• Staff was very easy to work with.
• Pool area is very slippery and no comp. breakfast.

“This was a very nice experience for my family and I would recommend it to others. Pool area is very nice except for the slippery floor all around. A complimentary breakfast would have been nice for a 3 star hotel.”

• The entire staff was very friendly.
• It was very loud early in the morning.

“The is a great hotel! Everything looks brand new and is very nicely decorated. Check in and out was very simple. The staff was very accommodating. There were 4 computers in the lobby with a printer for use by guests! There is also a very nice free zoo only 7 minutes away.”

• The beds were very comfortable and there were computers and internet service for guests who were staying there. Loved it!
• I wish there was a light in shower itself. It is dark and hard to see while shaving.

• Nachos in the restaurant were awesome! The room's AC was great!
• Stains on comforter, overall room could have been cleaner.

“This hotel was so easy to find. Nice outdoor benches and sitting area. Nice lobby. I did not like that they charged for Wi-Fi. The fridge was a little steep, but the fridge was very good, ice cold.”

• They had a shuttle service that took you anywhere within 3 miles of the Hotel and picked you up. Service was very friendly.
• They were having a convention at the hotel and for a time they all congregated outside our room. We called and the hotel took care of it.

“We had a nice stay, the room was very nice. The shuttle was a great help because parking is at a premium in Madison. I highly recommend this hotel.”

“A terrific stay! Though brief, my visit could not have been better. The rooms were newly decorated, nicely appointed, comfortable, and clean. And the free breakfast was an unexpected surprise!”

• It was a clean hotel.
• The bed sheets just lay on and don't stay on the bed.

“Everything was clean. The exciting thing was that it was very close to the Alliant Center and that is I was going back and forth. The bad thing about the hotel was the bed sheets were not fitted sheets and they come off and I don't like feeling the mattress in the middle of the night especially when it is not my own mattress.”

• It had everything we wanted and the staffs were courteous, professional, and attentive to our needs.
• The WiFi in the rooms was not free.

“The location of the hotel was nice - easy access to Downtown or to the beltline. It is near to the lakes and the bike path, which we enjoyed. The pool and whirlpool area as well as workout facility were very nice, the restaurant and bar looked nice although we didn't use them, and the common area in the lobby where you could use computers and access the Internet was very nice as well. The staffs were very professional, courteous, and attentive to our needs. There were just 4 things that could have made our stay more pleasant. Our key cards stopped working several times even though they were not next to our cell phones, we were hoping there would be free WiFi in the rooms but there was not, the building has been there for a while, so the rooms aren't as spacious as perhaps some newer hotel rooms are. However, recent renovations have made the rooms very comfortable despite the little bit smaller size. I would definitely stay there again.”

• Broken shower head, defective doors, requested room change.

“This hotel is nice and modestly luxurious. The lobby and hotel restaurant were updated, as were the hotel rooms; however, the upstairs hallways and common areas were not updated. The first night we were there we were given a handicapped accessible room with a mechanical door that did not function and squeaked so loudly it woke up our baby. The bathroom door also squeaked very loudly. The handicapped shower head was broken & I had to shower with the shower head over my shoulder. We requested a different room and were upgraded to a king. The second room was much nicer, but this was quite a hassle. The pool and exercise area are adequate, but not extravagant. Location was quick drive or long walks to UW campus and easy access to the highway.”

• The room was not clean - the floor was definitely not vacuumed.

“The hotel is in a good location, the staff was pleasant, the lobby is attractive and comfortable, great pool. The room was spacious, the bath decent size, great shower. The sheets were very average quality and we began to question their cleanliness after we noticed a raisinette, a piece of a snack stick and other debris on the carpet - right in the middle of the floor between the beds. The room obviously had not been vacuumed. After that, we just couldn't help but wonder about the overall cleanliness and that was the only thing that blemished our stay.”

• The furnishings were wonderful. Linens/etc.
• The doors have about 1.5" clearance at the bottom. Hall noise.

“The Sheraton was everything I was looking for in a surprise for my partner. It was located near downtown and we were able to have a wonderful evening for two. It is a great location for travelers frequenting the Wisconsin Dells.”

