Randy from Reagan,TN
“Definitely lower-scale than previous Days Inns that I have stayed at, and at almost twice the price. Room was not cleaned well, carpet was dirty and not vacuumed, hair on tub, sink, floor. It actually had a hole in the bathtub. Staff was very nice and the manager kept a close watch on everything outside. Probably OK for an overnight stay for someone just passing through, but not for 3 days & nights!” Aug 7, 2009 by
Reasa from Rison,AR
“Staff was friendly and cooperative. Older motel. Room was not cleaned and had to get new sheets and linen. Could hear through walls.” Mar 14, 2009 by
Ladusche from Ohio
“This was one of the worst hotels I've stayed at. The TV doesn't work properly, they don't give you a channel guide so you just have to guess. The carpets are dirty. Stains, dirt, cut-up. The walls had holes in it. The keep safe doesn't have a key, theres no access to it at all. Then there is dirty bathroom. Our shower curtain had mold and dirt on it. The shower floor was dirty along wither debris floating in it and on the floor. The hot tube is a kiddo pool basically. If your looking for an over night stay just to rest its fine but if you want to get clean and stay a couple days, don't. And the internet is either phone line or wireless limited connectivity and not very fast.” Jan 12, 2009 by
Paula from Prairieville, LA
“We had to wait 20 minutes for our room to be cleaned. Once inside the room it was dirty and smelled. Poor lighting (only a few worked), the TV had poor reception, the room smelled and the air conditioner made awful noises. They had people working on cars in the parking lot with loud music and loud vulgar language. Definitely not a place for children. We decided not to stay there. The staff was very unfriendly. We went down the street to an Econo Lodge and had a very clean and quiet stay. I would not recommend this place to anyone.” Aug 30, 2008 by
Drew from Fairport, NY
“Fair warning. This is not the typical Days Inn - economy stay. We stayed one night on business, and would never go back. We rode a dirty elevator to the 2nd floor, and located our dirty room. The first glance revealed the ant traps in the tiny bathroom which were apparently for the cockroaches that we noted on the floor, the sink, and the walls near the bed. The ceiling was sagging, and needed repair. We would have asked for a room change, but we were afraid it could get worse. Pay the extra money for a cleaner hotel, I know I will.” Aug 13, 2008 by
Daniel from Hernando, MS
“The air conditioning in our room was out when we got there but the hotel maintenance man replaced the entire unit as soon as we mentioned the problem. The staff was friendly and helpful.” Jul 31, 2008 by
Shelia from Heidelberg, MS
“This hotel is not kept up to standards. The lobby was nasty and the beds were too uncomfortable.” Jul 29, 2008 by
Donna from Paulina, La.
“Thank goodness there was a store nearby so I could buy disinfectant and Clorox wipes to clean the room, before my small grandchildren could stay in there.” Jul 28, 2008 by
Donna from Paulina, La.
