• Proximity to highway and Beale Street.
• Valet seemed a little confused when I pulled up in my car. But in the end he was helpful.

“Very nice no-frills hotel. Everything was clean, everything worked, the staff was ready for my arrival and had me checked in and headed to my room within 5 minutes. Very nice facilities for the price and the location cannot be topped.”

• Great location. Very friendly and courteous staff.
• Limited parking for check in.

“Great place to stay if in Downtown Memphis. Plenty of room and comfortable. Hot breakfast and hot tub on the roof to top it off!”

• Great downtown location, friendly staff and good service.

“Residence Inn Downtown Memphis is conveniently located in the center of downtown, right on the trolley line with easy access to the Convention Center and the Riverfront. It's just a short walk to Beale Street, Union Avenue and many other points of interest. The hotel is in a renovated historic apartment building, and the room was attractive, clean and comfortable.”

• Very close to Beale street.
• Did not have a pool.

“This is a great hotel. Its very close to Beale Street, looks nice & is very safe. The breakfast was also very tasty. My only complaint is that it said it had a pool & it in fact does not only a small Jacuzzi on the roof, which is nice.”

• Loved the layout of the room studio; location was nice.
• Liked everything.

“Located in an old building in Downtown Memphis. Residence Inn did a great job in keeping their layout of rooms. Heard people I didn't know on Beale Street telling others about how nice their rooms were at the Residence Inn. Location was great for Downtown attractions.”

• I liked the location, it was close to downtown attractions.
• Street parking was not convenient.

“The residence inn was great for our one night stay. It was easy to get to and close to our destination (Southwest Tn Community College.) The rooms were lovely, bed was really comfortable and the brunch buffet was great! All the staff was very polite and accommodating. Overall it was a fantastic place to stay.”

• The employees were pleasant and helpful. The rooms were very nice and clean.
• That they did not pay for the parking and wanted $10 more to valet than the parking garage charged.

“This hotel is very nice. It is perfect right along the trolley route and easy access to many attractions in the town. The parking is the worst thing. I feel if the validation of parking was included in the price of the room it would have been acceptable.”

• Architecture, staff, location, room design.
• No food in room, TVs not flat screen.

“Well, totally pleased. Great location and great price. The rooms are totally cool and comfortable and the entire staff is helpful and smiley.”

• Centrally located downtown Memphis and increased the pleasure of our visit to that city.
• Had nothing to compliance about.

“This is a residence inn, part of the Marriott chain. The hotel is centrally located in downtown Memphis 1/2 block from main street in which one can utilize the streetcar line. It is easy walking distance of the rendezvous restaurant that specializes in bar-b-quivery very good. Our unit had a full kitchen with micro-wave, refrigerator, dishwasher & full complement of dishes & silverware. NA”

• Close to Beale Street w/o the noise. Great hotel.
• Early check-in was difficult to do w/o manager's help.

“Aside from one less than helpful front desk clerk, hotel is excellent. Great location in heart of city, close enough to walk to Beale Street w/o the noise when you're ready for bed. Great staff, rooms are nice, free breakfast is worth eating and happy hour for quick sandwich and beer if you like. I'll stay here from now on.”
