• Cocktail hour.
• Fish smell.

“For some reason there was quite a fish smell, was told it was something about the koi fish.”

• The breakfast was excellent, and the cooks were very polite and always smiling.

• Enjoyed the complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast each morning.

“Just about everything was beyond our expectations. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. There were two minor negatives: We didn't get clean towels on Friday, but that may have been due to miscommunication on our part; and on Sunday we had problems regulating the hot water in the shower. The handle may have been loose, but we had trouble getting the handle turned to cold. I forgot to mention it to the front desk when I called to check out on Monday. Otherwise, it was an excellent weekend, at a very good facility.”

• The hotel felt like home.
• The elevators were slow.

“The hotel was wonderful, but especially the staff that helps with the breakfast. Those omelets were wonderful. If we ever go to Memphis again - we're staying at the Embassy Suites Hotel.”

• Clean, neat rooms. Plentiful breakfast. Friendly staff.
• Charged for wireless internet.

“Beautiful facility and very clean throughout. The room was comfortable, a little smaller than I'm used to a suite being though. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast buffet offered plenty to choose from and also had cooks available to make omelets and pancakes while you waited. I loved this hotel and would definitely return and refer my friends and family.”

• The friendliness of the staff.
• I did not like being charged twice for the stay.

“My over all stay was very enjoyable. I was quite surprised upon arriving at six thirty to find that the room was not yet ready since check in was at three pm. Maybe in future situations some sort of compensation could be made. It would be nice if extra pillows and blankets were provided for both beds. This could prevent late night calls to housekeeping.”

• Beautiful atrium, pool, always predictably nice neighborhood, solid rooms.
• Far from the town center, currently under construction.

“Slightly smaller rooms than other Embassy Suites we have visited but still very nice, we have found Embassy Suites to be such a predictable hotel chain we are becoming quite loyal - just can't deal with the unknown anymore now with 2 small kids. Breakfast ROCKED! and the service was GREAT. There are a bunch of places to eat nearby too.”

• Nice facilities; nice complimentary breakfast.
• We were stuck with a smoking room the smell was horrible.

“The hotel was nice but I messed up and reserved a smoking room. My family could not sleep it smelled so badly. The hotel staff said they would send up an ionizer machine but failed to deliver on this promise. Also, they were out of non smoking rooms to replace with our room.”
