• Ken (a desk clerk at the hotel) was very helpful with questions I had about the community.
• The wireless internet connection was interfered with by the next-door hotels wireless broadcast.

“Clean, great breakfast, quiet, convenient to the surrounding Germantown area. Would definitely stay there again.”

• No refrigerator in the room.

“It was easily located, the staff were very nice, the atmosphere was great. There is an indoor pool and Jacuzzi. the complementary breakfast was nicer than most. One of the best hotels overall that I've ever stayed in.”

• location ...location...location....nice shopping center, movie theatre and dining very close to this hotel...very nice area
• directions to find hotel were confusing

“This is an older hotel, but was very clean and staff was very nice. It is in a very nice area of Memphis with shopping and dining about a block away. They have an inside pool which the children of the other guests were happily using when we arrived.It is not close to downtown Memphis, but for spending the afernoon and evening it was just right for us. We would return here if we were in the Memphis area again.”

“no problems experienced whatsoever. the front desk was polite, knowledgeable, and lightning fast getting us in our room. no credit card needed for incidentals, either!! would stay again in a heartbeat. thanks fairfield inn, germantown!!”

• The gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful
• The location was next to impossible to find.

“The hotel overall met my expectations. The walls were somewhat thin as I could hear my neighbors walking across the floor and could make out parts of conversations too.”

• It was next to train tracks - very loud in the middle of night

“Staff very friendly and accommodating. Were quick to take care of noise problems during night. Too close to train tracks and crossings. trains ran during late night and early morning and were VERY loud. Not a good nights sleep.”

• The stopper in the bathtub did not work.

• there was sausage and ants all in our room. filthy

“This hotel was in a great, safe area of town, but was lacking in cleanliness. The elevator smelled, and the room itself, had ants crawling all over. The shampoo in the bathroom had been used and closed back up.”

• The location and that it had an indoor pool with whirlpool.
• The mattress was too soft. No firmness AT ALL.

“The hotel, over all was good. The location was safe and accessible but the pool looked as if it either needed the floor cleaned or repainted. The rooms were comfortably appointed and clean but the mattresses were old and very soft.”
