• Friendly staff and great location.
• No free computer access.

“Great staff but there were ice machines not on every floor. 50 cent per minute internet fee, only one siting chair per room but the service of the employees was the best.”

• No parking, expensive valet parking fee, hot water / cold water issues, old TV.

“Nice hotel, but definitely not a 4 star. The TV was old and blurry. There were plumbing issues. In order to get cold water from our cold water faucet we had to run the water for about 5 minutes until the scalding hot water ran out. It appears that the hotel's cold water lines are routed too closely to the hot water lines so very hot water comes out of the cold water faucet, the toilet and the shower when you first turn on the cold water or flush the toilet. Also, the TV was an old, blurry 19 model. Other 4 stars hotels that I have stayed at all had 42 flat screen TVs.”

“Located in the Financial District two blocks off the edge of the French Quarter and 4 blocks from Harrods. Easy walk to anything one would want to do. Trolley stop less than 1 block takes you to the Uptown & Garden Districts.”

• Small, quiet, very clean and fresh looking.
• The only public space was in the lobby. There was not anywhere to go outside and sit.

“Great hotel. Beautiful rooms and lobby. Close to Canal Street, shopping, and restaurants. We walked to the Superdome for a game. I would stay there again in the winter. In the spring and summer, I like to be able to sit outside at the hotel.”

“Everything was pretty much great, except one thing. I came up the elevator to go to my room, and I blatantly caught the maid staff hiding something, twice. Not sure what that was about, but it makes me a little suspicious. None of me or my friends staff was messed with, but still makes me suspicious you know. Otherwise, this was a great place to stay.”

• It was beautiful, the staff was friendly.
• The bathroom sink only produced hot water, could not get cold. When I called down to the desk about this, they said they'd send someone but did not'

“A former mason lodge turned hotel which the Hilton renovated awhile ago-great rooms, great staff and service, the friendless doorman, a great restaurant (Luke) next store which I only discovered the day before I left, close to French Quarter, Lafayette Park, Warehouse District, Canal and St Charles Streetcars; walk able to everything; close to a fib cheap breakfast place on camp and Graver called Commerce; fib coffee in the room.”

• I had to go to another floor for ice. Sorry, thats all.

• Perfect spot for Mardi Gras!
• Not too close to 'food' shopping areas.

“The Mardi Gras parade marched directly in front of the hotel! A perfect location for viewing the parade and for visiting the French Quarter and other popular sites. The hotel employees were very nice and helpful, and the rooms were beautiful. We did find shopping for snacks, water, etc. a bit of a pain since the nearest grocery-type store was several blocks away, but, aside from that, our visit was quite enjoyable!”

• The sitting area in the bedroom , bathroom, bed and staff.
• Because it was in the heart of New Orleans the outside window view was not very picturesque.

“The Airport transportation could not take us to the Hotel door because of a Mardi Gras Parade, we had to walk about 8 blocks to get to the Hotel. We were early for our check in but the staff checked us in immediately and provided us a pleasant Oasis from the crowds. We were very impressed with the staff wanting to make everything go as smoothly as could be expected. They were very helpful in giving directions and getting us anything they could with in their ability. The Hotel was in tip top shape and very well kept. The elevators were clean, quite and quick. The rooms were well equipped for all we wanted or needed.”

• Tried billing Valet parking to my room and I did not use it.

“Great rooms, well appointed. Mine could have used a chair; the only one was a desk chair. Super housekeeping I could not believe how efficient they were even though this was MadiGras weekend. Had an issue with some Valet parking charges that were not valid being billed to my room and it took two conversations to get this corrected. In all a very nice hotel in the CBD.”

“I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I would have thought the hotel would have had a shuttle to take you to and from the convention center because of Mardi Gras Parades.”

• Spacious Room.
• Roaches in bathroom / went during mardi gras - right on route - streets blocked - had to walk to hotel from several blocks away.

“The hotel room was spacious - but there were two roaches in the bathroom. We went during Mardi Gras so we were stuck in traffic/street closures for 1 1/2 hours after we reached the Downtown area. We called the hotel for better directions - we were told the street was not blocked off to the hotel - which was not true - there were bleachers outside the hotel! We ended up parking several blocks away and walking to the hotel with our luggage. But it was Mardi Gras.”

• Vehicle Parking was to High, $29.00/day.

“This hotel is located in the center of the CBD (Central Business District) of New Orleans and is within walking distance of many of the tourist attractions in the city. My wife and I were in the city for the Essence Music Festival, and we were able to walk to the Convention Center, the River Walk and the French Quarters which were just a few blocks away.”

• Centrally located between French Quarter, Super Dome, and the rest of downtown.
• Inside the hotel was safe. Stepping out onto the sidewalk at night was a gamble with safety.

“Clean and pretty. Good customer service and convenient to all of town. During the day, an easy walk to most places. At night the location brings safety into issue.”

• Wine happy hour too crowded an area- 3 of 4 nights we skipped

“This is an outstanding hotel. Staff were excellent. Rooms upscale and spotless. Lost clothing was found and delivered after check out. Food at Cobalt was GREAT although limited choices. Parking (valet ) was too high at $29 per night.”

“Other than being given a room that overlooked what appeared to be a massive air conditioner and facing the building next door (they could see right in our windows had we left the curtains open) we absolutely loved this hotel. The bed was so comfortable.”

“It was much more than I expected. According to the hotels information booklet the room rate was $335.00/per night and I paid $75.00/night! Cant ask for more than that!”
