• Cheap, clean, and decent location.
• Not many food options in surrounding area.

“Nice hotel. There was a convention going on so there were no king beds available. Food options in the surrounding are are all chain restaurants. Could walk to all the restaurants though. Not too far from downtown Springfield.”

“ The hotel staff was extremely unfriendly and terrible attitude. We were told about free cont breakfast prior to stay and then not given this. Terrible staff in almost all areas, only great staff member was the bell staff. ”

• It was pretty nice.
• For being about the highest quality hotel in Springfield its getting run down.

“We stayed one night. Ate in the restaurant, good food (not great), but the service was not organized. Used the hot tub and sauna in the pool area. It was great we had it all to ourselves.”

• Very upscale and quick response from staff.

“It was a wonderful surprise. This is definitely more like a 3.5-4 star hotel. We forgot toothpaste and were given one. Then received a call from the Quality Control department to confirm we had received it. That's first class service! Room was very nice. Only downer was the noise you could hear from the hallway as guests were going to their rooms, however, the hotel provided ear plugs in a nice little sachet bag. This tells me they are aware of the short coming and doing all they can to correct the situation. It was a great touch!”

• This is a premium hotel at a bargain price.
• It seemed deserted for a Sunday. About 30 cars in the lot.

“The staff is accustomed to treating their customers well. They followed up with a call shortly after we arrived at our room to ensure we were satisfied with it.The first floor lobby space is huge to accommodate large gatherings and it was somewhat surprising that we needed to go to the second floor to register. There are also many small and well-furnished meeting rooms.”

• Very accommodating staff, very clean, and was excellent all around.

“The room was supplied with a sleeping essentials kit which included ear plugs, eye mask, and a lavender linen spray. I slept like a baby! I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone! The staff was WONDERFUL!”

• Classy, clean, well-maintained, comfortable, large suite.
• Local traffic congregated outside to smoke by door.

“One of my favorites, and I've traveled all over the world. Beds were very nice, sofa & tables in suite for relaxing, pool & sauna clean & working. Decor was fresh & sophisticated. Staff very accommodating. The View from our 10th floor room was awesome.”

• Pool was too cool and way too much chlorine.

• Check in is on the second floor and I did not notice security on the first floor.

“Upscale, multi-story hotel with two restaurants, nightclub, pool. Rooms are very clean and elegant with very comfortable beds. Tiled bathroom is large with sink inside and has tub/shower combo with over sized shower head.”

• It was convieniently located near Springfield's Muni Opera.
• Worn fixtures, both in public places (especially elevators) and in room.

“It was an nice choice for the weekend since I was going to be attending the Muni. I really was expecting the room to be slightly more updated and cleaning had alot to be desired. Visible dust on everything.”

• Very elegant and yet family friendly.
• No bathroom in the pool area.

“The pool had undergone maintenance recently and was still warming up to the regular temperature. It was quite cold, but my kids swam in it. There are no bathrooms in the pool area, which is unfortunate. The hotel itself is very clean and spacious.”

“Hotel accommodations were really good. Very business oriented, staff was competent and friendly. The accommodations were excellent, bathrooms clean. The on site restaurant was not good. We ate there one night and the buffet left a lot to be desired and the service was terrible. We had to buss our own table. It was very overpriced. The rest of the time we ate elsewhere.”

“Rooms are beautifully appointed. love the extra pillows on the bed. Enjoyed have a fridge and microwave in our room for snacks. Very comfortable so that we were able to actually rest during our week long stay there. Also has acceptable computer access, important to us during our week long stay.”

• The doors were very loud when they closed. You hear all neighbors when they leave their rooms. TV's are extremely outdated!

• Doors slam shut causing ongoing excessive noise.

“We had a very bad experience. A group of over 500 high school children attended a conference while we were their. Slamming doors and noise past 12pm. Called security 5 times never got satisfaction. Doors on each room slam shut, gap of over 1.5" at bottom let in hall noise. Poor design. Felt like I was back in a college door.”

  at registration desk; slow service there.

“The room temperature was easy to control and the ventilation system was very quiet. The breakfast buffet was excellent. All of the staff that I encountered were pleasant and professional. I would highly recommend this hotel.”

“I received a smoking room and I do not smoke. The smell was awful. I asked to be placed in a non smoking room but was told the non smoking rooms were all sold out. The room was nice but the smell from the smoking room took away from my whole experience.”

• Loved the room, the view & feeling of security.
• Parking.

“I was completely pleased with my entire experience. The room was comfortable, the view was nice, and the entire facility was upscale. Even crossing the parking lot, late at night, I felt safe. The staff had the balance between being available and helpful, versus hovering and in the way. Great management training!

• Good location.
• This was a glorified Super 8. Poor beds, crappy TV, and no breakfast.

“This hotel caters to business travelers and conference attendees on expense account. The beds were uncomfortable, and the amenities were scarce.”

• Parking was free.
• They did not have queen size beds.

“Basically good. The room we were in appeared to have been remodeled, but they left the old light switches and face plates and they were worn/dirty looking. They did not have queen beds in the rooms that weren't king and acted like we were out of line asking about it. It was basically a nice place for business but for a romantic weekend away it didn't do it for us. We were also disappointed in the location. It was on the edge of town near other hotels, etc and we thought it would be in the downtown area.”
