• Breakfast was fine.
• The smell.

“Booked rooms as smoking, which overbooked the hotel - they had great problems getting us a non-smoking room. The rooms were not very clean, either.”

“The front desk clerk greeted me in insulting manner, and was less than helpful. I requested a wake up call that came. The heat in the room did not work in 25 degree Illinois weather. ”

• Room was filthy with dirty socks under both beds.

“Tried to put us in a room with one double bed, not Queen but double. I weigh 300Lbs and this just doesn't work. Told them this was not acceptable. They said all they had was a smoking room with two double beds. When we entered the we found a pair of dirty socks & an old room key card lying at the end of the bed. I thru them out in the hall. When retiring for the evening we found more dirty socks under the other bed. This place is a dump.”

• The pool.
• The room was dirty, loud and the blood on the lampshade was a nice touch. The shower poured more water down the shower wall than the head.

“Avoid this hotel. I must admit, the check in process for me went well. The double bed was too small for my taste but if that was my only complaint I would have been happy. However, the floor still had buttons, change and debris remaining on it that the vacuum missed. The shower connection was so loose that a trickle came out of the head while the majority of it ran down the wall. The noise was pretty much constant all night long from the other guests. Lastly, the blood on the lampshade was the real turn off for me.”

• Friendly staff.
• I waited 5 to 10 minutes to check out, no staff person.

“Nice hotel, good area in relation to shopping centers and dining availability.”

• Amenities, such as breakfast and pool were good. Also, the rooms were clean and neat.
• Was unable to get queen or king bed.

• Clean, accommodating, friendly
• Bed pillows left a lot to be desired! Fortunately, we carry our own!

“Curtains in dining area are still hanging off the hooks and the windows in the pool area are dirty. Also interesting...my toilet was plugged. The desk clerk on duty GAVE Me the plugger to unplug it. Personally for me I did not care, but I know other Travelers would not feel that was there job.”
