  • Good location.
  • Very rude staff. We did not feel welcome here.

“We encountered three staff personnel and all were very rude. It was as if we were bothering them that we wanted to check into our room. The room, though, was nice and the location is great.”

  • Not sure but my room was noisy (possibly elevator).

  • Central location, clean rooms, friendly service.
  • Charge for wireless/high speed internet access, expensive required valet.

“I stayed at this hotel because of a conference that was being held here. It was a clean hotel with good service. However, it is beyond comprehension to me why there is no complimentary wireless access or why it is so poor all throughout the hotel. What is more, valet parking is required and it's $30/day! If you're about the French Quarter (I'm not), it's in a pretty good location.”

  • Seems like every time I did something, I had to tip someone. I couldn't even carry my own bags.

  • The staff was very attentive.
  • The bathroom floor grout appeared dirty. There were dust bunnies on the bathroom door hinges.

“The staff was very attentive from the time we pulled in. We were informed upfront that the parking fee would be $30.00, but there are few choices in the downtown area and we had driven 8 hours to get there. Staff was helpful in directing us to restaurants that serve local cuisine.”

  • The only thing I enjoyed was the view.
  • Mold in the bathroom.

“I did not like the service a the hotel, my linen has stains on it, the bathroom had mold around the tub. No internet access, the valet parking $30 a day outrageous. I would not stay at this hotel ever again.”

  • Very upscale looking, nice sized room.
  • Concierge wasn't very helpful.

“Very close to the French Quarter, so it makes it easy to walk over there and not worry about taxis/driving. The hotel had a very nice interior; the room was nice and clean. It would have been better if there had been some sort of continental breakfast. The parking is pretty expensive ($30 for the one night we were there) so if you can find an alternative parking spot that's cheaper you should consider it.”

  • Nice view.
  • The valet parking was not organized and had traffic tied up for 3 hours to park only to find out it would still be another 45 minutes and parked elsewhere.

“The hotel didn't seem like it was set up to accommodate its patrons. We sat in traffic for 3 hours waiting to valet only to find out it would be another 45 minutes to park and your valet suggested another parking area so we had to pay $40.00 to park elsewhere. I am still not sure if our room had been totally cleaned because there was still trash in the trash cans and when I tried to call down to the desk, I kept getting put on hold. We ate at the restaurant and our steaks weren't cooked the way we requested and they kept forgetting to bring our drinks (soda) we ordered and it was not worth the money.”

“Stay was quite pleasent. Great location for walking the French Quarter. Priceline promotion we booked featured a King room, but upon check-in we were told a King was not available. When we objected to the change a King room was found.”

  • Very good gym, and excellent view from the club room.
  • A broken bathroom faucet was repaired and broke again. The electronic key cards frequently fail.

“Good location, club room was a great value since I used the gym daily and it made breakfast with my 2 year old really easy. The pool was nice but a bit on the small side and the pool deck would get crowded. We used this hotel for a combo of going to the Convention Center and leisure activities so it was a good middle ground although it was a bit far to the Convention Center since it was over 95 outside. I would definitely go there again.”

  • The decor of the room was very nice and comfortable.
  • The fitness room needs updating.

“This is a very nice hotel. It was very clean and comfortable. It was a very busy place as it is a convention center. I am a frequent business traveler to New Orleans and this is one of my favorite hotels to stay at. I would definitely stay there again on my next trip. Only one complaint. I wish they would update their fitness room. Besides that, it is wonderful!”

  • The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The view was spectacular.
  • The quality and prices in the restaurant.

“My daughter and I stayed here on our recent trip to NOLA. The location was great for all of our activities. The hotel was very comfortable with wonderful views. Enjoyed the pool for cooling off in the afternoons. Very nice workout area. Skip the restaurant. Poor food quality.”

  • The hotel staff was very nice and courteous. They went above and beyond, especially the bell guys.
  • I did not like that there was no refrigerator or microwave in the rooms.

“This hotel is in an excellent location. Walking distance, if you feel like it, to everything. The hotel staff was very friendly and went out of the way to get you what you needed. Will definitely stay there again.”

  • The staff was extremely polite and helpful. From the valet to the guy who brought me extra towels, I noticed the extra effort.
  • Nothing.

“Excellent customer service. For example, I called guest services for extra towels and they arrived five minutes later. One minute after that, I received a call confirming my towels arrived and asking if their was anything else I needed. I was definitely impressed with the extra effort considering the hotel has upwards of 40 floors. The location was great; two blocks from the west end of the French Quarter, with views of the Mississippi River. I would definitely recommend this hotel.”

  • Location, view, quick check-in, location, fast elevators.
  • The A/C thermostat read 65 F but was really about 72 F it would not go lower. 72 was bearable thought and if that was the worst thing than I'm ok.

“Easy walk to every where. Close to Casino, Bourbon St., Garden Dist. The view from the 43rd floor to the Mighty Mississippi was great. The elevators were super fast. Check-in and out was a breeze. Valet parking is about $30 a day so just factor that into your pricing. Very romantic. The wife and I had a great stay.”

  • Not the cleanest place, not small children friendly.

“The location of the hotel was perfect; we parked and were able to walk to everything we wanted to do. Our first room had plumbing issues and we had to change rooms. Next room was fine but bathroom was not very great. Rust on tub handrail. Mildew in the tub.”

“The location was great, there's Starbucks coffee in the room (yum!), and the room was very clean with a great view of the city. The valet; however, was $30/day and a bottle of domestic beer at their bar was $5.50. Also, there is a Starbucks located in the lobby; however, my wife and I noticed a couple of flies buzzing around in the bagels. Other than that, it was great! We would stay again.”

  • This was not in the French Quarter but not far from it.
  • No personality at all. The hotel bar was boring the rooms were boring, the atmosphere was boring.

“Although there is nothing significant to complain about, the overall experience at this hotel was rather a big yawn. The rooms could use an update (bathrooms mostly) but there was nothing offensive about any of it. But the hotel lacks personality. When you come to New Orleans you expect personality. But you don't get it here. I was not crazy about it being outside of the French Quarter as well but it was the lowest price and that was important this time around. Next time I may not have that restriction and will choose another hotel.”
