• They were friendly and tried to be helpful at all times.
• There was some noise next door after midnight but the hotel put a stop to it.

“This is a good hotel but the neighborhood after dark is not the best in the city. The hotel was conscience of safety of their guests. The room was clean and well cared for. I'd stay there again. The first night there was some noise in the room next door but a call to the desk put a stop to it. The hotel seemed very concerned with making sure their customers were treated properly. It was on a corner of a business park.”

• The beds were very comfy.
• The hotel staff could not give directions and we were hung up on when we called to ask.

“Most of the staff friendly by Memphis standards. Very clean. Need wireless signal repeaters. Housekeeping totally ignores, do not disturb signs. Banged on door so loudly I thought a fire had occurred.”

“There was a large Soccer Tourney in Memphis that weekend. A lot of families and kids. The staff kept the place very clean and orderly. The wireless network is finicky.”

“I am an airline pilot and stay here very often. Staff is usually friendly by Memphis standards. Internet never works in the room. Very clean and much nicer than their facility on Nocona Blvd., near the airport.”

• Beautiful room and public spaces.
• Swimming pool was closed.

“Hotel was nice. Although in a dicey neighborhood. Neighborhood seems to be in decline, but not too bad. Worst of all, the swimming pool was closed our entire stay. I had planned a trip to Memphis partly to take advantage of nice weather and pool. The weather was nice. I cannot believe in a city like Memphis which is in the south and had warm weather beginning in April did not open their pool until the day we checked out. That was really bad!”

• The pool and grounds were attractive.
• Getting Internet access was quite difficult, and the staff knew very little about it.

“Pleasant, safe, attractive hotel with polite and accommodating staff. I had trouble using the wireless network; neither the hotel staff nor the 800 "help" number were much help in this regard. Fortunately, there were in-house computers in the lounge which worked for me to check my email. Breakfast is not included, and the restaurant serves only breakfast, an inconvenience in an area with lots of fast food but few restaurants.”

“For the money this was an excellent hotel. It met and exceeded my expectations of a 2.5 star hotel. My wife and I came to a birthday party and just needed a place for overnight and this was well worth the price. Will stay again.”

• The room was very clean & comfortable. It was a little far from downtown, but it was a nice area.
• Hotel features say a indoor/outdoor connecting pool & whirlpool. The pool was only outdoor & both were very dirty.

“Since we booked this hotel with the explicit intent of swimming indoors, I was very disappointed to find only an outdoor pool, which was very dirty. The hotel features say indoor/outdoor connecting pool which is not true. Additionally, the features listed a whirlpool which was also very dirty and with cold water. That aside, the room was very nice and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to others as long as they did not intend on swimming indoors.”

• Nice, clean, comfortable, business friendly, location close to major hwy.
• Management and/ or staff didn't respect the d.n.d on the door.

“Tow thumbs up for cleanness, fast check in and out, friendly front desk and housekeeping staff (the ones I talked to) updated furniture and appliances. I had a problem with maintenance. We came back to our hotel room to a wet clean carpet, chair and ottoman, when I told housekeeping I don't service, towels or anything at all. Keep in mind privacy card was placed on my door lock while we left the room.”

• The market located in the front lobby to purchase drinks and snacks.
• Requested a new alarm clock for the broken one was told I¿d have to switch rooms after I¿d unpacked.

“Customer service could definitely be improved. With a young child and being very ill upon arrival (which had been expressed to front desk staff) I would expect a little help in meeting my needs such as a replacement alarm clock, but those needs went unmet. Bed was uncomfortable, as were the pillows.”

“This hotel was a pleasure to stay at, clean and well kept up, the staff was pleasant, a nice welcome coffee/tea fruit station downstairs, great showerhead, pool and Jacuzzi that were also clean and well maintained. A great experience for such a great price! Also, attractive room decor.”

