• Nothing really was attractive at this property.

“To begin with the night I checked in was the night of the tornado's which came across Tenn. When I checked in there was not any power at the hotel and if I had known this was the case I would have gone somewhere else, because other hotel/motels in the area had power. So I had to sit in the darkness with no TV or lights. The next morning when I did awaken, I used the towels which were as thin as paper and could substitute for sandpaper. I did not feel that this was the quality of your standards for a 2 star motel and that if you or your customers were to stay here that it would not be your 1st choice!”

• The hotel was very convenient to eating establishments and quick access to the interstate.
• The towels were horrid - and I felt very dirty even after showering.

“This is a completely basic hotel. I would never bring my wife here, but it was perfect for a business travelers nights rest. The continental breakfast was moderate and some of the items that were out to eat were not fresh at all!”

“Nice room, excellent staff. Only drawback was hotel location, and proximity to roads made security suspect. No problems, but you were just worried for your car and its contents.”

• Lobby cluttered, sloppy; room had no security chain or lock, musty, dirty entrance gave room dirty feel.

“This hotel just needs a complete "refreshing" lobby needs enlarged and de-cluttered. Needs curb appeal badly. The entrances to the rooms are dirty and give you the feeling that the whole place just needs sanitized. It was rated 5starburst but it was so bad we just walked in the room, smelled it and seen there was no security lock and walked out. We did not stay in the room but stayed in another hotel in town and just lost the money that we had paid for the room at Days Inn.”

• Convenience of the location was great and the rooms were clean.
• Nothing, everything was great.

“I and my family tried a days inn back in June, it was not the greatest experience and we decided to try another days inn establishment and we were a little skeptic at first with it being a days inn, but to our surprise it was 10 times better than the last one. I would recommend this hotel to anyone it was the best hotel experience that I have had in a long time.”

“I had stayed here before when it first opened under a different Name. For the price I paid it was good. Would not have paid regular price. Good for the budget mined traveler or those last minute get always that are not planned.”

“The hotel was dirty and shabby. There were stains on the blanket. It smelled strongly of cigarette smoke even though it was supposed to be non smoking. It also had a musty smell. The desk clerk was sloppy, dirty looking and inattentive. When I was checking out, I had to go find him because he was outside smoking with another guy. The price wasn't even good because we could have done just as well walking in with our warp discount. This hotel should not be one of your offerings. I can not begin to tell you how disgusted we were. I felt like I was staying in someone's musty basement.”

• It was easy to find.
• The vagabonds loitering outside were a cause for concern. Thankfully, no attempt was made to break into my truck.

“Dingy, dark, and sketchy. It'll do simply for a place to sleep the room was clean and the bed was ok. But I didn't want to spend any more time there than was necessary. There were derelicts wandering about the property and I feared for the safety of my vehicle. I will say that the front parking area was well lit and I found some comfort in that. As for me, I would stay there again if it was just me, but I wouldn't take my wife/kids.”

• It was clean and comfortable.
• It was old and a bit run down on the inside.

“It met our need for a comfortable place to sleep a few hours and get up and travel on. Management was rude and crude on the morning we left 09-30-07 in telling us check out time was 1 hour earlier than what was posted on the door of the room. said that posted time was wrong and tried to insist we were suppose to be out an hour earlier than the time posted. But finally told us to go ahead and take our time when I told her we would be out as soon as we could get ready.”

• Nice front desk staff.
• Dangerous area. Was worried for the safety of my car.

“This hotel was extremely basic. The rooms were tiny and shabby but clean. The area was not too safe either with people milling around in the parking lot. I think people lived at this motel. The lobby was full of people eating and smoking and there was no restaurant at this exit to the interstate.”

• Lobby & continental breakfast were good.
• The rooms need detail cleaning, especially in corners.

“The staff was pleasant. The lobby smelled great. The rooms had an "old" odor about them and were not detailed in their cleanliness. Our room TV was always fuzzy and hard to control. But for the price I paid, it was a good value.”