“Not worth the money. Do not bring small children here. The pool was dirty and bedbugs in rooms.” Jul 23, 2008 by
Chelsi from Thibodaux
“Don't stay here. Most of the occupants are workers, which are very rude. One of them spit right onto of me. Which was very disgusting. The pool is small. The phone barely works. It had to be plugged into the bathroom jack. The only good thing about this place is the internet service.” Jul 21, 2008 by
Richard from Franklin, KY
“Friendly and helpful staff. Good location, suited for business stays. Adequate facilities. Comfortable rooms.” Jul 14, 2008 by
Stephanie from Mendenhall, MS
“First of all, the front desk clerk, whom I am assuming is the manager, cannot speak clear English. Second, the rooms were filthy. The beds were halfway made up and the pillows were hanging out of the pillow cases and the room smelled. Third, the air conditioners in both rooms did not work. They both blew out very little air. The temperature inside the rooms when we first walked in was well over 90 degrees. After an hour of sweating while we waited on the air conditioners to cool the rooms off, we decided to check out. The front desk clerk got clearly irritate with the fact that we wanted to leave. He raised his voice to us and said something, but once again, I could not understand his language. It was disgusting how the rooms were and I would not have slept on the bed if someone offered me a million dollars - it was that bad. We went down the road to the Comfort Inn - so much better.” Jun 9, 2008 by
Joel from Tetal, MS
“Nice place to stay for the weekend.” May 25, 2008 by
Talita from Jacksonville, FL
“Went to high school graduation; The rooms were clean and fresh smelling as if someone spray a nice scent in the room at the time of checkout. The hotel is nearby and close to everything Wal-Mart, Applebees, gas station, shopping and not too far from the beaches.” Apr 7, 2008 by
Diane from Midlothian, VA
“This hotel located near airport and local eateries and stores such as outlet and Wal-Mart. Not very clean overall.” Mar 12, 2008 by
Casey from Slidell, LA
“The room surprised me because we spent money for a nice room with a Jacuzzi and it looked like they just moved the bed over and glued a Jacuzzi in there. It was clean, and it was near everything in Gulfport, but it was next to a bar room.” Mar 5, 2008 by
Clara from Alexander City, AL
“Drug addicts were all around and not very kid friendly. sheets were burned and I got a smoking room when I purchased a non smoking room. I was very disappointed in the service.” Feb 1, 2008 by
Rose from Belk, AL
“Nice place, saw my name on register, did not ask for identification, it was very comfortable.” Jan 1, 2008 by
Josephine from Pontotoc, MS
“Over all it is a clean and neat place to stay with my family.” Dec 7, 2007 by
Randy from Mandeville, LA
“Rooms had left over drug items and people doing drugs in the parking lot all night long. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.” Oct 6, 2007 by
Barb from Neenah, WI
“If you are looking for a place to lay your head that is cheap, this is it. Afraid to go to the pool after dark. Not a place to take a family. But the construction workers that seem to accommodate the facility find it very nice.” Aug 15, 2007 by
Caren from Houma, LA
“The staff was rude. There were no fitted sheets for the beds. I had to sleep on the mattress. It smelled like smoke. My room wasn't cleaned. The AC did not work well. It was not a good hotel.” Jul 30, 2007 by
Margarita from Amarillo, TX
“The bathroom is not very clean and one of the chairs had the arm broken. The pool was small but was usually empty so you could enjoy it.” Jul 23, 2007 by
Rhoda from Cut Off, LA
“The hotel is still in need of some structural repair from hurricane Katrina. Updating the window AC units to make the rooms more comfortable would be nice. The rooms for nonsmokers are more expensive. Shouldn't the rooms you smoke in be more expensive because they require more cleaning/cleaning products to maintain comfort without the nasty smells?” Jul 21, 2007 by
Barbara from Franklinton, Louisiana
“We really enjoyed staying here at the Days Inn in Gulfport, MS. The bed slept so good and the pillows were like sleeping on a cloud. We stayed there from July 14 - July 16, 2007. I would definitely recommend someone else to stay there. If we go back to Gulfport, we will stay at this hotel again. The pool was also clean but would have liked for it to be a little bigger.” May 18, 2007 by
Amanda from Pontotoc, MS
“The front desk clerk was not friendly at all and we were totally disgusted when we spotted a used tampon at the edge of the bed just before we left.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jan 2, 2007 by
Renee K. from Mocksville, NC
“I would not stay there again. Hotel room was nasty. There were stains all over the carpet and there was an olive on the table that had already started growing fur. I did not complain because I only stayed one night. I was late arriving (4am) so that night was gone. Staff was friendly though. I think I will not go the cheap route again. Renee keeled.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Dec 4, 2006 by

“The Days Inn was very nice, quiet and close to shopping and every thing we needed.” Aug 22, 2006 by
Terry from Pensacola, FL
“Terrible and unsafe conditions. I canceled my reservations because the hotel was in terrible condition. I was told that the hotel would only charge me 20 dollars for canceling, but they charged me for an entire night. I need to get my credit card refunded 100.74. I did not stay there.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.
