  • Breakfast was good, but paper plates for grits.
  • Bathroom, lighting, coffee and
    pillows.

“The location was hard to find (it was raining), the sign was not visible to the road nor did it reflect the name of the hotel. It was supposed to be Ramada. The staff was friendly, but the room was so old, very small TV, awful coffee and supplies, very bad location with outside access to the room, (not safe anymore). Loud noise and people outside at 2 and 3 am. We stayed at a Country Inn and Suites on our way to Louisiana and it was like a 3 star hotel, excellent. This was depressing at best. Glad to leave.”

  • Has potential.
  • Does not accommodate the guests with extra necessities: filled vending machines, pillows. Positive communication regarding requested room availability.

“Okay to stay for a quick overnight, but would not want to stay any longer. When arrived I was told no adjoining rooms available, was given one room on one floor and the other room was on another floor at opposite ends. Took room with king size bed and couch makes into single bed. Had to ask for sheets for couch and was told no pillows available. Arrived early June, restaurant was not open, no snacks or beverages in vending machines to even purchase.”

  • The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating.
  • The location is in a somewhat older part of town and away from the new restaurants.

“The staff was very helpful and friendly and the breakfast buffet was quality traditional southern cooking. The hotel itself is older, but has been updated in the past few years. Its location makes it difficult to turn left out of the entrance across 5 lanes of highway. Also the next exit down the interstate is where all the new restaurants are and new chain hotels are more conveniently located there.”
