• Great and friendly Staff.
• Only parking available is valet parking. You can find place to park in street, but not very user friendly.

“I like this hotel if you are staying in New Orleans for convention. Walking distance to convention center and to other tourist location. Only thing I did not care for was the $28 valet parking fee. No self parking unless you wanted to find a spot in the street. Staff was extremely helpful and professional. Room was clean and food pricing was reasonable. I would recommend this place for family looking for place away from Broubon Street.”

• I stayed in a very comfortable room with great beds, nice TV, & warm, friendly, helpful staff. I'd stay there again.

“I chose this chain because I've stayed at its' other hotels in other cities & have had good comfortable rooms, no complaints on any of them. This hotel did not disappoint me. It was very quiet & clean.”

• The restaurant was beautiful and the food was excellent! The bed was comfortable also.
• Parking was too expensive.

• They let us check in at 11 am which was wonderful.

“This hotel is in a great location, only a few blocks from Bourbon Street and right by Gordon Biersch in Harrah's. The Riverwalk is across the street. We had a great time, and it was nice being able to go to a hotel that was actually quiet at night.”

“We had a great stay at Wyndham Riverfront. Room service stopping at 10:00pm was a little strange for New Orleans. Wireless internet and a more modern TV would be nice as well.”

• The beds were super comfortable!
• Couldn't get a veggie burger, room service too pricey.

“Very nice staff, very clean rooms, the bartender was awesome, beds very comfy. Wish the restaurant had a couple of vegan items and wish room service wasn't so pricey. Overall, had a great stay.”

• Location. It was close enough but not in the middle of all the French Quarter action.
• On the 3rd day of the stay my room was not properly cleaned and the toilet paper not completely replenished.

“Good Hotel. The room service salad was a little less than expected and the water glasses and napkins were not removed from the room the next day. The napkin was actually still on the ground when I returned back to the room.”

• It exceeded our expectations - lovely and clean and luxurious and the beds were extremely comfy.
• The valet parking was a shambles, less so on arrival but complete chaos on departure.

“This hotel was clean and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was convenient for all the tourist parts of N'Orleans though for some it might be a long walk to the French Quarter. We would definitely stay there again.”

• Absolutely nothing.
• Everything. Parking for 3 days was $100 and we were charged for internet.

“My husband and I had a room with two double beds. These usually only accommodate one person. We had to sleep in separate beds the entire trip and the front desk staff made no effort whatsoever to change our rooms or accommodate us otherwise. I feel like I was treated as a second class citizen. They bugged us the entire trip about our incidental fees and in front of other guests at the front desk, made it seem that we were trying to run out on our bill. We arrived late and the employee who checked us in acted as if it were a chore. We asked where we could find a restaurant open that late and he just shrugged his shoulders and said I don't know. I don't believe my husband and I were the only guests who had issues with the front desk. Every time we came through the lobby on our way out for the day, there was always a guest at the front desk either complaining about lack of service or having issues with their room. I will not stay at this hotel again. This was the worst experience I have had in a hotel in sometime and I travel quite a bit. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone else, despite its location.”

• The customer service was wonderful.
• The room did not have the amenities that 4 star should have.

“The customer service is great; however, the room did not include the amenities that a 4-star hotel should have. The bathroom did not have any towel racks (we were told to hang our towels to save water so we hung them on the shower rod, but the maid still took them away). No table to eat on in the room. Feather pillows on the beds (one of us is allergic). Only one customer service complaint. We had our car valet parked. Three times we called down to schedule the car to be read at a certain time and the car was not there when we came down. The valet told us that he had not received notice.”

• The lobby decor is quite pleasant.
• It is not geared to today's high-tech savvy travelers.

“I do not feel that this hotel deserves a 4-star. Although it looks pretty on the surface, the underlying issues do not speak of 4 star quality. Things are going to happen even at the best of hotels. What makes the difference between a 4 star hotel and others is how those issues are handled. This hotel has not mastered that level of customer service. The first room I was given had only tepid water for showering and the bed was worn out and very uncomfortable. There was not adequate outlets for all of our modern-day gadgets. I was given another room, which was much nicer, had working hot water and a much more comfortable bed, but the bathtub did not drain properly, so by the end of the shower, you were standing in ankle deep dirty water. The balance of my stay was pleasant. I did find it very odd that a supposed 4-star hotel charges for internet access when most all motel-level accommodations provide that service for free. Additionally, please be aware that there is a very high parking fee associated with this property ($28), and you will need a car, as it is not particularly convenient to anything other than the convention center and the casinos.”

• The location was convenient.
• The bed and bathroom were very small. The made walked in on us.

“The toilet ran, the housekeeper walked in, the bathroom room wasn't cleaned completely after our first night. We were disappointed with the hotel.”

• Hallways rambling had hard time finding room dark lighting no parking.

“Okay hotel - not worth 4 stars. Art deco lighting in halls not enough light. Hallways rambling hard to find room. Elevator slow. Nice shower - plenty of hot water and nice water pressure. Name says riverfront yet no river in sight.”

• Staff, the original artwork hanging everywhere, the atmosphere.
• The vending machines were on the opposite side of the hotel which was eerie to walk around in silence.

• The beds were softer than my own and the cleaning service was prompt and great. Everyday.
• It was not close to what I came for which was the New Orleans Arena and Bourbon Street.

• The rooms were spacious, bed extremely comfortable, location was good, close to everything.
• Lacking a bar or lounge in the hotel. Did not see a swimming pool or fitness room.

“Overall the location and accommodation of this hotel were excellent. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. Shopping, dining and the casino were within walking distance. The beds were great and the room size was as well.”

• The elevators are not centrally located so it can be a long walk to your room.

“This was not a bad place. 10 minutes walk to the French quarter, 5 minute walk to Harrah's casino. It is close to a few very good restaurants! (I did not eat at the hotel restaurant. It always seemed empty and that is usually not a good sign!”

• The hotel was great. One rude attendant which wasn't bad to say Ive had worse. Parking was great, food was excellent. Will stay here again soon.

“This hotel is ideal for convention visitors to new Orleans as it is almost directly across the street from the convention center. It is a relatively short walk to the French quarter from the hotel. The room was nice. Hailing a cab from this location was sometimes difficult.”

“I did not stay at the Wyndham Riverfront. I stayed at the Bourbon Orleans. The W.R. was under renovation. I did not like my room at the B.O. Historic Wyndham because the window was very small. I felt claustrophobic.”
