• The staff was friendly and always helpful.
• The toilets were prone to clogging, the equipment didn't always work and the room was very barren of art, etc.

“Extended Stay was a good option for us since we're remodeling and needed a kitchen and more space. The equipment, fixtures, plumbing and kitchen tools were not high quality and it was frustrating at times. The staff, however, was extremely accommodating and always friendly.”

• Great room, staff, area, quiet, good amenities.
• The lighting in the lot and walk was shoveled but the lighting at the door would help.

“Everything was great. The only problem was there had been a lot of snow and at the entrance there had been shoveled two piles on each side of door. The area that slopes up to curb height had partially been shoveled away, so when I, 70 year old lady at night, came up to sidewalk to go around the pile and up to the door, I was assuming it was flat as my view from behind the pile on approach it appeared completely flat like for wheelchairs etc. it looked. But they had shoveled away some of the walk where it started to rise to curb level, so as I came around the snow pile I tripped and fell very hard on the area that started to rise up from flat to curb height. I broke my glasses, skinned my knees, two black eyes, cut forehead, split nose and lots of pain. It would have been better if they had left the snow cover the rising part. Or if they had two walk lights at the corners of the sidewalk. ANYWAY! They were great and got me a first aid kit and an icepack to stop the blood running down my face and hitting sidewalk. BUT the hotel was great as were the staff. THEY WERE GREAT THOUGH.”

• We liked the kitchen area. Nice.
• No wash clothes!

“My complaint which I left with he hotel clerk was that we had no wash cloths in the room! No wash cloths! How does a hotel forget the basic amenities like wash cloths? It was morning when we first noticed this. We did not ask for them because it was one of those decisions you make right before you jump in the shower. We wanted to get going so we did without them. It is just that it was really annoying. The hotel was fine. This though I have never had happen. It just boggles my mind. We have no complaints with your company. Just the hotel.”

• The clerk at my checkout was very professional.
• The bathroom was dirty, sediment in the toilet.

• The room had everything you would need, DVD, microwave, fridge, lots of space, recliner.
• I did not see an indoor pool, but I can not swim.

• The kitchen was a nice feature.

“The end of the couch looked like a cat had clawed for days at it. The remote was nonexistent. They provided a new one that did not work. The DVD player did not work until the desk clerk came and monkeyed around with it for 15 minutes. The girl however was very helpful and friendly. The fact that a pool was a seasonal outdoor pool was maddening because we had a 9 year old with.”

• I liked the location the kitchen and the price the friendly staff.
• There are a few required amenities that are not available.

“I like everything about the hotel. I have been to Madison a few times for weeks on end and have chosen to stay here every time. There are a few minor things that they could added, there are dished but you have too wash them and there is no dish soap or dishwasher. So unless you thought to bring it from home you have to make a trip to the store.”

“The rooms have a lot of room, clean for the most part, but the pillows are very stiff! Hard to get a good night sleep with a pillow that hard. This hotel was right off the beltline, great location.”

• How huge the room was with all the amenities. Like a small apartment.
• We needed a smoking room; staff said smoking rooms smelled horrible so we didnt get one.

“Overall, it was very nice, and clean and well kept. But like I said my husband is a smoker, and the staff who was a smoker herself said she'd never stay in one of those rooms because the smoking rooms smelled horrible. It was very discouraging.”

• I was in a handicapped accessible room, which made the shower uncomfortable.

“Extended stay was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Front desk was helpful, especially since you needed to get your own towels daily. Housekeeping services are only once a week.”

• This hotel was convenient and close to a golf course we played at.
• Only problem, No one is at the desk until 7am. We were leaving earlier then that!

“I would recommend this hotel. The room was clean and bed comfortable. It is in a good location. Plenty of places to eat and close to the main roads. A negative was no ice in the hotel. There was a gas station right next door to get ice and other items if needed.”

• The front desk girl was so friendly!
• The hotel is located about 15 miles away from I-94.

“This hotel was a great deal! The room was clean and very large! There was a kitchen area with fridge, stove and microwave. There was also a pull out couch. The staff was very friendly and went out of her way to make my stay enjoyable! Great deal!”

“The hotel was clean and very nice, but we have never stayed at an "extended stay" hotel before and were not aware of what was offered. The gal at the front desk was very unfriendly and short with our questions. The morning gal was much friendlier.”

“The beds are to hard and if you want towels etc. Everyday you have to ask for or pay extra. No dish soap for washing dishes you use and I didn't trust the ones there to be clean from previous user.”

• Room was like a mini apartment, coffee maker in room.
• I forgot to great the wireless e-mail code.

“Hotel was very comfortable, clean, up to date decorating. Front desk staff very helpful when they were there. No one was available to help the particular night I was there from 11pm-7am the next morning. Bed was very comfortable, mini kitchen was nice, bathroom was big, water pressure for the shower was very good. All in all I was very pleased.”

• It is very close to the meetings we had to attend. The kitchen is very helpful so saving money.
• The heat had not been turned on before I checked in, so it took a while to warm up.

“The rooms are comfortable and clean. There is lots of room, and the kitchen makes it possible to bring along breakfast or other meals to prepare in the room.”

• Did not realize the heater was broken until midnight.

“Decent room, but the heater was broken. Either fan air from outside (30 degrees) or high heat. Told the front desk about it in the morning. All they could say is that they will look into it. The toilet was nasty dirty. The rest of the room was clean.”

• Outdoor pool not conducive to Wisconsin climate; no breakfast options.

“This was a clean and attractive facility that was convenient for my business travel. I wish it had a breakfast option but the full kitchen in the studio was very nice. I would recommend it to other business travelers.”
