• Close to Starved Rock State Park.
• Cold pool.

“Overall the hotel was nice, newly remodeled and the rooms were clean. The front desk staff seemed troubled by having to take care of you.”

• Price.
• Breakfast room.

“Ok for the price. The breakfast needs to be evaluated. We have stayed at Heartland Inns and all mid priced hotels should pattern themselves after them and they would get more business!”

• Close to Sate Park and other pleasure travel location.
• Nothing really.

“Was very happy with the hotel for the price and location, it was to the Historic Mansion tour and State Park we visited!”

• Comfortable beds.
• No elevator and I have bad, bad knees!

“Nice room, beds were nice comfortable but the room smelled so bad we had to go buy air fresher and candles. It was a smoking room, which we asked for but it hadn't been aired out and just reeked of stale smoke. We had to leave the window open when we left the room and sprayed all the material and carpets in the room.”

• Room was very clean.
• Rooms weren't ready at 10 AM. Required my car's number.

“Bathroom and Pool too small. Rate too high. Can't check in at 10am. Can't check out at 5pm. Charge for pets, no steak and eggs for breakfast, no elevator, won't take checks, no golf channel, no bar close by, no guest laundry, wireless Internet doesn't work, staff only nice when guests aren't complaining. ”

• Right off interstate I was traveling, inside rooms, close to other businesses, breakfast available.
• Restaurant smells and hotel noise until A/C unit was running.
