month old son. The carpet in the rooms looked stained and turned his feet black within 30 minutes. I had to keep shoes on him the whole time. Had to go to another room to give him a bath because there was no plug for the tub. Not a very nice stay. Couldn't wait to get out of there.”

“Hotel staff was extremely helpful. We arrived at the Inn at 1:00 in the morning due to serious traffic delay on interstate and front desk staff was very understanding and helped us get settled quickly and safely.”

• The fitness center was nice and the high-speed internet worked well.
• The quality was not up to La Quinta's usual standards.

“When we arrived at 9:00 PM, we were told there was no non-smoking rooms were available. When we explained that my wife was medically unable to spend the night in a room in which tobacco smoke was evident, the clerk said she could do nothing. We asked her to call her manager for us, and she did, but did not let us talk to the manager. She returned to say there was nothing she could do. After my wife talked with her for about 15 minutes, I don't know if that note was supposed to be ours or if she upset someone else later. The ladies putting out the breakfast in the morning told us there was no orange juice, but the desk clerk corrected them and sent them back for it. The room had a water stain on the ceiling that appeared to have mold or fungus in it.”

• Nonsmoking rooms are all smoking rooms!! very unhappy with 3 ashtrays in both nonsmoking rooms they had for us to try!

“I reserved nonsmoking. They gave us clearly a smoking room with 3 ashtrays and terrible smell of smoke. We asked for another room and they gave us what was supposedly another nonsmoking room, yet it also had 3 ashtrays, no nonsmoking signs, and a terrible stench of smoke. They would not accommodate us when we requested another room. Very unsatisfied.”

• It seemed a little beat up, and I couldn't get internet connection which is crucial for me.

“On a whole la quita inns are some of my favorite places to stay, but this one seemed a little below the standards that I have had, but still a good place to stay.”

• The staff of this hotel was fantastic.
• Although the room was clean, each time we left and returned, we smelled a strong odor (maybe a pet had been in there) Also there was a lot of noise.

“This hotel provides a quick break off the interstate for a night or a few nights. The lobby is very nice and the staff is there to assist you with any questions or needs you may have.”

• Everything was very clean and the beds were so comfortable!

“The staff was very helpful when we checked in and we were really able to settle in and enjoy having a night to relax. I felt the hotel was very convenient and quiet and extremely clean and well taken care of. I also felt that we definitely got our money's worth. I would definitely stay there again and I would recommend it to others.”

• It was very easy to get to it off of the interstate.
• The hallway smelled of faint cigarette smoke.

“The hotel stay overall was very nice. I really enjoyed how close the hotel was to the interstate. The room was very clean, but the hallway outside smelled like cigarette smoke. When we went to check out, I think the lady behind the desk was either very sick or very upset because she sounded like she was not okay, but she was still very nice.”

“Very comfortable stay. would have asked for a change in room due to dead-bolt did not latch. staff was more than personable and professional. breakfast was out of this world. more food, and good at that, than I could have ever dreamed for a breakfast bar. awesome!”
