• The continental breakfast far exceeded our expectations, and the pool and whirlpool were fantastic!
• Absolutely nothing!

• Exercise equipment, though limited, available at decent times, computers available.
• Too limited cable selection. No local newspaper, during my stay as single, 2 different families next to me and thin walls.

“Location is pretty far away. I liked the small exercise room, the pool, and the available computers. I did not like that there was limited cable, no micro or refrigerator, nor that they put families next to me, a single. Also, when I had to leave at 4am. no one was at the desk to give my key to no bell, no one answered when I knocked.”

• Great pool and hot tub, decor was nice and comfortable.
• Initially, it was difficult to find the right exit from the highway.

“I was extremely impressed with this hotel, considering that it was labeled a 2.5 star. The beds were great, entire location clean and every staff member nice and helpful. For women traveling alone, the parking lot was well lit and plenty of shopping and food options nearby.”

• The computer room with fast internet access was great.
• It was difficult to drive to and from the main highway, Washington St.

“It was better than we expected. The landscaping was very nice and the staff was even nicer. The room had everything we needed. The breakfast was not outstanding but it was very good.”

“The hotel was beautiful. A little hard to find though despite being just off of the interstate. But well worth the effort. The pool area was nice but no baby area and it was a smaller pool. But the hotel was very clean and the rooms are wonderful.”

• I could hear some kids in the hall when we were trying to relax.

• Nice breakfast, clean rooms, great staff, all around good hotel.
• Didn't like being placed in a two double room when I'd asked for a king room.

“Pleased with the hotel. It is an all around good place to stay. It's not luxurious or fancy, but it is clean and looks nice. The breakfast was good for a continental style breakfast. The business center was useful for checking e-mail, though one of the two computers had a monitor that was on its way out. double/blurry images. The exercise room was small, but had new equipment. Pool area looked nice, though I didn't use it. Staff was fantastic and friendly. The location is a little tricky to find at first. Overall, I am pleased with my stay.”

• Hotel is well situated off road with ample parking facilities.
• Non smoking rooms on 4th floor were over smoking rooms on 3rd floor and there was a definite odor in the hallways from the smoke.

“Staff is to be highly recommended, they were very accommodating and thoroughly met our needs. The hotel was spotless, as were the rooms. Facilities were ample and satisfactory. The breakfast bar was well supplied to meet our dietary needs, although the dining area could have been a bit larger with more tables rather than a bar with barstools which took up half the space. Will definitely stay again.”

• I personally would've liked a hotel closer to Downtown, but the location is just fine.

“I would stay here again. I've never felt like I got such a great stay in a 2* hotel. In room Nintendo, up-to-date decor and cleanliness, amazing buffet breakfast FREE the next morning (biscuits and gravy, cereal, oatmeal, muffins, bagels, danishes, juices, coffee, fruit), indoor pool and whirlpool, HBO, fitness room. The desk clerk gave me some milk for my child when we'd forgotten to order drinks with our pizza for our supper that night. Great service with great quality.”

“Nice quiet location off of highway. Many maintainance problems - elevator, ice machine, toilet not working - but all were being addressed by staff quickly. Excellent breakfast choice including a bag breakfast to go! Convienient to have free wireless internet available - signal best in main lobby, not room or pool area.”

• It was easy to find, right off the highway. The staff was very friendly and informative even though it was very late at night.
• I don't have a bad word to say about the hotel.

“The hotel had a clean and bright lobby. The staff was in a great mood, which helped us perk up after a long road trip. The room was spacious and clean. There was a very large variety to choose from at the free breakfast. I would highly recommend to anyone to stay here. It was a very pleasant experience.”

• This hotel was impeccably clean. The rooms were large with comfy beds and pillows. Water pressure was awesome. Breakfast - yummy!

“The Hampton Inn Madison East Towne Mall was one of the best hotels I've stayed at in a long time. It was clean and fresh with large rooms and very comfortable beds. The bathroom was spotless, lots of towels (I HATE not having enough towels!!), great water pressure, mirrors all around. The pool/whirlpool area were very relaxing, clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast had a great variety, and everything was very yummy. My family will definately stay at this hotel on our next visit to Madison.”
