• Bed and linens were comfortable, clean, and I slept so well!
• Front desk staff was not helpful, gave no direction, snack machine prices were robbery.

“I would stay there again because I'm certain the night front desk clerk that checked us in when we arrived has probably been fired by now. Beds were great, linens were fine, very clean, secure locked lot for car.”

• Everyone we came in contact with was very helpful and friendly.
• Everything was good.

“Very clean friendly staff. Customer service was excellent. This was the second time we stayed at this hotel in Memphis. When we decided to go this time I didn't even look for another location or another hotel.”

• The staff were phenomenal. They were always eager to help in any way.
• There was not a restaurant open for lunch and supper.

• As I checked in the hotel staff girl was very nice and accommodating.
• The jets that flew overhead vibrated the room! But, that couldn't be helped.

“The sliding glass doors which opened to the pool/courtyard area had broken locks; the only working lock was a bar which was also broken. The toilet would not flush, because the water pressure was too low.

• The bed was too soft, when asked to move they say all beds are like that.

“Bed was too soft, gate did not open to exit key card did not work to let you in the gate, bathroom light work when it wanted to the young man fixed it two times oh and the doors leading into the hotel did not work.”

• I liked that it was quiet and they provided a free shuttle to the airport.
• First room, sliding glass door came off hinges - reported it but no one there to fix it - moved me to another room - no wireless internet in rooms.

“In the middle of nowhere - no restaurants within easy access - gated parking lot was unnerving plus bars on sliding glass doors - first room, had a hard time getting online (no wireless in rooms and little to no instructions from hotel staff on how to get online if there is any problem) - Went to got sit on the balcony, tried to slide the sliding glass door and it came off it's track. Thankfully, I was able to catch it before it tumbled over the balcony and crashed on the ground -reported it to the staff thinking they would send someone up to fix it - after several minutes, called again and they told me there was no one there to fix it that night and they would just move me to another room. I wondered what they were thinking, they were going to do before I called the second time. Once in my second room, things were fine. Got up the next morning and took their complimentary shuttle to the airport and was off. Rooms were nice. Bed was comfortable. Place does, however, need some repairs.”

• The hotel was not kept as well as one would expect of Marriot.

“The hotel was not kept as well as one would expect of a Marriot hotel. The hotel is overdue for renovation or refurbishing. I would not pay regular price for a hotel room there. Its location is a bit odd sandwiched inside a corporate park. It is also gated which raises suspicion about crime in the immediate area.”

• It was the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on in my entire life!
• The surrounding area was somewhat rundown, or more industrial than I expected, but I did not feel unsafe.

“The location is great. Right off of the highway. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. I don't know what kind of mattress that was, but it was great! It was everything I needed or wanted in terms of getting a good night's sleep and then getting back on the road the next morning.”

• Computer in lobby with internet access a definite plus.
• I have no complaints.

“This hotel is an ideal hotel if you are touring Graceland and desire to stay near the Memphis airport. Also, this hotel is about 10 minutes from downtown if you want to tour Beale Street, Sun Studios, Mud Island and the Peabody hotel. The staff is friendly and they have preprinted directions to all the tour sites which is wonderful. Lastly, they have a computer in the lobby with internet access which is a definite plus in my book. I would highly recommend this hotel.”

• I liked the friendly Staff. I felt free to ask questions or for any help I might need. They were not only willing to help but were very knowledgeable.
• I have not found anything.

“It was a very beautiful hotel located in a very comfortable area where you can feel safe. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I especially thank Marriott for the available computer. The staff seemed to be willing to do whatever they could to help you in any way.”

• Big clean room with view of scenic pool area.
• Nothing I didn't like.

“The hotel is very conveniently located to I-55 on which I drove to Memphis. Due to the nature of my visit I wasn't able to spend much time in the hotel. Other than sleeping I didn't see or do much else at the hotel. My room was big and comfortable with a balcony overlooking the pool area. I wish I had time to swim because the pool looked very inviting. The staff was always friendly and helpful. Overall I enjoyed my visit and would stay there again.”

“we were there on business as Katrina hit the gulf coast . the hotel was wonderful dealing with those seeking refuge from the tremendous loss in their lives. I was able to be patient with less then perfect housekeeping, etc in view of the tragic events at hand. These emplyees deserve a metal for their kindness.”

“The rooms were very clean. We had two double beds in our room. A queen would have been better for 2 people. The hotel did have a small restaurant in the complex but the food was only average. Overall for the price it was OK.”

“We almost left this hotel after checking in. The room was poorly insulated and the highway noise kept the majority of the family awake most of the night. The bedding was torn or had numerous holes in it. Terribly disappointing.”

• The exterior and the maintenance man
• The rooms were filthy, carpet nasty, sliding door wouldn't open, bathroom disgusting

“This was the worse Marriott I have ever stayed in. The front exterior was well kept....lawn manicured, but you can't judge a book by it's cover. The courtyard was not well taken care of.....I don't think anyone has done anything to it in months. The rooms were nasty, carpet needed cleaning, bed was stained, furniture was stained, bathroom was disgusting. We were afraid to touch anything for fear of disease.”

• Management was unconcerned after our checkout, see the note below.

“We accidently left behind,in the room's closet, about half of my wife's clothing for the trip. Most of it was new and unworn, with tags attached. The next morning, management's response was lethargic at best. Five hours after my first call, they responded. No clothing in the room or with housekeeping. At one point I was told they were "too busy" to deal with this.”

• The hotel was quite attractive and very clean.
• It was close to an area that did not appear very safe.

“This hotel is very convenient to interstates and the airport. It is very clean and attractive with nice furnishings and landscaping. The parking lot was gated but the gate was open whenever we went through it. The fact that the area was not the most desirable was it's only drawback.”