• Restaurant was hugely overpriced. Would have preferred a queen bed.

• The staff was amazing. I felt they wanted my stay to be nice.
• I got below average service at the hotel.

“Overall my stay was great. We were in town one night for a wedding. I felt the staff wanted us to enjoy our stay. Everything went perfectly. The room was nice and featured an LG HD TV and we got a paper the next morning. When I called the shuttle for a ride from the wedding we were attending I was informed it was no longer running, however they called a cab and paid the fair. Overall I had a great experience.”

• Sauna didn't work well; water bottle in room pricey.

“Hotel was very neat and clean. Beds were super comfortable and bed linens were soft! Nice Starbucks coffee was available in room. Convenient location, close enough to campus, bike and walking trail. Great pool and fitness center. Would definitely stay there again.”

“The hotel has quick access to the "beltline". The lobby is nice but the hallways to the rooms are from about 1984 and are in desperate need of new paint and carpet. Rooms are fine for short trips through Madison.”

• Hotel not located immediately downtown, but closeby.

• Staff very accommodating to meet my needs with a room change.
• No views.

“The hotel was more "deluxe" than I was expecting, with a surprising "Swiss Hotels" feel in its decor. The staff was very accommodating in my request to change rooms away from some boisterous guests. Though there wasn't much sitting room in my room (1 chair tucked in a corner), it was probably the MOST comfortable bedding I've had in a hotel room in a long time. Unless youre eon the backside of the hotel you won't get a view of much, but the location, just off the Beltline and next to a major park, was most convenient.”

“Enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We were riding our motorcycle and rain was expected later the evening. They allowed us to park the bike under shelter and not in the general parking areas. Responded to all our needs to include fast friendly service. Will stay there again.”

• The front desk clerks were very attentive, efficient and helpful. The free parking was great.
• The beds were a too small.

“Very convenient. Easy to get to, easy to register, easy to park. We didn't have very much interaction with the hotel personnel (in itself a good sign) but all contacts we had were pleasant, helpful and efficient. No complaints here.”

“Great location, friendly staff, fantastic amenities. My only real complaints are that there was no free in-room internet access and that I basically had a sleepless night because the bed and pillows were so uncomfortable; I am not normally a person who has a difficult time sleeping (period, or at a hotel), and the lack of sleep affected the rest of my trip.”

• Early check in, fantastic pool room, modern decor, good TV options, free and convenient parking.
• Remote control didn't work well, not close walking distance to downtown, average view.

“This hotel was perfect for a weekend in Madison. It's not really walk able to downtown/State sty. area, but close to Lake Minona and on bike path. Plus parking is free and very convenient, so it's easy enough to drive anywhere you need to go. Because the weather was a little chilly, the highlight of the trip for us was the hotel pool room. It was perfectly warm and humid, pool was warm and large. Hot tub and sauna were also available. The room TV had Showtime, which was nice while relaxing in the room. Only complaint was that the remote didn't work well and there was not much to see out the window.”

• Appearance of the room was very pleasing.
• Shower, door lock, clock radio.

“Facilities were nice, clean and fresh. However, the shower was very poor - barely a gentle flow. The door lock was faulty. After securing a replacement key I still spent many minutes gaining entry to my room each time I used the key. Lastly, I had to unplug the clock radio as an electronic noise emitted from it every 5-10 minutes.”

• The pool and Jacuzzi were nice. The staff, very friendly.
• Parking was a bit of a challenge as convention center nearby.

“I thought the staff was great and the hotel seemed freshly refurbished. You can surf web for free in lobby via 5 free computers in Sheraton Link area (nice living room concept). The pool and Jacuzzi were good. The bar was lively and food was quite good for mid-range hotel.”

• Friendly staff, decent workout area, local newspaper provided daily.
• Getting a handicapped room; staff's failure to fix shower head for my whole stay.

“I should not have had to complain to get complimentary internet access, when Sheraton's pay-wireless was blocking the free wireless service with which I travel. Also, "Guest Services" had two full days to tighten a shower head attachment, and failed to do so. Not very good performance, that.”