“I am an airline pilot with frequent stays in MEM and have have booked this hotel several times. I always request a King bed at check-in. Every time the front desk says this is NOT ALLOWED. ”

• I loved the overall atmosphere. I enjoyed the free internet access. The free coffee in the lobby was always fresh and great.
• One of the guys there was not as customer focused as I would of course liked but the rest of the staff was excellent.

• I loved the bar area with the flat screen TV and free computer access.
• They weren't very informative about the buffet breakfast not being free. Need signs.

“This hotel was very nice. Be careful about thinking that the buffet breakfast is free. I would hate for you to get the food, sit down, begin eating, and then receive a bill that you were not prepared for. Luckily, you can bill it to your room should you be caught off guard.”

“My daughter and I spent a week-end here to go shopping in Germantown and around. The employees were outstanding the room was spotless and the beds were assume. We both have neck and back problems and with their new bedding we both sleep like we haven't in a long time and no aches and pains in the morning. It was fantastic! A+A+A+ It was a little ways out,but beautiful suburban area! Recommend HIGHLY!”

“This is a nice place to stay, good appointments, and the location is pretty good, however, the staff did give me a hard time about checking in early, other then that the hotel is a nice place to stay in Memphis. There is security for parking, which put me at ease with the safety of my car.”

• I am very particular about cleanliness & I felt like this hotel was clean.
• No comment.

“This was the best hotel that we have ever stayed in. It was clean, we got great service. They even had little cards at the front desk with directions to popular locations. Coffee and flavored creamers were complimentary at the front desk. It was quiet and peaceful; we were not waken in the morning with noise outside our door or window.”

• There was a charge for breakfast which we were led to believe was included.

“We enjoyed our overnight stay at this hotel especially for the price we paid. We were disappointed that breakfast cost us an extra unexpected $20. We had asked on the phone prior to arrival if there was a continental breakfast and the man said, "no, we have a full, hot breakfast!" He did not say that it was not included. Overall, it was very clean and comfortable.”

• The location was a bit off the beaten track, not terrible though.

“ As a former business traveler, I've stayed in quite a few hotels. In particular, I had unfavorable recollections of one particular Marriott Courtyard I had stayed in and was dreading my stay in this one. To my delight, the room was as well-appointed as most any full-service hotel I've stayed in. The beds were extremely comfortable, the room was nicely decorated, and the desk and free high-speed internet worked well for the business traveler. The only downside for me is that the Courtyard is not a full-service hotel, so there was no restaurant, room service, and so on. Otherwise, no complaints. Very nicely done for what it aspires to be.”

• The location was great, right off the interstate. The staff was friendly and the hot cookies were the best.
• It was perfect. I was pleasantly surprised when my price was accepted and that was the hotel.

“The rooms were clean and spacious. The hotel was surrounded by trees which made it a little secluded and scenic. The staff was friendly and most helpful. I also noticed that the lobby had computers. Even though I didn't need one, it was good to know that they were there. I hope to get another opportunity to stay there.”

• Undergoing renovation, although did not affect our stay.

“Even though undergoing renovation, the staff was very helpful and friendly, and although the lobby was in disarray, our floor and room had been completely remodeled and were very nice. Although we did not partake in the breakfast, the staff was extraordinarily friendly and made it very tempting.”

• Modern, very friendly staff, nice king size bed.
• Soccer convention while I was there, some child either pooped or put a object in the whirlpool either which the tub was not closed and I got in it!

“Nice place, very nice breakfast cafe but no lunch or dinner. No room service, and we were there on a weekend and the level of management was not there to handle the above mentioned problem with the whirlpool.”

• The staff was friendly.
• I did not like that someone was hammering at 9:00 a.m. in the room directly above me.

“The hotel met my needs. It was easily accessible from the interstate, safe, clean, and only 15 minutes from the downtown attractions. My only complaint is that someone started hammering in the room above me at 9:00 a.m. I do not know if it was staff or a guest. Since I was already awake and getting dressed, it was not an issue.”

• Friendly staff went out of their way to help us to include making a copy of a list of restraints which deliver to the rooms.
• Cafe is only open for the breakfast meal.
