• When our original room was surrounded by loud partying women, it was changed to a more suitable one quickly with no fuss.
• There were insufficient bath towels, when additional were requested at front desk, attendant knocked on door for 5 minutes till opened instead of leaving.

“It has a lot of old world charm, yet modernly elegant with a certain sophistication, great location, really enjoyed stay.”

• Location, view from window, exercise facilities, comfortable bed, free, WiFi, and proximity to restaurants.
• Tub and shower was stuck in shower mode. Rooms a little out of date but being updated.

“Great hotel in a great location. Good service. Terrific exercise facility and lovely pool area. Easy access to my meeting locations (Monona Terrace and the state capital). Great experience all around.”

• Beautifully decorated, tasteful and understated.
• There was a lot going on in the hall and I could not sleep.

“I thought this hotel was lovely. I didn't get a very good night's sleep, but that was the fault of the very loud fraternity that had rooms near mine. That wasn't really the fault of the hotel, so I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.”

• Outstanding customer service and the beds were very soft and comfortable. Nice big bathrooms.

“The location of the Madison Concourse is perfect. Very close to the Overture Hall and everything on State Street along with the Square. I recommend this hotel to everyone. The Dayton Street Grille was fantastic.”

“The Madison Concourse Hotel is in a great location! We were able to walk to the Courthouse and to other hotspots downtown. The lobby of the hotel is gorgeous and the pool & workout area are huge.”

• Tight parking in underground garage.

“The Madison Concourse Hotel provides wonderful accommodations. The room that I stayed in was fresh and clean, there was no dust, no questionable smoky smell, no hairs in the bathroom. It was bright and clean. The beds were covered in linens that were soft and without signs of wear or previous customers. I had a great night's rest in a bed that did my tired body good. The location was perfect for getting around in the heart of Madison. Thank you.”

• The staff was very courteous & helpful. Even the housekeeping staff was great. Very friendly.

“The hotel is located downtown Madison. People were out walking everywhere, very cordial. Farmers market just around the corner. Staff was fantastic. Kids loved the pool & especially the game room area. Would definitely stay again!”

• Location is great! Nice bedding! Complimentary coffee. Helpful staff. No charge wireless is a great plus!
• Additional charge for parking.

“Very wonderful location for us. Close to the capital and the associated activities like the farmers market, close to State Street shopping and food venues, close to campus. Views from room are nice. Bedding is very comfortable. Rooms are somewhat ready for an upgrade but are still quite clean and comfortable. Front desk was very helpful and accommodating! Did not visit the restaurant this time but last time I visited Madison we enjoyed their very wonderful salad bar lunch!”

• Beautiful lobby, very clean, helpful staff and very courteous.
• Left our room at 8 am, returned at 3 pm and the room had not been cleaned.

• Paid parking was limited but available.

“One of the nicest hotels that I have ever stayed in. Upscale, with better linens, pillows, and soaps than most hotels. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Nice location next to the capital and State Street, but newcomers should beware it can be challenging to drive (and park) anywhere in this part of town.”

“Customer service was outstanding. Wonderful, friendly service. Assisted me with choosing my running route. Let me check in at 12:00 noon with no issues. Would have liked a fridge in the room but none available. Definitely recommended.”

• The bathroom in my room was seriously dated and the shower was too small for me to stand up straight.

“This is right where you want to be, the staff is great, only down side is that the bathroom is old looking and the shower is too small for a 5'11" person to stand up in, else it was so narrow that I had to stand sideways in the shower or else my arms touched the curtain and wall on wither side. The beds are phenomenal though, super comfortable.”

• Nothing, we've had noise problems in the past but not this time.

“I love going to Madison and I love staying at the Concourse. It could coast just on its location but has all the other amenities we want from nice toiletries to free Wi-Fi to great free coffee in the lobby. The pool is plenty fine too.”
