• I liked that it was in the city I was visiting.
• the whole place smelled of cigarette smoke. The hotel was not very clean.

“If you are visiting the Madison area, plan to stay elsewhere.”

• Convenient, clean, good breakfast.
• Nothing.

“Due to my schedule, I stopped in very early to let them know I would be a late arrival. The person at the front desk cheerfully told me she could give me my key right away and I could go directly to my room later that night. Very convenient.”

• Easy access to freeway and easy to find.
• Noisy air conditioner.

• The location was good, and the price was competitive.
• To get a nonsmoking room we were placed in a separate building away from the lobby, etc.

“The friendly staff, convenient location, and adequate rooms make the Econo Lodge a good sleep for your money.”

• Close to shopping, airport and good food.
• Parking on a hill.

• Very quiet and variety at breakfast.
• Stark white walls in rooms. No receipt given. Computer in breakfast room was so near window that it was real hard to see screen (glare).

“Clean, extremely quiet, good breakfast with web access in breakfast room. Desk staff was friendly.”

• Ok location, easy to get to.
• Dirty, old appearance.

“I would not stay at the hotel again. While it was one of the cheaper in the area I found it to be out of date and felt dirty. Overall I wasn't happy with the hotel.”

• People were very friendly, the lounge was nice.
• The room should have been cleaner, the floors were dirty.

“The room we stayed in was dirty, I dropped something on the floor bent down to pick it up and saw behind the bed, it was thick with dirt. Quite disgusting. The tub also had hair in it. The service was great!”