• The front desk clerk was very friendly and right off interstate for travelers.
• Was awaken by a room call 20mins before checkout and was ask what time I was checking out didnt sound like front desk and house keeper open room door

• The price was right. The internet connection was good.
• Room was old. Too much furniture in the room.

“We pulled into the hotel looking for a place to sleep and get on the road quickly the next morning. We slept well, except for one late arrival whose rental truck beeped and woke us up. Breakfast was free in the office. It was adequate, though I wish it had offered non-sweetened cereals. I wonder why no one offers oatmeal? Staff was competent, though all we did was check in and out. I would not recommend this hotel, but would not discourage anyone from using it either. It's nothing special, but was adequate for our needs.”

“When I arrived the front desk person had locked themselves out along with several other waiting to check in including myself. A gentleman in front of me who just walked in off the street got a better rate than I did. Not happy about that!”

• This hotel was extremely dirty! I liked nothing about it.
• Again, this hotel was dirty and in a bad area.

“I was appalled at the condition on this "2 star" hotel! The room was filthy. My kids were covered in black after sitting on the floor while they watched TV. There was a large stain that was blood colored on the box springs. The ac had dirt clumps in the vent. The paint was chipping from the walls. The room smelled of cat urine. I am very disappointed with this room. The staff was some what friendly. We already called and complained to day's inn.”

• The hotel staff was very helpful.
• The hotel was a hang-out for undesirable characters in the evening.

“While the hotel owners appear very committed to maintaining this facility, I would not stay here again. When we arrived in the late evening, the parking lot was full of people apparently just hanging around (they were not hotel guests). We were subjected to uncomfortable attention from some of those present, and the noise level all night was a deterrent to rest.”

• The hotel was located in a bad part of town with homeless people wandering around in front. I did not feel safe walking to my car at night.

It appeared that some people were living in the hotel and I did not feel safe walking to my car at night. The room appeared clean but had a slight urine smell. I do not feel like I received a good deal or a fair price considering the environment. ”

“This part of Jackson has in the past, not had a good reputation. This particular motel had a bad reputation for, parties, etc. So was surprised that it had been cleaned up and no incidents.”

• Small room, crack between door and door frame.

“Staying at this motel is not convenient for shopping, dining or entertainment. There are no places to eat. The room was small with a small desk and little work area. The door did not shut well and did not seal well, resulting in a crack letting cold air in.”

• The room was reasonably spacious.
• Location and condition of the room.

“The last few days¿ inns I have stayed in have not been as nice as those I¿ve used in the past. They have been ok, but that's the best I can say. This room was clean but dreary. The furnishing was well-used. Whoever painted the bathroom did a poor job, and the bathtub had old paint on it and was otherwise showing wear. The place needs remodeling. The motel is not located conveniently to restaurants. It is also too close to the interstate, for traffic noise is very noticeable, even late at night.”

“I left 2 items at the hotel by accident. I called back, about an hour after I left, and they had already found the items and offered to mail them for me. I picked them up on my way back through, 3 days later. This impressed me.”

• They had a room, though we got there at 2 am.
• Desk clerk was anti-social (bored), and other hotel employees were eating in plain sight of the front desk.

“The room was hot and smelled like smoke, even though it was a non-smoking room. We asked for a late checkout, because we'd gotten in much later than planned, and they griped before giving us an extra 30 MINUTES to clear out. It is a courtesy in the hotel business to offer late checkouts of one hour or more, and the attitude of the staff bad. I will not stay at this hotel again if I can avoid it. ”

• It was good.
• The area was not to great.

“The hotel was fine the only thing we did not like was they did not clean our room the second day we were there. We put the do not disturb sign out until 9 the second day and took it down and left. We came back at 5 p.m. and the room had not been cleaned but we called and left for supper and they cleaned while we were gone.”
