• Clean, comfortable accommodations, plus a very friendly and efficient staff.
• No hot tub in pool area.

• Lobby area, comfort of bed.
• Room rug had numerous stains on it, room pretty dark.

“3 -1/2 star hotel bed was comfortable but the rug condition in the room was a 2 star level based upon multiple stains on rug. Lobby area was was well lit.”

• It was extremely convenient to Downtown & our family.
• The parking lot was roped off & not enough space.

“The hotel was in a great location for visiting family and downtown Memphis. It was convenient to other shopping/restaurants. Our shampoo bottle was used. We had to park in the outer section of the parking lot when there were spaces available at the back, but roped off. Part of the hotel was under construction. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was a large family reunion group there with kids running up and down the hall, but we would stay there again.”

• Price and location.
• Kind of run down.

“They are upgrading the hallways, but the rooms really need a lift. Carpet burnt, handle to bath tub broken, drains are draining slowly, and curiously no heavy shades to darken the windows. Only a light gauzy material was used for window covering, so if you are wanting to sleep late or are modest, this isn't the place for you.”

• It appeared to be new and was extremely clean, the smell of the cookies permeated the air.
• No comment.

“My daughter and I had a great time here. My 14 year old commented on how friendly all the staff were. It was very clean and safe. The bed was very comfortable with soft, smooth linens. We loved it.”

“The fridge was dirty on the inside, two light sockets didn't work, the a/c leaked, lamp wouldn't work, smelled musty, a/c knob was broken off so you couldn't adjust it.”

• Great and safe location.
• The ceiling in the bathroom appeared to have mold on it.

“I can't complain about the hotel. Safe and relatively clean hotel room. The hotel was going through a remodel, and some parts of the building obviously needed it. Overall, it was a good experience.”

• Denis ha at the front desk.
• The entire staff and security other than Denis ha and the service we reserved at the restaurant was very unacceptable.

“Never judge people by their looks, you never know who they are. Thats my advice. The customer is always right!”

“I also decided to try room service. The kitchen staff and server staff provided excellent customer service, but the food was served on dirty plates. The wallpaper in the room was worn and peeling at the seams. Paint was chipped in other areas and at the entrance of the hotel room. The management company needs obviously needs to do some renovations.”

• The bed was so very comfortable and they had warm cookies.
• The housekeeping staff starting knocking on the door early in the morning asking what time we were checking out.

“I loved the hotel and will stay there everytime i travel to Memphis. The staff as friendly I loved the warm cookies.”

• Great comfortable rooms, restaurant was fabulous.
• I could not access WiFi in our room.

“This was above our expectations for the price. I could not get on line even with talking to help line and using a bridge supplied from the front desk. We had an end room and the connectivity for WiFi was not conecting even tough it said I was on line.”

• The number of pillows.

“Upon arriving we were greeted warming and the desk attendant was efficient and friendly. Our room was as we expected it to be, clean, and with a certain degree of luxury. Beds were comfortable and we rested well. I would return.”

“This is a conveniently located hotel that has been newly renovated. Linens and bedding were very nice. Bathrooms were renovated but still a little small but adequate. Overall, it had a friendly staff and the chocolate chip cookies at check-in were a nice touch.”

“I like this hotel because I feel safe there. The parking lot is well-light and close to the lobby door. It is near several good restaurants. The rooms are comfortable.”

“Overall, the stay was better than my last experience at the Doubletree Orlando-Universal. The staff at this Doubletree at the desk was courteous. However, the careline was almost impossible to get through to express any concerns.”

• I like the convenience of location also the accessibility to stores and restaurants.
• I did not like the unclean halls and attitude of some of the staff.

• The staff was very friendly and responsive, the bed was very comfortable, room service breakfast was excellent and swivel mounted TV was convenient.
• Could not figure out in-room coffee maker and would have liked more channels on TV.

“Nicely appointed room with comfortable king-size bed, Neutrogena bath products were available and excellent room service meals. Location was convenient to airport and central city attractions.”

“This hotel is in a great location. It is central to every hot spot in Memphis, such as Beale Street, Elvis Presley, Wolf chase Galleria, etc. There is a Wild Oat that is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. I loved the hotel and the location.”

• The concierge hostess, was the greatest. Made me feel at home and very attentive.
• Location is not easy to get in and out of.
