• It was close enough to my business activities to make it convenient for me to get back and forth.
• The facility was uncared for: torn carpet, lingering odor, dingy/scraped paint & torn bed cover.

“The owners of this motel did not appear to care for the premises. There were two pieces of carpet torn out in our room in separate places, the paint was dingy and scraped, the bed cover had a hole in it and there was a lingering odor in the halls and rooms (we had two). The staff were the only redeeming quality of the hotel; they were very nice to us.”

• It had a kitchenette and my spouse is a chef!
• The first room we gotten hadn't been cleaned yet.

“The first room we got was dirty. We did have furnished dishes that needed to be washed before we used them. The staff was nice and gave us everything that we asked for. Overall it was a pleasant experience but it was kinda hard to get to the frontage road to get to the motel.”

• Beds are really hard and cleanliness of halls and common areas. Rooms are very clean though.

• Every room, every time smells like cig. smoke.

“Have stayed at this hotel at least 10 times and every room every time has smelled like cigarette smoke. It's apparent this hotel has a ventilation, air quality problem. If you are at all sensitive to cig. smoke do not stay at this hotel. Seriously considering never staying here, have voiced opinion to front desk and nothing is done for next stay.”

• Room was a throw back to the past.

“A fire alarm/flashing light went off at 5:30 am. I called the front desk. no answer. I vacated the room and returned when the siren stopped. I needed to leave at 7:15 am, and wanted to check-out (and ask about the 5:30 experience), but no one was on duty. I had to leave my key and go to my session.”

“There were stains every where in the public areas of the hotel. Although the parking lot was nearly empty, we were told we were getting the last room in the hotel and it was smoking. The room smelled, but luckily the windows opened, so we left them open all night. I would not recommend this hotel.”

• I didn't like anything. It was filthy.
• It was disgusting and the staff was friendly but ignorant.

“Once we got to the hotel we got the room and it was so gross. There was food in the air conditioning there was mold like substance in the toilet and stains on the blanket. The air didn't work and the window wouldn't stay open. We called to get another room, and the lady at the desk said we had to wait for a manager, which took about an hour and then the manager informed us that there were no other rooms and we would have to go to a different hotel.”

“I was in the Peoria area for a music festival about 15 miles away and room fulfilled its purpose as a place to crash at a very cheap rate close to the destination. Room had a kitchenette which was useful in the morning when I awoke dehydrated and had water in the refrigerator.”

• There was a fan in the wall of the bathroom, not the switch able bath fan, but one that would not turn off, that was humming loudly, enough to bother.

“Clean and what we expected from Extended Stay. I suggest that Extended Stays should reserve the parking space in front of the entrance for check in/checkout there is nowhere at most extended stays, Peoria included, to park while unleaded. They also need a second luggage cart someone had not returned the one and many visitors at extended stay places have quite a bit of luggage with the food and snacks to use in the kitchen.”

• Where it was located. Located at the dead end of road.

“The refrigerator was leaking. I arrived back at the hotel around 2:30 a.m. in the morning and was unable to locate my key. It had actually fell out of my purse in the car. There was a phone on the wall inside the building that you could call for assistance. I dialed that number and no one ever answered the phone. It was scary. Then I decided to check my car and I found the key on the floor. It was a good thing because none was going to assist me. If I had not found my key I guess I would have had to call 911. This hotel is a little too self-service for my preference.”

• There was not a whole lot I like about this hotel.
• Carpeting torn up, shower head moved all over would not stay in one spot, hallway smelled.

“I would not recommend this hotel. It was not in the greatest condition and the hallway entrance smelled. There are plenty of nicer hotels in the vicinity. I would not go here and think that the star rating was way off!”

“The only difference between this ESA and a Motel 6 is that you get a sink and stove in the room. There are no amenities, no service, no pool/spa, bath floor is old vinyl, shower head was partially plugged, bed uncomfortable, very small TV, hallway carpets stained, elevator smelled, maybe Motel 6 is nicer. This is definitely not a 2-star hotel. I got robbed on this one.”

• This hotel was very clean and quiet, and the kitchen was convenient.
• The room decor is very Spartan - white and beige. No frills or super soft bed.

“This hotel was a very good value for the money. The room was very clean, and the kitchen was convenient. The hotel was quiet, on a quiet dead end street backing to a wooded area, although you could hear people walking overhead in the room upstairs. This chain does not have daily maid service, which actually made our stay more serene since there were no clusters of maids talking and vacuuming in the halls. There are no cots available at this hotel if you bring kids. You need an air mattress.”

• No necessities were provided, a tad on the dirty side, or rundown, in the room.

“This is a 1-star hotel, plain and simple. I expect a little bit more from a 2 star hotel. This was downright basic, a 19" TV, a bed, and a bathroom, basically that is all the room had, and a kitchenette.”

• The desk clerk was not there when I arrived, because they close at 11:00pm and lock the doors.

“Hotel was very clean and well maintained. I just stayed for one night, but it had appliances I could have used if I was staying longer. Everything was as neat as can be and would stay there again if I had the opportunity to do so.”

“Nice hotel, but disappointed that there wasn't free internet. They charged me $5.95 extra a night for internet. Also, they didn't offer anything for breakfast. Even a cold serve would be great.”

• The am manager listened to my concerns and sent me a free stay coupon for future use.
• This room was not well stocked.

“The room had no glasses or mugs to drink from. The towels were not all folded but laying on counter. Used? No coffee packets, lotion or shampoo found. The sugar packets that were found were hard clumps of artificial sugar. Bowl in cupboard was full of white wax. There was a pen/bead and fuzzes on the carpeted floor. The manager was very sorry and apologetic and listened to my disappointments. I have received a complimentary coupon in the mail already. The pm staff also tried to help fix the stocking issues.”

• It was clean. Front desk, Andrew, was kind & considerate. Heater/air conditioner worked appropriately.
• Walls are thin, hear above you, & next door. Have to ask for shampoo, hair dryer, etc. Controller did not work the greatest.

“I could not be moved to a 2nd floor room, even though the people above me that were very noisy had checked out. Walls do appear to be thin and not insulated the greatest.”

• I like extended stay hotels because of the kitchens. That's a money saver for me.
• The hotel seemed pretty empty but somehow or other the staff could not find a room for me that was closer to the elevator.

“It was comfortable and convenient for the price. I enjoy the kitchen not only because I like to cook, but because of the convenience and the ability to save money. I always enjoy extended stay hotels.”
